has a file called Locale in the folder where the application was installed, just open the location of the file you think. edit this Locale file with notepad and enter the language you want. Remember to put it abbreviated, for example: En, Pt-Br, Pt-Pt.

When opening the exe, did you get a rar file, or am I missing something?
If the above is true, you downloaded an ad, make sure you get the correct file.

ive had this problem before when upgrading
you also have to update your project otherwise it will be messed up
easiest is to create a new project go to that folder copy all the .js files and paste them into your project folder and replace them, also i tried donating version 1.5.1 but igg never posted it im uploading 1.6.1 to mega now ill share the link here later

Yes. It is one file, broken up into 2 parts. You download all the parts (if there is 10, then 10) and you put it in a folder, and simply extract part one only, then follow the installation

Just download the official version from the website (don't worry it's a free trial)
and copy the .js and index.html file into your projects and game folders. Just follow the instructions given here http://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?/topic/69899-rpg-maker-mv-133-update/
If you are finished just deinstall the official software and then keep making RPG's ^^

Let me be the first to say NO if you do it right. Give credit to any plugins and creators (EVEN OF MV) that you used to make the game Make sure all content in your game is your own and original. If you downloaded it from the resource page credit the authors. This included graphics, backgrounds, battlers, face graphics, Character graphics. If no credit is given THEN the infringement case comes into play. I personaly know MANY people who use this version of MV and still make money. Just be careful AND CREDIT EVERYONE that require you to do so (which is basicly all) Yanfly, Yiffy, Hibiki, ALL even the devs of MV credit them as well (the credits txt it creats usualy includes that part but please make it a point to do so again) :) be careful follow those rules and yes you can sell it. Personaly though I do not only because I just enjoy making and sharing games with my friends :) we even have a group.
NOTE: as of this post I only use 1.0.1 The one this site offers there is a 1.3.0 version BUT no one that I know of has cracked that yet :) Most people in my group that do sell end up buying it on sale at 50 usd atm :) I probably will too eventualy if I want to keep up with the bug fixes. The mobile version of my game works FINE with this version anyway. Its well worth the price :)

In term of innovation, there isn't "that" much new. Mainly the engine that went from Ruby to Javascript, meaning it's now easy to import your game almost everywhere (android, mac, html, ...). there are also some part that came back from the ashes from old rpg maker such a side-view battles.
Slightly better default graphics, a whole new character generator (and that one is quite great I would say, specially with all their free dlc and the 1.1 update).
The best part is still a better engine, meaning the game won't be laggy for nothing anymore.

MV seems to have a little more then vx ace.
The resolution is bigger, for one. I'd recommend looking on their steam page, as they have a sticky on the differences.

I'm gonna make this clear we as an RM community always make good games even if you don't like them :D but it is great to see this up here its not SOFTWARE by the way Gaberiel and even if it was they do put that up under the SOFTWARE LIST tab But this is both game and the ability to make games so its BOTH :) thus why its here and why VX ace was here too.
