When I open each parts with WinRar, it keeps on saying that the file is damaged but nothing happens when I open it with 7zipper. Should I continue downloading the parts or nah?
Each RAR/ZIP file is a part of a huge single file. You can't open a part of such file. You NEED to download ALL the parts, then you can open the first one to uncompress the whole parts. (PS: I am still dlding the files...)
Apologize for my lack of knowledge because base on my past experiences of downloading games like these, I could open each rar (I was doing this to see whether the file is damaged; it works in some games but keep in mind I am not trying to uncompress it). Anyway, I already have the game and there are no issues except for halo 2 anniversary. Frames drop time by time whether I enter a new mission/campaign.
I post this only because I take pity on my fellow buccaneers, who aren't afraid to plunder >100 gigs of loot.
Installer is bugged - it may freeze at some point and you'll need to retry. It does the job though.... eventually
Game has an obscure UE4 Fatal Error, which crashes Halo on startup. It's a common bug with an unknown cause (crash logs are shit). Common solutions are reinstall the game, run in windowed mode, delete MCC in AppData/LocalLow, limit framerate to 30FPS, update drivers, but there are more. None are guaranteed to work (my case). DOWNLOAD AT YOUR OWN RISK. Mabe you'll get ze bug, maybe you won't. Other releases may be affected too, as it's a problem with the whole Master Chief Collection. See you in vanilla CE. I keep getting the UE4 Fatal Error crash. I tried reinstalling the game, launching it in windowed mode via shortcut properties, updating my drivers and windows but i kept getting the same error. If you play it on the platform it was originally meant for, ie. the PC, then it's got the hallmarks of a damn good game - story, lore, pacing, excellent shooting mechanics with fleshed out weapons, adequate AI and except for the copy-pasted levels in the second half of the first HALO or the slog through the library for the Index, well designed, logical levels. And actually, HALO was never meant to be an FPS at all, it was first designed as an RTS on the MAC! Then a third-person shooter and finally an FPS when Old Man Gates needed something good to launch his funbox and bought Bungie and HALO. It was the first FPS on console that wasn't shit or controlled horribly. I prefer mouse and keyboard and hate playing FPSs with a controller but HALO was the first to be built for that very thing. Everything you play now, Fortnite, Minecraft, PUBG, Gears, Doom, etc., ALL of them have HALO to thank for standardizing FPS controls on console. Pay respect because otherwise there probably wouldn't BE FPSs on console right now. You kids have it WAY too good now and are spoiled fucking rotten because of it! I am having some issues, upon using the shortcut, easy anti cheat loads, then a small screen appears with the title of the game, before quickly disappearing (at which point I assume it crashes) and nothing happens. Any ideas fellas?

Alright I downloaded them and the essentials cause you actually need the essential parts in order to get the setup.exe. And now Im having trouble with the installation part cause it always fails triggering an error of not having some bins beforehand like the mcc, so yeah Im still stuck.

No, no you can not. every single site that has the game for download has the entire collection because, like i said, every new game that comes out for said collection changes files that need to be replaced for the new games to work, hence why they aren't available solo. Not to mention it's more convenient for people who didn't download previous versions to just download the whole thing in one go

Except that isn't the ENTIRE collection, that is only Halo CE Anniversary edition and Halo Reach. You really think that 6 entire games was going to be any less than 100 GB?

Having to extract it has nothing to do with owning a HDD and SSD I have both, but just because i have an SSD doesnt mean i have no use for my HDD, just because something is faster doesnt always mean better. ssds are well overrated people are so blinded by them they think its going to increase your fps Lol ssd/hdd doesnt matter.
Ah, Misinformation, My favourite snack. While it is true that for the most part using an SSD does not increase fps, It is false to state that it does not help and does not matter, Faster load times, reduced pop-in textures in select titles, less noise, cooler temperatures in the rig, and in some rare cases, actual increase in fps, while very, very small, it is still an increase. I for one, use 2x1tb m.2 SSD drives for games resulting in lighting fast load times, and 2x4tb SSD for storage, I doubt that I will ever come back to those HDDs, far too much of a difference in general use and gaming. And just for your information, "next" gen games that will be coming out in the coming years will highly encorauge the use of SSD's, hell, Cyberpunk 2077 already recommends that pc players use an SSD, even if it is just a marketing shtick to make the "pc mastur race" crowd flock to the shops. All in all, one just can not compare the use of an SSD for games to a HDD, the difference is noticable immediately, but suit yourself if you want to sit through load screens for hours on end. Nothing wrong with that, I suppose. Have a good one.

Again, misinformation, or the 1% of user data taken to the extreme, if you were to get to the very bottom of this reasoning, then the life expectancy of an HDD is something like 6 years(obviously not the hard limit), while in theory, an SSD can have an indefinite life span, but that does not take in to account the specific conditions that they may find themselves in, but it will for a fact be longer then an HDD. Fun fact, if you move a strong magnet near an HDD all you your data is gone, and the drive can be rendered useless, that, does not happen with an SSD, and overall SSD's are more reliable when it comes to data storage, especially when you set up a RAID 1 for additional protection. Overall, the only reason that you'd get a HDD and not an SSD, is when you don't have that much money, do not care about loading times, and want more storage, as large SSD's are indeed very expensive, worth it, but not for everyone. But, to answer your original question, the only time an SSD may have it's lifespan shortened is not when you download or play stuff, but is if you do a "full" format, not a "quick" one, and even then it depends on how often you do these, and then you'd have to take into account what kind of SSD it is, MLC/TLC/QLC, the term you'd be looking for then is TBW and that can, and will be different for nearly every drive. Have a good one.

While it is true that for the most part using an SSD does not increase fps, It is false to state that it does not help and does not matter, Faster load times, reduced pop-in textures in select titles, less noise, cooler temperatures in the rig, and in some rare cases, actual increase in fps, while very, very small, it is still an increase.
I for one, use 2x1tb m.2 SSD drives for games resulting in lighting fast load times, and 2x4tb SSD for storage, I doubt that I will ever come back to those HDDs, far too much of a difference in general use and gaming.
And just for your information, "next" gen games that will be coming out in the coming years will highly encorauge the use of SSD's, hell, Cyberpunk 2077 already recommends that pc players use an SSD, even if it is just a marketing shtick to make the "pc mastur race" crowd flock to the shops.
All in all, one just can not compare the use of an SSD for games to a HDD, the difference is noticable immediately, but suit yourself if you want to sit through load screens for hours on end. Nothing wrong with that, I suppose.

Fun fact, if you move a strong magnet near an HDD all you your data is gone, and the drive can be rendered useless, that, does not happen with an SSD, and overall SSD's are more reliable when it comes to data storage, especially when you set up a RAID 1 for additional protection.
Overall, the only reason that you'd get a HDD and not an SSD, is when you don't have that much money, do not care about loading times, and want more storage, as large SSD's are indeed very expensive, worth it, but not for everyone.
But, to answer your original question, the only time an SSD may have it's lifespan shortened is not when you download or play stuff, but is if you do a "full" format, not a "quick" one, and even then it depends on how often you do these, and then you'd have to take into account what kind of SSD it is, MLC/TLC/QLC, the term you'd be looking for then is TBW and that can, and will be different for nearly every drive.
