If you want an honest take on The Outer Worlds, and no hype or hate BS, here's what I've got to say. It's not great, but it's enjoyable enough. TOW is a role-playing game at its core, and focuses on quests, characters and story, with a lot of faltering effort put into combat and world-building. Let's get this out of the way; the main story is bad. It's predictable, it's so heavy-handed it makes you wonder if their intention was to subvert their own message, and there's some sloppy attempts at "grey morality" that never hit the mark and are discarded completely by the time the very black-and-white final act rolls in. Despite that, if you enjoy story-based games, the journey may be worth the hassle. The companions, and some of the NPCs, are almost three-dimensional characters with interesting, if not always relatable, stories and struggles, and chances are that'll be the main reason you end up trudging through the game. Some (arguably many) of the quests, dialogues and NPCs are just boring, trite, or fail at being as interesting as they attempt to be, but the good stuff is enjoyable. Gameplay is where this game is weakest (its various technical issues notwithstanding). The combat is almost fun if you crank it to hard and mow down most encounters if you have good weapons, with the occasional bullshit death because game balance is ass. Otherwise, the whole combat, weapon, armor, skill & perk system is just not good enough. Itemization is piss-poor, weapons aren't very distinct and most mods are boring or too situational (balance between them is bad), there's just three tiers of the exact same weapons that drop depending on level, so many "legendary" or unique weapons become literal trash, often the moment you acquire them, because they belong to an inferior tier to the current one your other weapons are in, and most of the time their effects aren't anything to write home about anyways. The skill level you have for a type of weapon has uninteresting and underwhelming effects, perks are largely situational and the most useful ones end up being the quality-of-life ones (get the ones that help movement ASAP or you'll spend 60% of your game time just walking around lmao), and because of how pointless or unhelpful most perks feel, the already bad "Flaws" system becomes completely pointless beyond pure RP reasons (not that it even adds anything to that either). Exploration (& level design) ranges from "pretty alright" to "oh my fucking god I'm gonna fall asleep on my chair". Some locales and dungeons have a whole lot more to them than others, but the overall feel is pretty awful. Exploration is rarely rewarding by itself too, it's often tied to quests, and at most you'll get one of the secret 'science weapons' that you'll use once, say "oh, that was cool", and never use ever again... Overall, the game feels unbalanced, in a broader sense than the lacking gameplay balance. Some aspects of it are great, some are barely acceptable; some places are visually beautiful, some look like they were slapped together with cheap Unity assets in 10 minutes; some dialogues are great, some make Oblivion NPCs seem like Shakesperan actors... You get the point. This game tried to sell itself as "Fallout but good haha lol", but it's essentially a "What if we made a Choose Your Own Adventure book but in space and we slapped a budget FPS on it?". It's superficially 'good', but whiffs and half-asses any depth it could have. TL;DR: You might get more out of this game from watching someone else play it, honestly. If you really dig some good writing moments, and don't mind wading through the unremarkable bog that is most of the rest of the game, go right ahead, otherwise, don't waste your bandwidth (let alone your money) with this one.

As much as I love walls of text, I'm not going to write out the full 5-6 pages it would take to properly break it all down on a download site, and especially not for such a mediocre, forgettable game. Sure, I could've given some specific examples, like how the heavy machinegun you start to see in the mid-game is significantly worse than the MK2 light machinegun that drops maybe one or two levels after it, or how the Mayor from the first town (can't be arsed to remember any names) is a completely throwaway character you speak to once or twice at most. But it's too late now, and my point was made; people understood what I said without need for more in-depth breakdowns and specific examples. Hell, I don't think I even need to give any examples on the perks: a simple look at the full list of them speaks for itself. This game was a mess, and the only saving grace was the supporting character cast, the aesthetics, and some of the moments through the story (which largely ties back to the characters). If people understood that fine, then my review of it was fine. If I had wanted to do a more in-depth breakdown, I would've, and it wouldn't have been 'just a review' at that point.

Fallout has always felt kind of half-assed to me, I've only played 4 but it seemed buggy/unpolished in the ways that would only be cute of a game released before the 2010 decade. They still seem to give off that 2005 unpolished vibe. It's not attractive anymore in a game. I might check it out on easy mode just to breeze through the story, but if the story is just like Fallout 4 where your chooses REALLY don't matter that much, I'll discontinue. Thank you for the info!
Someone found the work around against the google exceeded limit, create a new folder and put the shortcut of the file you want to download in it, then download the folder. I'll take 5-10 min for google to do their stuff but it worked nonetheless, i tried it with 2 file both 5gb and exceeded limit. sorry for bad english!

One should Never use Torrents. They are Slow as heck because they are dependent on peoples upload speed which is generally way slower than download speed. Torrents are Tracked and this could get you Busted. 150.000 dollars per instance of piracy found on your hard drive. Not worth it. Https is the safest way with or without a VPN.
Technically this game is amazing, it has almost no bugs whatsoever, and runs really really well on lower end pc's. Artistically too it's quite good, with the overall visual and audio designs being quite pleasing. And yet i could not bring myself to play it even half way through, somehow it just feels soulless, hollow, and ultimately unsatisfying. Shame :/
That is sandbox games in a nutshell. You either love them or ultimately get bored with them and move on. If they are bad quality in multiple ways, then you will put them down immediately. If they are good quality like Skyrim and the likes, you will play them for a while until new games come out and you want to play those.
It happens to me with A LOT of games lately. Games that are extremely good and of any genre you might think of, but I feel bored. Then I suddelny spend thousand of hours in some indie unity crappy game that is clearly an asset flip. Life is full of mysteries.
I agree the overall story is bland, but I remember really liking the companion quests. Ellie's, Parvati's, SAM (who was just funny to have around), Nyoka's. I wish there was a lot more character driven stories rather than the artificial "Choose good side or bad side" cliche.

Agreed. Beat it via Game Pass when it launched, but it just felt like it ticked all the boxes in terms of what you would expect in an RPG, but never really excelled in anything. I was expecting more considering it seemed like the gaming media and others were hailing it as being essentially a Fallout-killer, or "New Vegas 2", but it just felt so hollow. Fallout 4 had it it's issues, but I keep going back to it every six months or so. This game? Not so much.

Thanks for sharing this. It made me way less upset that my wifi is so crap it can't handle downloading it. Whole reason I love Fallout NV (the main reason this game is hyped to begin with) is because of the modding. If I can't mod a game like this at all then what's the point? I'll get bored of the base game or simply won't like how it looks then I'll be SOL.

Does anyone know how to install the codex? I do not have any anti-virus going and I even try to run as admin, but it keeps saying file corrupt, deleting.. No matter what codex I use it constantly refuses to update.
I got the 2 patches installed finally but the third update refuses to do anything. It just keeps deleting itself :( I don't know where else to get that update.

Have you tried a different update? Hash sum mismatch usually means that the update setup couldn't find an appropriate folder to install itself into. You could have an already updated version, or you could have issues with the main game folder itself. I know your comment is fairly old, but i'm almost done downloading the torrent version and wanted to check out which update version was on it.

when you installed the game did you check the box that says "copy crack folder to installer_dir" ? If not, Then the crack folder should have the replacement files for the main folder.
I have 5.1 receiver and this game's NPC dialogues come from front two channels and sound muffled. I did everything possible to get audio from centre channel but I can't. Is the game designed that way?. All surround channels work except centre channel which only I can hear when the character jumps (humph sound). Can anyone confirm this? All other games work perfect, like farcry 3, fc4, fc blood dragon and may others. Facing this issue only in FC New Dawn and this Outer Worlds game. Thanks.
So I'm new to having to update games via piracy, do I need to download all the updates listed below the main game and install them, or do I just grab the latest one and then I'm good?

the game has suprisingly low requirements (eng 0) so idk about procesors but im sure almost anyone can run it that have a card from like 5 yrs ago but not sure im maybe just blowing smoke up your bholes
I would download the torrent for it, I have found that this happens a lot when downloading seperate pieces of games. If you need any help doing it I'm happy to help. Edit: Also if using 7zip maybe try Winrar or vice versa. Oh, I have also had it say this before but the file worked fine afterwards(Not always). Make sure your extraction program is updated, also some forums seem to think you should test your RAM(Maybe a last resort thing?).

I tried to install the 180MB update. It said it needed 70GB of space. I assumed it meant including the game. I proceeded with the update. I checked my space on my SSD, and it was now 30GB instead of 50GB. I cancelled the update and it deleted my entire fucking game. It's completely gone, I have 80GB free now. Time to redownload the whole fucking thing and install it on my HDD instead.
Oh my god I was playing the game fine when suddenly it crashed while i was walking and my screen turned blue and said the computer had ran into a problem and had to restart. When I tried to run the game I got this message then I went to check the files and just found this please help me I was like level 19 and on stellar bay. I cant find my save files anywhere. Means you need to download directx runtime i think. Unless it just means you need to download the latest directx , not sure how you would do this but might just wanna look it up on google or something~ Also directx is just a program that games run off basically, there are different directx's tho latest is directx 11 if im correct and then 10 and 9 are the common ones as directx 8 is used for a lot more older games such as elder scrolls 3 oblivion~ hope this helps somewhat
you need microsoft XNA. that's it. it includes all the direct X support and runtime libraries you need for games that didnt other to add one in the instal pak

Dude that PC is questionable as an office Pc, can you even run Pinball 3D on WinXP? Nah just messing but you should upgrade, especially if you want to play this game, i recommend maybe the gtx 1660 ti with i5 9400f seems to be a pretty good cheap build, my gf uses that setup with 16gb 3200mhz ram and obviously an SSD and i've been able to run COD MW, and the witcher 3 etc with high settings 1440p at 60fps+ and it's not that expensive compared to if you were to get 1080's and rtx, nothing sweeter than building that new PC <3 PS. I dont know what you are on about but that is not a mid range pc at all right now my game is using 2.5gb of ram often going above 4 in certain area's it will cap out an decently modern i7-7700 it makes my gpu run at around 30-35% of its usage(1080ti) Do you really think that a ancient old gt 210 could even dream of running this? sorry but saying that "it can play far cry on high" is like saying "my horse drawn cart can go a few hours before it has to rest" it isnt anything to do with optimization or anything your hardware is just too old and isnt even considered low end anymore maybe a few years ago but not anymore now Just to put it out there your card it came out 10 years ago

Just finished this game yesterday. Loved it a lot! My brother's got a copy of it on the PS4, but I'll probably wait for Steam's version to support it myself. I want those workshop mods and I'm not eager to grab a copy from Epic or the Windows store.
I recently finished it and it was great. It is not a long game (like Las Vegas) but I prefer that way. However, I get a bug and Parvana didn't make it (what a bummer, my favorite character).
If windows came with all DirectX versions, it would come with the other optional features, and since Windows 10 take up enough space on it's own, 200 gb of trash is not optimal for someone with a small ssd. Download DirectX for every game you need, along with many other optionals that games don't run without.
You might just have 15 gb of space inyour drive. So, just download copy part 1 and 2 and delete those. then make a copy of 3 and 4 and so on. That should work
you need to go to the trash section in the left, and click there, then you'll see what you erased, then you drag all the files or press them one by one, with left click you select the option to remove them and you should have your space again.

Anybody else getting a ctd when trying to enter stellar bay ruins or trying to land outside of stellar bay on monarch? I kinda can't leave Stellar Bay at all at the moment. Kinda annoying. Also, i don't think that it's my specs, i have been playing the game on ultra up to this point and had no similar issues.
In order to get past that, go to the initial download link, the black one, and click "Add to my drive" in the top right. Go to your google drive and select "make a copy". You can then download that copy!

My pc is mostly run on good optimization >_> I3-6100 and rx 580. If the game is optimized, It'll run at 144 hz, ultra, 1440p. If not.... it'll barely run at all... Planning on a ryzen 5 3600, seems like amd finally shut down intel's huge lead
Yeah, I don't want it, I HAVE it. In games where the gpu is more important than the cpu, and that are also optimized very well. Like Rainbow six for example, ultra/very high, 1440p, ~60-150 fps(my monitor is 60 hz, so I mostly play with v-sync) and runs all fine and butter smooth...If we try talking about ac origins or oddyssey.... 25 fps at 1080 medium in towns, around 80 outside of towns... It matters a lot and changes going from game to game severely, that's why as I said, I'm upgrading soon to a 3600 to get the bottlenect out of the equasion. Also, strangely enough, for the 150 bucks I paid for it 4.5 years ago, it is still going and didn't have any issues with it, was also my gpu for 2-3 of those years, thankfully I never have to experience THAT again... >_>
exactly it either means 1.Your PC is not good enough so upgrade it 2.The game is not Optimized much I can run it perfectly stable with 60FPS on High with a gtx1060 and a i7 7770k i could even get to 120/144 if i put it on Low/Medium
I can run it on high too but there is a drastic decrease in quality specifically with the textures between high and very high. High kinda looks like shit. Many of the posters and signs on walls will be blurry and undreadable the moon man helmet looks like a giant white orb rather than a moon etc.

A 2x faster card than the gtx 1070 will come out around the year 2050 at this pace (with a reasonable 200-600$ price) , without any major revolution, it won't increase that mutch m8... Unless you're willing to pay thousands of course, then you can get by with the 1500$ Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti, it's exactly 105% better than the 1070 atm, especially for gaming :)
mmmm no i would rather go for the 1080ti in 2-3 years that card would be less expensive almost at the same price like the 1050ti at this moment theres no point to waste a lot of bucks on monster cards unless theres a game who needs a 1080ti for minimum specs but probably that would happen in the next 7-8 years or if you are a VR addict which that will take less I know this because i use a 1080ti and the price got slighly lowered this year

From what i have seen from what others have said they don't keep the games updated good. i saw they remove games after awhile but i don't know long they leave the games on it before they remove them. would suck if you had a game you was playing was almost finished with it they go and remove it. here i can download it i can play it when i want. i was thinking of getting the Game Pass but after reading what other said about it i changed my mind.
They don't take away games on a short notice. Also, they do give you a long, and I mean a really long time to play them. Unless you leave it hanging around for weeks, it's more than enough to finish the game several times. And if you still like to keep it, you can buy it at a discount afterwards from MS directly. Even if a game goes out of game pass, your saves will stay as they were on your account. Anything you buy in-game will stay as well. You will simply need to buy the base game, which at that point may be discounted everywhere, so might as well.

For the three geniuses who downvoted, you do not how it feels like to live in a region where every online service spells crap like "not available in your region". So, even if I wanted to pay, I can't. Using free VPN results in poor internet bandwidth (and these oversized games DO NOT help) and paying for a premium VPN service is too costly for me, and I'd also have to pay for the services that I got the VPN for on top of that.

when i first enter in the Crazy scientist, click any shortcut to open items or journal make the game crash, i just went there and never open the menu lol. i thnk being the first release + cracked game, crash will happen! try going another place first, change party members, equipment, etc

Okay, so after few days of being practically glued to this game, it's pretty goddamn awesome. True oldschool RPG feeling for newer times. Last time I enjoyed singleplayer RPG so much was probably when Witcher 3 came out. Obsidian Entertainment really outdid themselves on this one. It looks and plays a lot better than any Fallout title and that's something you notice after 20 minutes of playing. Writing, storytelling, the setting, gunplay and overall gameplay and presentation are fantastic and since Bethesda justifies bugs in their games by saying "HURR DURR, IT'S A BIG SANDBOX OPEN WORLD, OFCOURSEITHAZBUGS!!!" The Outer Worlds has literally none. It doesn't crash, NPC's don't randomly disappear into the ground or in the sky, (I'm looking at you Fallout and Skyrim) it runs as it should be running from day one and despite few optimization problems, that are easily fixable via .ini file mentioned before, there's really no other flaws in this game. No microtransactions, no standard, deluxe, supreme, gold, platinum, diamond, whatever edition, no pre-order bonuses (!!!), it's just a freaking videogame. In this day and era Obsidian made an actual game. Now I understand why some people in the comments were pointing out 1€ game pass on MS Store, Microsoft practically liberated this game, and while I'm on the subject, this is the first title in a long, long long time, which is actually worth the full 60€ price tag in the store. I ain't gonna go on the record to tell anyone to go and buy this game, because I know how easily you guys get triggered on this site, just some food for thought Oh, and do yourself a favor kids, tell your parents to buy you new PC for upcoming Christmas, there's your answer as to why game keeps crashing on you, or just wait for some optimization fixes and pray it's gonna work as it should (spoiler alert: it won't. It is a demanding game in system requirements department, so like I said, write a letter to Santa)

Okay first, Thanks for the upload and share. I get all my games from you guys. Second, for all those wondering why the Codex folder is empty, it's because the game doesn't require a crack. Just install and Enjoy. The game runs great on my PC. I'm running an AMD Ryzen 5 1500x Quad Core Processor 3.5GHZ and 16 Gigs or RAM on a 64bit Windows 10. No graphic issues at all, visuals and audio look and sound great too. I've played about 3 hours of the game so far and I'm enjoying it. Some people say the game sux or that it's just a poor mans Borderlands, but the game is pretty good. Guys I played the game with max settings this is how my pc performed. I also tried in 4k I got between 20-35fps. My specs : GTX 1060 6gb, i3 8100, 8gb ddr4 ram.
im running on 1060 max Q (overclocked) and i lock it at 60fps..with high settings except for shadows and textures at medium.....running every smooth on my end..
I had some fps drops I know and it sucks... I tried with the lates nvidia drivers it was worse... Even in the lowest settings I have stutters. I don't know for what reason but my gpu and cpu usage are never close to 100%. Especially my GPU sometimes the usage drops to 0%...
Ya It's really weird. I modified the .ini file .. U can get a modified version on nexus modes to help with performance . Didn't notice to much But ya I'm on medium high settings At about 50 to 60 fps ... Not checking my % of use .. But my thermals are great Not going over 65°c I'm running at 1440p btw
In 900p I have 60fps with max settings but I have fps drops and it's unplayable like this I will reset my pc and see what happens (After I did the driver update I didn't reset my pc). I will also try to play in 4k with lowered settings. That's what I did with Ac Odyssey I had a lot of fps drops but now I don't have anymore. I can play it between 30-45fps with almost everything max (4K) and The witcher 3 same almost everything max 30-40 fps (2K or 4K I don't remember exactly)
At 1440p I have 50-60 fps. Maybe it's the cpu I don't know but it shouldn't be this bad I have an I3 8100 (It's a little better than I5 7500). I will retry but firstly I will reset my pc. I also did the ini settings 5 mins ago so we will see I hope it will not stutter anymore :)

You can play this on the microsoft store for 1$ via that monthly pass thing they do, its 1$ right now. Anyways, game was good, took me 18 hours as a pure genocide psychopath run where i just killed everyone and everything in sight. Yes you can beat the game killing everyone, npcs will even talk about you doing it.
You might be able to get away with it by changing what country your from in the microsoft store. alot of people did that to swap to new zealand since they were able to play the game 12 hours earlier
There's an option to change the Display Text.... so I think that includes subtitles. It includes all these languages: English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Polish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean.
You do realize that the creators of this game, Obsidian made Fallout New Vegas right? As to where Fallout 76 and Fallout 4 were both made by Bethesda.. Two different developers. TL:DR (if you're inept), the game won't be nearly as bad as Fallout 76 or Fallout 4

I'm having a lot of weird crashing issues as well and i have more than enough to run this game at max settings. So far i've crashed while crouching at a certain major place in the beginning and when talking to a companion.
This is the Epic version of the game so there's no need to lock FPS to 60 but i did it anyways and nothing changed. Also i tried running the game on the lowest possible settings and i still crashed. I found out that i was only crashing in places in close proximity to the cannery in Edgewater. I've no idea why, i did message Obsidian about it though.

Try following settings in engine.ini (found in %localappdata%\indiana\saved config\windowsNoEditor) [SystemSettings] r.TemporalAASamples=4 r.TemporalAACurrentFrameWeight=0.2 This is a massive improvement over the default settings. Next you can also add r.Tonemapper.Sharpen=1.0 to increase sharpening Increase the value for greater effect. (edit I found in this version of UE4 a value greater than 1.0 is required to take effect, which is why I thought it was broken and recommended using reshade) Also you can add r.PostProcessAAQuality=1 to disable the ingame AA, and then you can use FXAA or SMAA from NVIDIA control panel, or reshade, respectively (NOTE: Disabling TAA in Unreal engine 4 also greatly affects reflection quality and can make foliage near water look very glitchy) OR Alternatively add r.ScreenPercentage=100 (under [SystemSettings] and increase the value for higher resolution. Really helps with blurryness at values over ~120 but at massive performance cost. Really don't recommend it since it would probably cut your FPS over half even at 120-130 value edit: After posting this comment I did some more research my self and found even better settings that make MASSIVE improvement I replaced original settings with the new ones. edit2: Here are some more useful settings you can add under engine.ini to incraese overall performance or graphics: [SystemSettings] r.SceneColorFringeQuality=0 ;disable chromatic abberation effect r.Streaming.PoolSize=5632 ;set this to half your VRAM (this is for 1080ti) r.Streaming.MaxTempMemoryAllowed=128 r.UseShaderCaching=1 r.UseShaderPredraw=1 r.OptimizeForUAVPerformance=1 r.Streaming.FullyLoadUsedTextures=1 ;enable this if you have plenty ram/vram, it will load ALL textures in level at the start to prevent lag while playing. r.Streaming.HLODStrategy=2 ;same as above foliage.LODDistanceScale=2 ;doubles draw distance of small objects (rocks, grass, trash) with ~2fps impact

When i change in graphic-settings the 3-d resolution-its a slider from 100% to 90 or lesser i get blurry screen,so maybe this helps somehow(i play in german so not sure it is the same name,but it should be).

Yeah, I like it so far. Only problem - it runs like ass. My specs are beyond minimum, and just below recommended (i5@3,2ghz, GTX 1050 4GB, 8 GB RAM) and it stutters a hellova lot. It's still playable though, Imma be waiting for some updates for performance issues, other than that, it's pretty good so far
I've done every side mission I can find so far, played ~25-30 hours. Only had one crash, but it happened while I was away from computer so I'm not even certain it was the game's fault. No other bugs worth mentioning. Game's solid.
Since fallout 4, I been itchin for an RPG like this. But i've only done a couple of hours of gameplay, New vegas was the best of the fallout games, A real masterpiece. So it may be a bit too early to tell if this is a better new vegas version.

There is no crack, as far as I can tell...the folder was empty yet after white-listing the .exe file from my anti-virus and Windows Defender, the game booted up and ran exceptionally well.
Very slow...when I tried to download from them, it said 2 days for just the first file, so I downloaded everything but the first file from Google. That one I had to get from Mega.z.

I'm running the game on High with no noticeable dips or anything. I just ran the auto-detect in the settings and haven't touched it since. After somewhere between 25 and 30 hours of playing, I've only had one crash while AFK so I don't even know if it was the game's fault. Game's solid.
I won't defend Epic just like I won't defend Steam. I will go to wherever the better price is when I am in the market for a game and take the other important factors into account (DRM, modding support, etc). It is what any intelligent consumer should do. If it happens to be Epic, so be it, but it usually ends up being GOG.

We no longer get the box or manuals, but we pay the same or more than when we did. Now all games are released with bugs and performance issues with no demos, that didn't happen so much before. Yep, there can be some "error" in one of those files. Some Repackers always put executable .bat file to verify all archive files, so you know which have some problems. Here you need probably download all of them again.

Nothing is free. They're just trying to whitewash the fact that they are paying companies so the players are obligated or at least pushed to use a new and far inferior peace of software that wasn't needed at all. Instead of making the experience of playing in a PC a more pleasant experience for all we're just moving into having several launchers, one for each company. Every one of them is one more step that can go wrong and will. And it's shitty for everyone to manage several libraries/saves scattered in I don't know how many launchers - in which obviously I have to input every single personal data they think they need...like send photos while taking a bath and holding my ID...that kind of stuff. But yeah, free sub-par games are everything that matters.

Actually EGS does have a refund policy, within 14 days and 2h played, refund for any reason, the refund is apparently non-automated. I just checked out of curiosity on their faq if they give refunds.

People that usually look for pirated games/music should be the last ones you target your game to sell to; Most of them look for pirated content because they decide they can't afford the it, so they will not buy it anyway - crack or no crack. I've been playing pirated games for a long time, mostly because the release prices are not adjusted to people's country wage, meaning they are too expensive when compared with the medium income. One thing is ask $60 for a game in a country where the medium income is ~$1500...When the medium income is $500, $60 for a game sounds ridiculous. It's gets even worse when you take into account that in most cases you get an unfinished game released as finished and with content locked behind payed dlcs...On the other way, far to many games look good, have good reviews and then are a mess for various reasons and you only get to know it too late. None the less, when I get better prices I buy the games I like - at a price I like. I have bought like several Assassin's Creed including Origins and Odyssey because I recon for all the hours of fun I got out of Ubisoft's cracked games they deserved some of my money. Same thing with the Witcher 3, decided to buy it after playing 20h of cracked version. Also bought Syberia Pack after playing all of them cracked. It's easy to blame or discard pirates, but the reasons go further than "I just don't to pay for it.".

As he said, the limit is by account. But if you copy the file in your, it count for a new file. Your bin can contain 15 Gb, max file size is 5Gb, so if you forgot to delete after download, you will get an error.

Microsoft had nothing to do with this game, they are not even publishing the game. Microsoft are releasing all their games onto Steam so i douibt they would have a problem releasing this on Steam anyway. Private Division are the publishers, they have final say.
You are half right, Microsoft does have the publishing rights to The Outer Worlds (and every Obsidian title from now on) because they bought Obisidian but before MS, Private Division (a Take-Two indie publishing division) was publishing the game and they sealed the deal with EGS, although the game is in the Windows Store too.
People who have played it are saying about 40 hours if you do most of the side stuff. It would be nice to be longer but 40 hours is fine for me. Mass Efffect 1-3 took me 25-30 hours each game, and that was doing everything.

It's not great, but it's enjoyable enough. TOW is a role-playing game at its core, and focuses on quests, characters and story, with a lot of faltering effort put into combat and world-building. The combat is almost fun if you crank it to hard and mow down most encounters if you have good weapons, with the occasional bullshit death because game balance is ass. Otherwise, the whole combat, weapon, armor, skill & perk system is just not good enough. Itemization is piss-poor, weapons aren't very distinct and most mods are boring or too situational (balance between them is bad), there's just three tiers of the exact same weapons that drop depending on level, so many "legendary" or unique weapons become literal trash, often the moment you acquire them, because they belong to an inferior tier to the current one your other weapons are in, and most of the time their effects aren't anything to write home about anyways. The skill level you have for a type of weapon has uninteresting and underwhelming effects, perks are largely situational and the most useful ones end up being the quality-of-life ones (get the ones that help movement ASAP or you'll spend 60% of your game time just walking around lmao), and because of how pointless or unhelpful most perks feel, the already bad "Flaws" system becomes completely pointless beyond pure RP reasons (not that it even adds anything to that either).
Exploration (& level design) ranges from "pretty alright" to "oh my fucking god I'm gonna fall asleep on my chair". Some locales and dungeons have a whole lot more to them than others, but the overall feel is pretty awful. Exploration is rarely rewarding by itself too, it's often tied to quests, and at most you'll get one of the secret 'science weapons' that you'll use once, say "oh, that was cool", and never use ever again...
Overall, the game feels unbalanced, in a broader sense than the lacking gameplay balance. Some aspects of it are great, some are barely acceptable; some places are visually beautiful, some look like they were slapped together with cheap Unity assets in 10 minutes; some dialogues are great, some make Oblivion NPCs seem like Shakesperan actors... You get the point. This game tried to sell itself as "Fallout but good haha lol", but it's essentially a "What if we made a Choose Your Own Adventure book but in space and we slapped a budget FPS on it?". It's superficially 'good', but whiffs and half-asses any depth it could have.
TL;DR: You might get more out of this game from watching someone else play it, honestly. If you really dig some good writing moments, and don't mind wading through the unremarkable bog that is most of the rest of the game, go right ahead, otherwise, don't waste your bandwidth (let alone your money) with this one.

Hash sum mismatch usually means that the update setup couldn't find an appropriate folder to install itself into.
You could have an already updated version, or you could have issues with the main game folder itself.

EDIT: Never mind, fixed it! I noticed that only one file didn't have "Copy of" in its name, redownloaded that one and it's working now!

I've been playing pirated games for a long time, mostly because the release prices are not adjusted to people's country wage, meaning they are too expensive when compared with the medium income. One thing is ask $60 for a game in a country where the medium income is ~$1500...When the medium income is $500, $60 for a game sounds ridiculous.
It's gets even worse when you take into account that in most cases you get an unfinished game released as finished and with content locked behind payed dlcs...On the other way, far to many games look good, have good reviews and then are a mess for various reasons and you only get to know it too late.
None the less, when I get better prices I buy the games I like - at a price I like.
I have bought like several Assassin's Creed including Origins and Odyssey because I recon for all the hours of fun I got out of Ubisoft's cracked games they deserved some of my money. Same thing with the Witcher 3, decided to buy it after playing 20h of cracked version. Also bought Syberia Pack after playing all of them cracked.
It's easy to blame or discard pirates, but the reasons go further than "I just don't to pay for it.".
