Here's how you get VR mode working: Go to the base SNOW directory Copy/Paste your system.cfg file. Rename the copied file to user.cfg Edit it, and replace everything in there with this (without the quotes): "sys_vr_support=1" Save, and run the game! EDIT: Press F1 to go into first person mode :D
Add " -vrmode" in the target of the shortcut path (don't forget the space). I'm on Oculus Rift S and it works perfectly, but I must play on keyboard (doesn't work with Oculus Touch).
This game had potential in the Alpha days, then they got a tiny bit of success and turned it into a garbage factory. Totally abandoned the original physics in exchange for something a toddler can operate.
Isn't this one multiplayer only? I've tried Steep some years ago, but Ubisoft can go fuck themselves with 40€ for base game and then 80% of stuff locked behind a paywall So.. does Snow support singleplayer events only? Moreover, has there ever been a true open world skiing/boarding singleplayer game released?
lol you know what, I misread the IGG notification and for a minute, I got excited and thought that Steep was cracked and playable offline or some miracle happened...haha Then I saw this... Man, this looks subpar compared to Steep...
it kinda was compared to steep but if i recall right this was started as a f2p so steep had a much bigger budget asset, i've not played this game since like 2016 and they kinda ruined steep with the dlc policy, which was due to having such a big budget on the back and not making enough sale on release cause the game is too niche, i'm pretty sure they've dropped all kind of development on steep and they are just working on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Riders_Republic which from what i understand is gonna be basically steep 2 i recall they did a survey for a new dlc about 2 years ago and look at what the most popular picks are the main activities of the new game lol i'm expecting that steep will go offline pretty soon after that
Thanks for the information, I didn't know about the sequel of Steep, it looks freaking cool. Personally, I love bikes (and it's so rare in games!), and it looks like it could replace in my heart Descenders, which is my favorite bike game ever. (except maybe riding a bike in GTA V lol) But the jetpack thing looks like something I definitely want to try. he he
