Mine does not go beyond the NEON Doctrine and GlassHeart screen. Keeps showing those logos on loop. My old shitty computer could run it fine, but this new one is not even entering the game. Don't know what the issue is.
If anyone gets this invisible weapons glitch I've been getting (maybe because I applied the crack patch that allows controllers to be used again?), you fix it by exiting to menu, starting new game, then loading up your save again. Annoying, but it works.
The new release uses a steam client function for their controller support, so we can't do much in that sense. However, I managed to find a solution for this in the underground forum. I'm not sure if they allow us to share download links. I'll try and e-mail IGG people with the file so they can add it here.
I was 100% convinced that "'that" underground steam forum" would not be enough of a description to actually find it. I was soooo wrong. This was very helpful, thanks. Only problem is you have to register on the forum to download the file.
This is a really good game, it provides a lof of skills ,weapons and amour, some weapon has it own unique skill, many secrets, item to find , the boss-battle on hard mode is nearly as hard as dark souls.... it wont waste your time, try it guys
I agree. While I do enjoy twitch gameplay and extreme difficulty, as well as learning the attacks, timing, and different combat styles of enemies, I've seen very few "souls like" games that aren't clunky messes. I'm sorry, but if I can't cancel a light attack mid-momentum, I'm chalking that up to the game having horrid, clunky controls that didn't have a lot of effort put in to their fluidity. It's pretty easy to tell when something feels unnatural, and almost the entire animation and control set in Dark Souls as well as almost every other Souls Like game falls right in to that category of feeling unnatural. I feel like fan service, as well as Japanese coding limitations have perpetuated the issue, and what we've got now is just complacency and contentedness with a product that never bothered to sand its rough edges down all the way. You didn't deserve all those dislikes, but there are a lot of neckbeards, incels, weebs, coomers, and 30 year old boomer trolls that have had to move in to their sisters basements, since their mothers died, hanging around IGG, and god forbid you diss anything they might own a miniature of.
I really want to agree with you on the "Soul-wannabe" part because a lot of them ended up nothing close to Souls game, but for the last few words? Go fuck yourself, imbecile.
Though you sir, craft hasty acts upon others charges lofty upon all brothers Yet whence thy words not mince and games as these, upon our mind prints A sweet flavor of mana dew that every adventurer yearns when he's new it's thee who sayeth please this let all be playeth We admit your boisterous contempt foregone In our minds this game, let all us fawn!
Been playing this for quite awhile, and it's a curious title, but one that's certainly well worth a look. Obvious Salt & Sanctuary and Bloodborne influences while still very much maintaining it's own identity. This thing has an all-pervasive, brooding atmosphere that goes on for days, and the 2D, paper-puppet style art is fantastic, with exceptional lighting. Everyone is catered for, so don't be put off by perceived difficulty - it has choosable difficulty settings. The biggest issues I've seen so far is the language. This game has not had an editing pass by anyone even vaguely proficient in the English language. There are spelling, grammar, punctuation and formatting mistakes absolutely every god-damn where. Hell, I'm not even sure the dev or devs even proofread their text. So if you can put up with that, it's not too bad at all. EDIT: Since I wrote this mini-review, I've come across a bug that triggered immediately after loading a new screen - I fell through the terrain, and got stuck behind some level props. Only way out was to reload a save. I'm sure they'll fix it, but make sure you save regularly, just in case.
Great 2D , action , RPG game , fantastic graphics , great sound , amazing visual effect , excellent atmosphere , A lot of epic bosses' fight , very satisfying balanced between difficulty and its character's upgrade , but it only need to make its control better to be one of the best game in its genre in this year . Hope They will that soon . thanks a lot IGG for this game .
One of those rare games who just REFUSES to recognize my controller.
Very few.
This one and Black teh Fall.
