it's the literal base. they changed the cicrles for gear to sqaures, got the upper left slightly touched up to match the character they paid an artist to design over. the animaitons and move sets are identical . same rigging, same bones, etc etc
yeah the ham-fiest ecchi content pretty much secures it's price point. i do know they hired an artist to guss up the main char a bit, and probably to add H-scene CGI as well. it's fine, just a super mediocre zelda wannabe. and genshin impact already fulfills that goal

Pretty sure there was another earlier game (and a sequel) I could no longer remember the name which was VERY SIMILAR like that, judging by the animations of the rope-bound girl and that horrible inventory UI. I could bear with the 'outdated everything' that game had, but what made me lost it was the instakill-lava-or-spikes-platforming bullshit it always had towards the endgame.
