I didn't know anything about this game either until I searched for "Bao la Kiswahili" (See in the game description above). There are plenty of "How to play" videos -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LM_wkSv-cX0, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPg_0Mb-BUU and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxTW4ss6ml8. It appears to be an ancient African game of strategy.
