How do I change the language in the current version of the game please? I have changed to spanish in the steam_emu.ini file but it doesn't make any changes
Probably the most unfun game in the series. I do not mind how autotrade can make the game a bit too easy. I do not mind how naval battles are turned based. I do not mind prices in goods do not make sense. But darn it, the moment you put together a really small warship fleet, it will drain your money faster than "diarrhea". I do not even see the point of unlocking more than 1 or maybe 2 ship captains. Having constantly even 1 fleet for either attacking or protecting your ships, will require you have a really large income. Shame, cause it seemed like a good game I was thinking of buying eventually. Probably will go for 3.
ok i found . i just replaced data1 fuk file with previous version's data1 fuk which i found in language pack - english lang of previous version. it's simple .
There was some Russia tech head a while back, who dropped a red pill on how the graphics cards manufacturers and game developers worked together for "planned obsolescence": making games run a lot worse than the generation's hardware could potentially run them -- so that plebes would keep buying buying hardware. He even ran so-called "process hogging" games on cards that were "potatoes" for the time (GTX500 series, or some such), to prove his point. It makes sense, too, given that it's not like they can (or would) any longer make products that last for years -- where is the profit in that? Remember how Apple used ma|ware to slow their phones' processors, so as to push people into buying new models every year?... That's the same deal, effectively. Indeed, taking it a step further, offshoring the West's manufacturing to the lowest bidders (Shina etc.) -- knowing full well the crap they would (and did) churn out -- would mean an increased need for more junk...
consumerism 101 The only miscalculation these greedy nihilists made, was that they failed to incorporate (or simply ignored) the unsustainability of an infinite growth model of capitalism in a finite world (see: tragedy of the commons); as well as the ensuing societal problems destroying so many jobs, and the notion of quality workmanship, would cause... 💀

I use IGG since many years and I noticed that sometimes, he reuploads a game even if there's no updates, but if it's a different installer which he considers superior, I guess. Recently, for example, he replaced some kind of repack with a GOG setup, which, I admit, was better. I'm not sure if it's the case here, though, and I'm not sure I'll take the time to re-download the whole thing now. I'll wait for future big updates. Edit : I checked and now it's an official CODE.X release and before, it was a portable zipped file which might have been incomplete or not working for everybody, I don't know. Usually, IGG prefers official releases. So, this is why he reuploaded it after all.
