The voices sound so...bland and boring. Like the voice actors were barely trying. The "death game" is way too complicated for its own good. Unfortunately, this story is a hard pass for me.

I read the news tab on the game on steam and one of the update on September 10th the creator temporally removed the English VA's because their dialogue was messed up and spoiled the game. It was added back in a few days later so i guess the patch uploaded her is from then. I could be wrong but that's what I think happened.
I was "waiting" for it before it's release. Then it realised and the negative review just make me afraid especially one where the guy have like 60 hours on it. People were expecting danganronpa /zero escape but seems like this is trash
Also it's almost entirely because of bugs that have already been patched. I wouldn't give that Jayden review too much credit when you compare the other negative reviews almost exclusively citing the bugs. His opinion doesn't have to be yours.
