Game needs a fix (and reupload to google drive). There are problems with resolution. Yes, even in GOG official version. There seems to be no instruction from the author of the fix, but basically what you need to do is to use 'exe' file from "Children of the Nile Enhanced Edition.7z" with your choosen combination of resolution and refresh rate to replace the original one. I also used all files from "Children of the Nile EE HUD.7z" except 'exe' one to replace same original files. 'Exe' one from "Children of the Nile EE HUD.7z" does not seem to be doing right resolution.
I had no problem downloading. Once downloaded there is nothing that is playable in the download. Just a readme, the url, .bin file and a .cue file and nothing else.
It's been a million years since you commented, but to anyone else who wants to play this game, use PowerIso to open the bin file and extract it's contents from there.
