unfortunately I experience the same problem and the only solution that I discovered to fix it is uninstalling the game then install it again using the files on this site then after that updating using the patches provided on this site and yes you have to update all the patches otherwise it will detect the wrong version if you skip a patch

I'm gonna write a review in a form of real life story, here we go! Started it up, spent 12-15 hours so in game and finally got my shit together.. I joined Vlandia, helped they take over a castle, and he gave it to me! My fief, my beginning! Started organizing my kingdom and just as I left to get more troops 650 Northern Empire guys are about to take it back, my Castle! I somehow managed to fight them off and the rest of t heir 200 forces got taken care of by my Derhert king and his 800 friends! I joined with my lousy 40 men. As all my good men were wiped out I went for a trip to gain new fresh recruits to train and help protect my new started castle, the beginning of my great time as ruler. Two days away to get my favorite Vlandian troops I figured I should max out my troops to 150 to bring back to my Castle but as I had just acquired 80 new fresh recruits there stands another 700 man strong Northern Empire soldiers camping outside my Castle doors. So I hurry back with my really questionably weak army and I lost about 16 of them just for entering where as 8 of them were of my good cavalry units, and pretty much made my whole run useless to say the least. We have another fight, A good long fight and I alone took down a whole bloody lot, so much that my fingers hurt, in real life even! They retreated and....... Gathered up again with the remaining of their 250 some troops against my 30 or 40 so and got my ass handed to me. Utterly crushed. I spent the 20 seconds or so stirring blankly at the screen unable to really think properly and then it was like I somehow got possessed and hit alt + F4 four times, three quick solid times and the last one after a little pause. Started coming back to normal with this lingering somewhat cozy feeling of rage inside me I decided that this game is not for me, I am not masochistic enough and uninstalled the game. If I lived happily ever after? Who knows... The End...

I do not recall if you can temporarily join a faction as a mercenary in Bannerlord, but if so, that is what you should do in most Mount & Blade games instead of outright joining in. There will be less rewards initially, but once you can pummel hundreds of troops by yourself then doing so with an army at your back will be even easier.
Finally, as a matter of fact, these games take a lot of time to master. Believe me, as much as I enjoy Warband and it's mods the simple fact is that grinding is a massive part of them.

wrong. bannerlord has been released as "early access" and after 1.8.0 patch, the game status has been updated as "beta". ( Early access -> Beta -> Full version -> DLC -> expansion pack etc.)

i got this game by slowing downloading every link from this gog version of the game and decompressing it into an iso file and running the installer, making sure to read EVERYTHING beforehand. then doing the same steps for each version of the update.

There is a lot problem with this version. Sometimes 10 minutes, sometimes 3 hours later game crashing and the save files get corrupted. Thought that the files were corrupted. I downloaded it again a few times and tried it but still have the same problems. Also they say blacksmithing bug is fixed in original version but this version still has the same bug. Uninstall the game, and install whole update again this is common issue. But biggest problem still unsolved is update 1.7.1 to 1.7.2. If you manage to installed to 1.7.2 Congrats. If not, either play 1.7.1 or download from other websites. Update 1.7.1 to 1.7.2 is so broken
the update for 1.6.3 patch 3(the 9 gig update) doesnt seem to work at all, says that updating but after an hour or so still no change in progression bar.
each update is a zip file, unzip it and you will see 3 folders, this ones are from the UPDATE v1.6.4.288289:
the first one says "v1.6.3.286135 to v1.6.3.286182" so first you need to install the older updates, of course only works if the game and updates are from this site, i dont know if from another source will work.
mmm weird, when that happend, while very very rare, i do this: first y try to disable antivirus, sometimes can stop a "suspect file", but for this one that didnt happen. Second is re-download the file, but i only needed do this like 4 times in 20 years of piracy. But is harder if no message warns about a problem. Maybe unistall, then delete anything related to the game, then run some program to clean the windows registry (like ccleaner o glary utilities) and then reinstall?
I tried everything the problem seems to be the this like "temp.tmp" file comes and goes comes at 0kb and immediately goes and I have allowed with my antivirus even removed and tried it seems to be the same result re installed everything even got the files from others sites first seem to work all that the sma problem with "temp.tmp" not extracting for installing idk
After installing the game, DON'T forget there is still the update folder left in the rar file. After updating, only then can you use the other update rar starting from 1.6.3 to 1.6.4.

You have to update it one by one. if the 1.6.3 update folder number 1 does not work, there is the update folder from the rar file with the base game setup. the folder is literally named "update".

So basically uninstall the game and delete every that left. Also to make sure no mistakes maybe agree on deleting saves files as well. (if you installed and played the game before)
Install the game on separate drivers. So if you installed in C drive, install the game in D drive. Surely you can install the updates now. If your C was SSD and D is HDD, you can just move the game. I don't recommend playing in HDD.
Okay the Update from v1.7.1.310948 to v1.7.2.314157 is not working. It just the installer just feeze on same spot. I checked Task Manager saw the installer come and gone. I already diactivate the antivirus. Already uninstalled installed again for second. The other updates are fine except for this.

its automatically locating the game folder, but sometimes weird shit happen with gog, so just incase put the patch file on the same disk or 'maybe' inside the game folder.
Do not use the patch, there is a major bug that prevents you from playing seiges right now. The menu where you spend influence to increase army cohesion does not work while you are in seiges now if you download the patch included here. Wait until a new patch comes out before patching this game. My game is broken now. TLDR: (patch 1.7.0.299494 breaks the game, wait until new patch)

Oof, thats hard, buddy. I was looked for smaller size and latest version anywhere but there's no single website that give a complete latest update file. The last version of bannerlord update was given is v1.5.0 somewhere, and nobody give update for each version after 1.5.0. 'Maybe' because of each major updates size are too big to upload (around >5GB) and dev always update the game each weeks. Or maybe because its early access game. Maybe you should look it up, maybe there's a website that i've been missed.
No you don't install it in parts. Download all the parts and once thats done. Put all the zip files into a single folder. Highlight all the zip files and right click and click extract here assuming you have a zip extractor like winrar or 7zip. Then wait for that process to be done and go from there. It will either be an iso (emulated disk) which you will then need to use a iso manager like daemon tools to install or it will be the raw game files.
Yes. You need to download every single parts. Some games have separated update link which YOU nEEED to download. Unless you want to play version 1.0.0.0
For people having trouble with the one update giving errors make sure you make the other files included in that folder not read only and to run it as an admin that worked for me.
Found out how to get all the updates to work, extract both part 1 and part 2 together using 7-Zip, then rename the folder to something small and the exe files should work. some smart shmuck decided to compile the rar with over the total file tree character limit of 255 characters
Honestly I feel people should least wait until 1.7 releases from Ebeta and then of course gets to here; there just so much lacking and to constantly want the tiny updates hea.. just seems silly-ish (know sometimes they fix big issues or add some nice stuff etc...)

Yep update 1.6.3 couldnt install cos the installer file for me didnt have .exe at the end,i changed it to "update whatever 1".exe as well as the batch files for each update sub folder,it worked after that and the one that is getting stuck actually finishes if you just fiddle alittle with the window😅...games running fine and i can see the optimisation changes.

Ok so I downloaded VCRUNTIME140_1.DLL and put the file into Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\bin\Win64_Shipping_Client and then it works. (I realized that it was the problem after trying to execute Bannerlord.native.exe which told me that it was missing) hope it will help people.
Btw I think the reason why the update won't work because of your launcher version is 1.6.2.283738 and the application for updating your launcher literally have a different version it says for the first file is patch_mount__blade_ii_bannerlord_1.6.2.284274_(50317)_to_1.6.2.284399_(50341) not entirely sure if its just me or nah
Just downloaded and extracted the updates, they all extract fine but as soon as I click the first update the launchable .exe icon becomes a blank white page of paper and nothing happens when double clicking or right clicking and running as administrator.
I also had this problem and checked when the file vcruntime140_1 is uploaded to the main game folder it works normally (\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\bin\Win64_Shipping_Client here)
At this point, you may want to update it to 1.6.2 once it is uploaded. Too many bugs/issues with it to continue: slow downs, stuttering, units doing hyperboles flying, wife staring....

As others like Hisuphola have suggested, you should definitely wait for the 1.6.0 update to be uploaded, but don't just wait for it! Go make an update request for the game under "Game Request" like I have, so we can make sure the admins know we want it!

I don't think it will work for cracks. Because they need to change some files/data etc. Maybe update is not enough to do the job. Heck I bet they will be more willing to just upload separated updates, save time than uploading whole game.
do NOT take this as fact, but I think Native is base campaign, BE is maybe another campaign not sure, and other is base game. That how 1st game worked (so you can add mod campaigns that then would be called w/e they were). Again don't take this as fact assume by now you figured it out yourself, more just for fun for me trying to test my memory.
To fix crashing on start, delete this folder: Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Modules\SandBox\ModuleData\Languages\CNs To make Online mod work, edit this file: Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\bin\Win64_Shipping_Client\Version.xml Change both versions to 1.5.9.270154 (as of today, this will break with the next update).
there is no setup file. You go to the these folders : Open Rar File - Open Folder - Open Bannerlord Folder - open bin folder - open Win64_Shipping_Client. You will find an exe there
On their request's page you can jot down the game version and the source of the game. They usually update them IF they have a copy with crack. If you tire of waiting just purchase a copy. In my case, I'd rather get a copy with all the good mods already included.

It works Fine without MMO .. Bc With MMO will crash Randomly ! .. Anyway 1.5.9 Doesn't Change much only some Performance improvements and add new cloths / Animations . With My Pc this update (1.5.9) works Fine on Windows 10 x64 / GPU GTX 750 Ti / CPU Core i5 4570 3.20 GHz on medium settings 1600x1024 Resolution and FBS around 52-57 if (disable Full screen Optimization ) Without Any problem.
it works fine, but, it's outdated version is 1.5.9 saddly can't and won't play `1.5.8 since the update has so many issue like freezes when you open any menu, and the fact that you need 1.5.9 to play the MMO mode
that might be an issue with your pc then, i played this 1.5.8 version for some 100h with 4 crashes. It's a lot better nad fewer crhases than before. as for MMO mode is, well, a mod for the game with around 400 people that can play on one server. it's native map but you have other people to play with just like singleplayer everything is same with few rpg elemetns and other people. A lot of fun though

so many crashing at this version v1.5.7.257988. Crash when leaving town/village, character wont showing up in map view. You keep surendering after battle, and it become endlesly loop.

Did you install the game correctly, disabling your antivirus? Some files of the crack get often deleted as they are considered virus (false positive) - also, did you check if you PC can run it, checking also your drivers and so on?
Most all IGG games do not have online playability because of how the games are cracked/patched....some have the ability to run on a self made server but most do not work right.....if you want to play online your best option is to buy it on steam or look for someone who has an online crack/server

I'm pretty sure out of all the early access games uploaded here, no one cares whether Bannerlord is early access or not because us losers who wasted more than half a decade of our lives playing Warband have been frothing at the mouth since Bannerlord was announced.
If you can't save the game and you can't execute the launcher it's because the cracked files were blocked by whoever cracked the game, so you'll need to unlock them with Windows Powershell. save issue- open using launcher.exe can't open launcher - Open your game folder, right click>properties dll files and unblock. do it on all dll files. tired unblock one by one- search unblock file powershell
download every part, with all the parts downloaded to a single folder, select one and unzip it. then mount the .bin file with some cd burning/emulating software and install the game. also don't make statements fueled by guilt and paranoia. No one here cares if you're going to buy it.

Just extract the .zip file somehwere, got to the extracted folder wich will probably have the same name of the .zip file with another folder inside with the name of the game. Then go to the bin folder, then to Win64_Shipping_Client and there is the laucher, its TaleWorlds.MountAndBlade.Launcher.exe And just ignore the other ass who can't explain things and bothers people.

Hey is the Bannerlord Launcher not actually launching for anyone? It is the only way to run mods from what I've seen. I already know you can run the base game using bannerlord.exe but the launcher.exe isnt working. Any fixes?

It's just a window that pops up when you suffer a crash. I always hit "no" when that happens (once every day or so of gameplay), open it up, hit "no" when it asks me to play in safe mode, and carry on.
That error means that you have corrupted files or you are playing with unsupported mods. Try removing mods and see what mod makes your game crash. If you are not playing with any mods and still game crashes. Try reinstalling the game or look on google for any help. Or check the top comment here at igg Bannerlord for some error fixes
The 1.5 is here, but i will never dowload 7 parts, gona wait on the torrent. In older versions i could play perfectly, idk why in the 1.4.7 i could'nt save it.

dont care i can download it in 20min tops. but the 1.5.0 has a lot of fixes and added stuff that I saw in notes and I hope it will get here soon, especially because of snowballing issues that are plaguing the game since it came out. i had to refund same day i bought bannerlord since it was so broken and now it's a bit better but still easy to gather money and countries die really fast in game
yeah, problem is that they don't always update it unless someone asks for it, and I as of now don't know how to check if the latest update is cracked :/
It really should get the latest updates pretty soon, the game came out 4 months ago, and the update is 3 months old, meaning there's only a month worth of updates in this version, and 3 months of updates lacking... I understand not wanting to keep updating an Early access game with daily updates, but there have been HUNDREDS and a few extremely major game changing one's... It would be pretty nice if they updated it soon in the future.. :/

Not surprised they stopped updating the game with this Early Access garbage being updated with a new patch daily. They just can't keep up. Best to just wait for the final version of the game sometime next year.
why are part 1, 2, 3, and 7 from mega are under different name from the rest? winrar also says that a file from part 3 and 7 each are corrupt even after i redownload it. probably this is why i also cant play the game
i've been busy with work. today i had the time to check the size. the update with the most compatible method (which is simply extract in folder to apply the patch and not the .exe "setup" method) is around 40 GB probably 30-27GB Compressed with these sizes it's best to wait for a full updated release here on IGG
the game has daily updates, it's in Early Access, and they can't just keep on updating it, so I understand the break, but it's been 3 months since the release of this version and hundreds of meaningful updates and bugfixes making the game actually playable...
I am always having problems with downloading from those sites. Why can't they just add the files on an easy location to be downloaded instead of having the split them and force ppl to go via sites where you get popups or whatever. For some reason i am not able to download anything as my pc protection blocks it. I wish it was easier like back in time where you just had to go to a link and download an iso
Maybe because some websites puts limit for each files can be store in one links. To prevent smuggles like games. Of course it is my speculations But you can download ISO from torrent. There is igg games torrent. And you can just turn off your pc protections. Just google it ,bet there is solution for that.
To get the torrent info you alo need to pass through those website with a countdown and that are just those that give me problems. For some reason my pc tools warn me for dangerous website or something like that. :/
On your PC's Documents folder, look for the Bannerlod folder and inside it look for engines_config,txt file which is located on a subfolder named configs. Edit the config file, look for "cheat_mode = 0" entry and change 0 to 1 then save. Cheat should now be activated
Does someone know why i do not have the steam launcher in the bin folder after extracting all the files? I unblocked the compressed files first, turn of my anti-virus. re-downloaded, but nothing. It seams that i have all of the other files in the bin folder, except for the 2 steam launcher files (what i saw from screenshots in the comments)
Is the game here already patched to the latest version now? I mean if I download the full game from this page again, do I still need to manually apply the patches? Also, are the previous lags and stutter issues in battles and on horseback fixed?

You obviously know nothing about these devs they always released their games early access that's how they get people's support and know what needs fixing. They've been making this game for years now and people have been asking it for years. No ones making to buy early access games don't like it don't buy it
Years ago they didn't do that - you had to wait until game was finished but at least you knew it was finished and working. i miss those times because now you have often developers that never finish a game once they get enough money
I downloaded a month ago, so i'm not sure if it's still the same, but mine was not an .iso, just extract and go to bin>Win64_Shipping_Client>_LAUNCHER_x64 and run the game
somehow after 3 days playing without any problems, the game crashes when i try to load a game or begin a new game, i didn't modified the game in any way, also i don't know where the crash logs are so i can try to identify why the game suddenly just doesn't work from a day to a another.. I will await the update and try again
Hey dude it is kind of usable but I havent personally figured out how to control the army with it. Overall I preferred it to mouse and keyboard and it is easier to fight with it overall but map movement is clunky at best and time consuming

hi, the game start to run, i got the videos normal, but after this the start menu is impossible to read and with "wrong" write on every items and more red than normal. do you know what happend and how to solve this ? i really Don't know what cause this, and i didn't find anyone with the same problem
That's the exact problem I had before I "fixed" my regional settings - the change of decimal symbol to "." (point) and digit grouping symbol to "," (comma). Check Featured comment (above) for details.

it was an outdated mod, apologies. I have the old cheering mod (I wanted to cheer along since warband) and I noticed that it mostly crashes when we are about to win
Download the 1.20 patch.. part 1 was fine but part 2 was so annoying because I cant seem to download it. Every time I tried to download the file it keeps failing at random times. I tried download part 3 and it was fine. Google drive is so damn annoying

No... however, it's simple do download from google drive and you do it at max speed, so I have no idea why people are complaining! If you have your own google account (gmail), you can just right-click the file and select "Make a copy" and if you have at least 5 GB available on your drive, it will make a copy there, and you can download it from your own drive - to bypass limit error. Repeat the step for other 2 files if you have enough space on your drive for everything, or wait until 1st download finishes and then delete/empty trash, and then copy part 2 and part 3. Once the files have been downloaded, right-click each of them individually - Properties, and click "Unblock" down at the bottom.
So... Quick question. Are there all the patches available for the game in the featured comment(prior to 1.3.0) because I tried to download it, did everything correctly, but then when I launched the game it said it had to delete shaders, and then would get stuck on the brightness calibration, and when I get past that, I try to load my save file, and the game just crashes. Any idea what's happening, because this really frustrates me as I can't find any other patches anywhere. If someone can help please do. Much appreciated and thank you for your cooperation. If the save files are from before applying the updates, i would not expect them to work properly now. A lot of people had such problems and lost their save files after updates. Well if you had a lot of progress and do not want to start everything all over I would search on nexus for some mods that increase renown gain. You just have to put the mods in the modules file of the game and then just apply a correct order when loading them in the launcher. You could also download the mod bannerlord launcher so that it saves your load order, so you do not have to keep making the same order over and over again as the normal launcher resets it. Either way, the trick is to have your biggest mods be last on the list, to overwrite everything that comes earlier. It should look like this:
Apply the patches. Updates contain performance optimizations. But I don't think you can run it at a decent frame rate with this configuration without a dedicated GPU. Good look anyway.
Alex Leonhart's Featured Comment up above has a link to his Mega folder (Bannerlord Patch list). There you can find the patch to 1.2 version, which you can apply from your current version. Download, extract and paste it on your Bannerlord folder. After that you can apply 1.2.1 patch in the same way.

did you apply the patches? i think there is a patch that solves the "steam api" but im not sure. -if you dont know where the patches is check the "Featured comment"

Thing is, where do I find that mods tab, the game doesn't have a launcher window(this cracked version) and I am pretty sure you are going to need it to activate the developer console. If you have a way to do that, then please tell me.
I have a problem, Bannerlord does boot up normal, but when I want to "resume game" it gets stuck and crashes. I tried to delete everything and download the torrent file again but I still got the same problem. Anyone that has a solution for this?
it is okay i fixed it somehow by Deleting all file in "(...)\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\Shaders\CoreShaders\D3D11" and now it is able to load into the game but every 30min it crashes and my prev version save games cannot be played anymore.
Good game! The game works well for me. with all e1.0 version ( e1.0.0 -> e1.0.10) except the multi, diplomacy and the end of the main quest (stop conspiracy)
so my problem is different i downloaded the game from torrent and after instantly patched 1.2.1 versin than runned the game my game runned problemless than it wnated me to do brightness calibration i did it but when i accept it my game crashes when i cancel it my game crashes pls help idk what to do

I stopped trying after I wrote that message. Then I just get the 1.2.1 patch files out and changed them with unpatched ones. Now game runs properly and almost perfect. Rarely crashes and that all.
In the feautured comment, by Alex Leonhart, there is a blue text "Bannerlord Patch list". Enter there and download from the folder OLD(ignore me) all the files there. They are rar and 7z format, extract them one by one in the game folder starting from the first 1.0.1 patch and finishing with 1.0.11. After you have done that. Go back to "Bannerlord Patch list" and you will see a readme file. In that file there is a link you can access to google drive with the next 1.2.0 update. Try to download them directly, if it does not work like that, just right click and select make a copy of the file, enter my drive, find the copy(which should be the first files) and download it and of course you should have a google account for that. After this download the 1.2.1 update Extract them in order again and that's it Now if you want to download mods, after downloading them from nexus, extract them in the modules folder(of course, extract what is in their modules, in the modules folder, not their modules folder in the modules folder of the game/ it will make sense once you get there), start the game from the talesword launcher and see that you put mods at the bottom of the load order, so as to not conflict with the main game.
Apparently I'm not the only one with this issue : Deleting all file in "(...)\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\Shaders\CoreShaders\D3D11" solved the issue. If you are looking to download this crack, I would recommand to wait for a new release. It's currently in a very messy state, the main crack is almost lighter than the updates and it requires downloads from sources not directly linked here...
I'm on a similar boat with the commenter above. Done everything needed to do just like he did but still getting application crash error. Can you tell me exact details how you successfully ran your game?
So pretty much this is what worked for me... I re-extracted the modules from the original with out the crack then I just added the 1.2.0 crack to reduce the files I changed then Im now in campaign with no issues
So basically I'm very fucked up rn (not entirely) After I grew up bigger, I finally thought that I can finally handle to form myself a kingdom... I just recently found out that you have to finish the main quest in order to form your own, which have a fcking limitation of 10 years! I have 1539 days right now and pretty far away from its expiration to revert back to my previous saves! If any of you wants to build your own kingdom, you have to hurry and finish the main quests within 10 years. or just search for the mod that removes the 10 year limit, I have found one but it's too late :')

i dont know what is the cause too, but i think the cause cant be identify is it still have leaked performance in the game, our comp isnt enough to run smoothly 60 fps cap of the game, or bcs its pirated version. after the 1.2.0 my gameplay still lag drop but its better than before.

Right click on the files in google drive, select make a copy, search for copy, download it. Fixed it for me. If that does not work, search "google drive bypass" as it was advised in the txt file as well
Don't waste your time with this garbage game while it is still in the Alpha stage. Just wait for the complete version to come out in a couple of years.

for me it always crashed at first launch after "fresh reinstal" i guess it has to something with creating settings folder at dokuments second launch was always ok
1.2 is just the beta content of last beta patch for the main non-beta branch. So you already have that content (and more) if you play on the latest beta patch.
thats exactly the problem why i using nexus vortex on mods it manages my mods, checking updates on them, when i do something wrong it says me what, kindy friendly app i must say... i set up mods there and then use normal launcher from game active mods and didnt had an issue so far
There is a mod that helps you to order mods but you can drag mods in the launcher. But without mod it resets everytime you restart your gme so I advise you to download it from nexusmods.

I don't really get it. If you have a stable version, patching it is straightforward unless your patch is corrupted. So there is no problem at all if you have stable version and the patch is compatible to your game current version.

It is the problem only when you cannot extract your compressed files. Something like this: "This file came from another computer and might be blocked to help protect this computer". So if you can extract the files, there is no need to worry though.
Okay, so for everyone as confused as I was: Very soon after release, since it's Early Access, Bannerlord started releasing patches, from patch 1.0.1 to patch 1.0.11. After patch 1.0.11 the patch versions split into 2 different branches: the Public branch and the Beta branch. TaleWorlds also claims to soon release the Alpha branch too. Now, how do they differ? Public branch is basically the "official" branch, meaning it's the more bug-free and stable/safe branch. Beta branch is a bit more "risky" but more forward with its content. Now important things:
they are being released simultaneously,
they have different versions. At the time of writing this comment, the Public branch is at version 1.2.1, the Beta branch is at version 1.3.0+Hotfix (hotfix is a quick fix of something that didn't work out; a very quick mini-patch/a patch of a patch) and the Alpha branch doesn't exist yet. The Alpha branch is supposed to be the more extreme Beta branch, more forward with content, but more unstable. So, now that you have the game without patches, at 1.0.0, you need to decide what patch branch you want to play on. Alpha - you basically become a game tester, playing the non-tested version, which will most likely crash a lot and be bugged as fuck. Makes no sense for y'all, since you guys stole the game files, you should probably avoid this branch when it releases. Yarrr. Beta - probably stable, more bug-free than Alpha, more forward with content than Public, but also more risky than Public. Public - the most stable and most bug-free. This is your safe bet, since you all should avoid risk, because any crash or unstable version means you need to meddle with the game files even more. So, now that we've decided that you should probably go for Public branch, where and how do you download the patches? Our good guy Alex Leonhart's comment contains a link to mega folder https://mega.nz/folder/wJQQnCZS#Q74G9KYaszzKego5e8pP5Q in which you can find all the old updates. We gonna ignore all of that. There is also a .txt file there that contains a link to his GDrive folder. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1x6jELlRZtxUc7bNUVroXqK66cxhbunAX This is the currently newest Public 1.2.0 All-in-one patch, which contains all the previous patches, meaning you can apply it to your game at any previous version with no bother. Be mindful though, it's 12GB, as 1.2.0 on its own is 10GB. However, if you want to play on Beta branch, you need to look somewhere else and search for the 1.3.0+Hotfix AIO patch (I wasn't able to find it while writing this comment). I strictly advise not to though, since it's too much work and too much confusion for a few days of being ahead of the Public branch. If you need info on the patches order, go visit TaleWorlds news, where all the patches are listed in order (you can see the branches splitting after 1.0.11 patch notes). So, long story short, grab this link (Alex Leonhart's GDrive): https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1x6jELlRZtxUc7bNUVroXqK66cxhbunAX and get the 1.2.0 AIO patch. After that, just follow his feed and check whether he posted any new Public branch patches. Hope this helped anyhow.
i have two banner lord game right now. One with beta patches and One without any (in Rar parts). i am planning to change to the stable one and delete the one with beta patches. Question: in Google drive of Alex. should i extract all parts at the same time? or should i apply them one by one? just to make sure.
Just google search for the update and pastebin and be patient with the torrent because everyone wants to download with the few seeders they have then you dont have to wait or worry about the useless download quota
dont worry my dude, alex said in the text u can just download and apply the 1.2.0 from any version of your game. so u dont have to download 1.1.0.. cuz i think 1.2.0 patch is an AIO patch

I'm kinda confused. That's cool that Alex Leonhart posted all the patches here, but objectively this is some shit explanation. I understand that from 1.0.0 I go to 1.0.1, then 1.0.2 etc. till 1.0.11. But when I have the game at 1.0.11 how do I update it to beta? Which updates do I install? What order? Help?
That makes a lot of confusion. If you want to update it to beta, there are 2 rar files for a total of more or less 7 Gb, you have to unpack them and install the beta via a setup. Then you have 1.1.0 Next, you have to update it to 1.1.1 and then to 1.1.2 As far as I know, Alex did not post any further update, although for sure there are 1.2.0 and beta 1.3.0, and I assume Alex is working on them. As Alex wrote on his most known post, "Credits for the patch to >> com1100 << i'm just merging files and uploading them on my mega", so not only we have to wait for him, but we have to wait for com1100 first, as well. We still don't know how to upgrade to 1.2.0 and we will see which instructions Alex will provide us. However Azatras, unfortunately sometimes you have to reinstall the game from 1.1.0 in order to update correctly. For instance, I had 1.0.10, then Alex uploaded 1.1.0 and I updated, then Alex uploaded 1.0.11 and I did not update it, since it was kinda a downgrade for me. But then he uploaded 1.1.1 and I needed 1.0.11 to install it properly. Unfortunately, the only way to update it correctly was to reinstall the whole from zero, because it is the only way to somehow "downgrade", up to now. So I suggest you to wait until they publish the instructions to update to 1.2.0, so that you don't need to (perhaps) waste your time, if you need to reinstall it from zero.

you may have virtual memory problems, got to system-advance and Change amount of virtual memory to "system managed" and don't choose amount for it on no drive, then restart and launch the game.
when i seige the town, even if i set lead a troops or send troops, always got crash, so i go update my data , one by one , from 1.0.1 until 1.1.2 step by step ( including 1.0.5 hotfix ) , but it got crash too anyone have the same problem?

no pal, the reason i like installing version, is that i think games can be installed better when they recognize hardware better, in installer versions that happens! but in copy version you just unpack once installed game in another PC whit another hardware Specifications!!! and you meant i say that because of laziness! but that's wrong and beside, because installing game is not easier than unpacking it!!
Not really sure how I could explain this but you could check the instructions for installation of mods from Nexus mods like this one https://www.nexusmods.com/mountandblade2bannerlord/mods/118 and it will give you great instructions on how to install the mods. You could also get some other mods that you would like.
manualy is bad idea....try nexus vortex app set your mode there enable them elevate them, then launch from folder, bcs nexus goes on steam and you will need some goldberg emu things which i didnt even understand whats going on :D vortex nexus app manage mods, ELEVATE (it sort your mods so they wont make problems on launch) game folder launch game wia talewords luancher active mods click play
Okay well i got past that point now i am stuck at when i click on the campaign menu it crashes. I did the intl.cpl thing as the pinned note says and that didn't fix it. I tried Custom battle and game works like a dream and smooth as hell but i cant start a campaign without crashing
I updated everything and tested every possible thing listed and that i can think of. Game works its just the link between the campaign button on home screen and the actual game seems to make me crash. I have been playing some custom battles since those work. and i can do settings and everything but that one button crashes the game As a side note before i launch the game it asks me to launch it in safe mode. When i say yes it takes me to brightness adjustment then game crashes. if i say no to safe mode it allows me to go to main menu and i can play custom battles but not campaign. Okay guys, now I'm at 1.0.11 patch done. So how do I patch the ( 1.0.11 to 1.1.1) ? You need to patch that before proceed to 1.1.2 right ?! There's 2 part and i already download it using one of the link given but not extract yet. Can someone tell me how to do it with simple explanation? I'm just dumb. Don't want to mess it up.

Dude, I would recommend wait for a stable version of patch, because in my personal experience, after patching to 1.1.1 the game simply crashed when loading a save/campaign. I sugeest you to stay at version 1.0.11 until the stable version patch released.
damn it. i see some youtube video to get all the performance max to the left and then the fps increased a little. it still laggy but overall its playable at least. well its best to have better performance, but i cant stand the lag anymore XDD
I just don't get it, until the 1.1 update when I started other than the native launcher nothing at all happened, now they appear in the background processes for a second before closing in on themselves, I really don't get why the game doesn't work for me other than with Native
if you try clean game (no updates) and you cant run talewordslauncher its vcredist netframework directx and drivers (one of them, for me it was vcredist or netframework i updated them at same try)
Without updates not even native works, I can use native launcher from 1.0.5 hotfix and onward, and yes also unblocked it all thru powershell multiple times, anything before that has my native launcher close itself in the loading screen and all others don't even get on background processes. And I already updated everything I could that was recommended as much as I can with win 8, hell, just reinstalled vcredist earlier.

Go to skidzrow codex and download the file from Main Branch
Delete old torrent file from torrent client. Attention: Do not delete game files.
Download new torrent file
Set download location as game folder. E.g: If the game path is “D:\Games\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord”, the download location should be set to “D:\Games” Your game files will be checked and will only download the update. Note that you dont have to redownload everything. As long as you set the download location same as game folder, utorrent will only download the new updates. Hope this helps.
Bad news, same here and I tried repatch and reinstall like countless times already thanks to that issue. Your only choice is reinstalling and patch up to 1.0.1.1 and no more.

Do not patch it all, just patch until 1.0.1.1 and wait for another stable patch, because beyond that version is all betas and very much like unplayable.
And run update from 1.0.11 to 1.1.1 as admin . make sure unblock your folder game and patch folder , and OFF your Antivirus. #Tired becoz read discussion same question while can scrol and read .
And please before extract/ install OFF your antivirus, i test and check every file to compare there will missing file due to on antivirus . and USE 7z to unzip . do not use winrar . dont know why but i notice some file missing to .

The game crashes after I update it from 1.0.11 to 1.1.0. It doesn't get past the first loading screen before crashing. Every previous patch, from 1.0.1 to 1.0.11 worked fine--this one doesn.t
I've done trials and errors for 10 hours reinstalling and repatching yesterday for every patches, and to me 1.0.1.1 is the only stable version, the rest is unplayable after patch. And btw do not apply hotfix for 1.0.1.1 since it will cause your game to be stutter and lag.
Where the hell is that mod menu option. When I launch LAUNCHER_x64 it takes me straight to the game. Where is that option. I tried opening the Bannerlord.exe and Bannerlord.Native.exe but they all just crash. Only the launcher works!

You Need to patch your game first, then go to Nexus or other site, instal the latest version of the mod, um block if it's blocked, extract then put it in the Module folder, to verify if the mod is added, open the launcher and go to mods, activate him and click play, you may wait a little for the launcher to work, but don't worrie it wont crash... The game will ask you if you want to play on other Modules, just accept it and be happy
Why my native still the old e1.0.0 while others updated? I saw the patch notes all should be updated but my native remains same. Dont just delete the save files. Delete EVERYTHING inside the Documents\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\ folder - the idea is to allow the game to recreate new settings files when you launch it. If it still crashes make sure all your files inside bannerlord installation folder are unblocked. And if its still crashing its probably because you failed to patch the game properly and in that case you probably have to do it all over again. EDIT: I've just confirmed the game needs updated Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable packages installed. Make sure you have all of them (both x32 and x64 for each package year if you have a x64 windows).
Already updated everything, problem still persist, even deleting all from document and programdata. I keep following the patch from the first to last except things that has BETA on it.
Thats odd, if you are doing exactly that then you should have no problems. Have you tried to run the game without any patches (v1.0.0) ? Try it, if it works then problem is somewhere on the patches. Try to update from 1.0.0 up to 1.0.11 and see if it runs as well. I have tried reinstall and repatch the game for like 10 hours yesterday and my conclusion is either the patch itself is faulty which I suspect came from hotfix 10.11 and the big patch 1.1.0-1.1.1 or something i have missed, and definitely not the gpu or net framework thing since it was all up to date.
When I tried the patch from 1.0.1 to 1.0.11 all works fine. The problem started when I applied hotfix for 10.11 and the rest patches, always crashing the game during first loading after main menu, and there is some textures missing too indicated by purple color.

definitely something went wrong, it's probably crashed during loading. Do not wait too long for loading the game, 10 mins should be enough to tolerate, beyond 10 mins then something went wrong.
Why does the Patcher produce a Backup File even if i didnt set a cross in the option for it ?? I deleted now enought data from my harddisk so that this stupid backup can get saved, but there is still the error divison by zero, what is the problem ??
it is so that when the patch process met some issue it can rollback your game data to a pre-patch state so you won't need to uninstall the whole game and reinstall it back again at least that's the idea but that division by zero problems, it seems your patching met some issue and it has rollback your progress by any chance, did you have a mod that's altering the main game files? something like fixed launcher, etc?
download the mods manually and put them in the modules folder. it should say exactly where in the mods description. then start with TaleWorlds.MountAndBlade.Launcher.exe
go to the nexus install the launcher vortes yous the launcher and locate the bannerlord launcher then install mods you want you will have to make an account to install them with the launcher then when you have mods installed with vortes yous the TaleWorlds.MountAndBlade.Launcher.exe to play with the mods you will have to yous that TaleWorlds laucher to enable the mods but its realy trile and error to make it work with a lot of mods of disableing them and enableing them I have about 30mods installed it it works fine for me

dude, you can backup your save and main bannerlord folder and try the 1.1.1 update. If your saved game works, happy for you. If NOT, just return to your backup. And keep playing 1.1.0 as long as you want, simple as that.
no, dont update to 1.1.1 yet, mine has problem with loading the campaign just like the unpatched version. wait for the normal one and play using the old version instead for the time being.

I think something wrong with your native patch. It should be the same with others(e1.0.11). May be download the patchs again or update the patch one by one then go in game it patch to see which crash?
I did patched them all one by one, no patch has been missing/skipped, but the problem persist, my native version still same like the screenshot above, I don't know what caused this but I'm sure I have all patched properly.

e1.1.0.225664 it's the Beta version e1.1.1 226038 it's the ''normal'' version i have two folders with Beta and Normal versions and i reccomend use the normal version, Alex Leonard reccomend it too, because is more stable and secure to run.
you need to install every update, since the first 1.0.1 till the 1.0.11 downloaded at the Alex's folder. Then you'll download the 1.1.1 update, part1 and part2, only extract part1 and automatically winrar will merge part2, creating an unique folder. After that, run the wizard and install the patch normally, don't need to move the files at ''PatchData'' folder. If you do all this in order, your game will run normally, but make sure as well that all your drivers are updated and directX, netframework, etc,etc,etc.

by any chance, do you have a mod inside that's altering main game files? if so, that's probably the issue. you need a clean install or there's some problem during your patching progress from e1.0.0 to e1.0.11 before you attempt to apply this e1.1.1 patch i also had the same problem being rollbacked during 1.1.1 patch. turns out i had a FIXED LAUNCHER mod, which alters the main game files. so i did a clean install, apply the same patch from 1.0.0 to 1.0.11, then used Alex's patch, and voila patch complete

ok so u can launch the game from TaleWorlds.MountAndBlade.Launcher and there switch to mods and you can see your current build. Tell me if u managed it it has like a singleplayer tab and multyplayer and under that its NEWS and MODS
Yes, it's a shader bug since the beta branch release I think. Try changing the shader settings to high, this will somehow fix the black texture and blue stripes you see on terrain of the map. Hopefully it helps!

the update from 1 to 11 just extract it 1 by 1 and replace eachtime. then copy paste all folder from that extracted to your banner lord directory simple as that. the patch to stable download 2 parts then extract it the 1st patch file only. then install.

Yes, you can. Just open the launcher in the folder of the game so you can activate your mods, you also need to launch the game from the launcher every time you wanna use mods. Of course, you need to install the mods first.

To extract something that has parts, just put every single part in the same folder (you may not neet to do that since every party usualy goes to the sabe "dowloads" folder when you do download it) and extract the 1 part somewhere, the whole thing will come, not the first part only. To aply patches you need to download the patch and then drop its contents on the game folder as well, both the modules and the bin need to be replaced, this will erase your mods seeing they go in the modules folder
They fixed most of memory leak issues with updates but it can still be there since it is stil Ea. If you didn't updated it then you will have a lot of memory leak problem.

hey Alex, you have 1.4.1 patch in there, but the Mission folder contained within "GUI\GauntletUI\SpriteParts\ui_group1" is empty. Is there any way you can upload that separately and link it? Or is it empty because it didn't change? If so, the fact the folder remains (and 7zip throws an error because of it being empty while copying over) is rather weird.

no, no more messing with beta It's the best choice. Download it again :s Patcher is sensible to files. you need the same files. clean copy + every patch to 1.0.11 to update to 1.1.1 for black texture you can try high shader graphic (or different graphic settings) someone fixed it by trying different graphic settings
because lot of people are confused and Devs are fast with the patches there would be lot of different patches

The Beta to Stable patch works fine with me! Able to resume and no crashes! I guess if I did everything correctly, your do work! I guess a lot of people jsut got confused with the ton of updates and made some small mistakes.

There's a 'backup' option from the 1.1.0 patcher(this version is beta, right?), are those the previous files before the patch was applied? if so, can I just paste it back for revert and just apply any missing patch for the 1.1.1?
this 1.1.1 isn't for beta version the best thing is to get a clean version and there won't be problems like downloading again the clean version in future, if we all stick to the stable(Probably ;d)

i saw your comment that your save is OK i'll answer for others too The saves should work fine on every version (a backup just in case, is always a good idea)
delete your saves and then start a new game if it crashes like that it means the saves are not compatible with the current game version especially if you were in the beta version so you will have to start a new

Bless you m8! Now I've been watching some youtube playtroughs and curently 1.2 branch is broken (even with hotfix). Yes AI plays better, yes performance is better, but all cities go bankrupt in 7 days, new item quality has stacking issues, companions/caravans get bugged when on their own and much more - which makes whole branch unplayable. Maybe you could wait for fixes before uploading this version, so you don't waste time/resources for something in this state. Cheers

Game at 1.1.1.You need to download every update before it, unlock them then put it in your folder one by one. But after 1.0.10 things get a bit complicated since you need to transate to the 1.1 there are sole updaters for it then there is hotfix and 1.1.1 update. There is also 1.2 beta but try to wait until it became main.
no, extract it first and copy just the content folder to ur game folder, one by one from 1.0.1 to 1.0.11. the first one (1.01) will do fine but for the next (1.0.2 - 1.0.11) u need to rplace it
So Alex Leonhart isn't supporting the beta any more so does any one know where I can find a 1.2 update download as even though it has more bugs it gives less lag on my 2 gb vram when doing battles.

yea just forget the Beta Alex Lionhart wont do Beta updates anymore its to much work to keep up with the beta updates so they will keep with the main updates now we just wait for the next Lionhart post with the knew updates

you got that because you need to install the beta and the hotfix then revert and then install this patch but you cant do that anymore since alex is re uploading everything you just need to install the game again and the patches up to 1.0.11 and just wait until alex posts the new shit
nop i mean that i won't support the beta To avoid lot of confusion and lot of different patches. So if you're in beta you probably have some different files from the Stable etc. practically Redownload a clean version is the best choice

re downloaded the game from IGG and applied all the patches till 1.0.11 to have a Clean Copy (or at least TO be sure to have a clean copy.. look like my backup wasn't Clean) making a patcher 1.0.11 to (directly)1.1.1

if your checking an old save file it will show the version last used in that save, so you will need to load into the game save over it then look at the version number
Make sure to Unblock everything in your Game folder (look at the featured comment for possible fixes) some version doesn't work for people mods could be another reason sometime

So we need 1.0.10 IF we want to apply the 1.1.0 BETA patch but we need 1.0.11 IF we want to apply the Stable 1.1.0 patch? You don't make that very clear, just want to make sure because I had a fully working 1.0.11 install and started crashing during the loading screen (launching the game) after successfully applying the 1.1.0 Stable patch + 1.1.1 hotfix - yes I'm pretty sure I did everything right. Now I completely uninstalled the game and started anew and I just noticed the 1.1.0 Stable patch seems to detect a "valid version" whether I have 1.0.10 or 1.0.11. So which one is it? I wish this patch was not installed through an .exe so I could easily rollback changes through Vortex without having to reinstall everything just to make sure everything is right... Another thing, please consider adding a Readme.txt for noobs on your Mega folder. Thank you for your work! Seriously, this game is keeping me sane during quarentine. Thank you a lot!
the 1.1.0 beta was released while there was the 1.0.10 patch for the stable version obviously i couldn't make a 1.0.11 to 1.1.0 BETA since there wasn't a 1.0.11 Patch. For that You need 1.0.10 to update to 1.1.0 BETA anyway ignore the beta since 1.1.0 is out on stable now (Beta removed) to avoid more confusion i won't upload the beta since The Devs are fast ,this won't be a problem (probably)

There are 3 versions Main, Beta, Alpha. Main is the stable version, Bate and Alpha are testing version. Alpha is not coming yet. So we have 2 versions now, Main and Beta. Your version is Main. So forget ONLY FOR BETA folder, you don't need it. The correct order is 1.0.0-1.0.1-1.0.2-1.0.3-------1.0.11, then 1.1.0, then 1.1.1. And the hotfix is for Beta version not for Main version. I don't know why Alex add "hotfix" to 1.1.1.

I just used my clean install copy... then applied each patch 1 by 1... Then placed the 2 -- 1.1.0 zips in the same folder... ran the patcher.... same issue of missing files.. patcher reverted again.... ?? Others have been having this issue too.
I think so --- The installer goes quick and says it couldnt find lots of files so it reverted (usually about 1min of the way through...) I can try do a fresh install 1 more time and apply every single patch again... but i feel the installer will do the same thing. Im very careful with how i install.

The BannerLordPatch 1.1.0 part 1 - zip file (uploaded 18/04). I was running 1.0.11 before... Just doing another clean install and going to apply all the patches again from 1-11 then run this patcher... will let you know if it says the same thing.
Edit: On a Fresh Install and then Fresh 1 by 1 patch... from 1-11 Everything was taken out of read only... and evyerthing is unblocked.... The installer still cannot find many files which ARE right there... which is odd. I checked for the files it cant find but they are there and in the correct directory.

yes, the hotfix is included but the one for stable version the folder with patch 1.0.1 to 1.1.1 is for the stable version the folder is named bannerlord stable

To everyone, think like they are 2 diferent games Base1(Stable) -> patch based on stable Base2(Beta) -> path based on beta the numbers may be confusing because they are moved from these base versions to another. Meaning: right now: Base1(Stable) -> 1.0.1 to 1.0.11 and then stable (1.1 to 1.1.1) Base2(Beta) -> 1.2.0 beta (when its ready it will be converted by the devs to 1.2.0(stable) to make it easier for the future i think they should append "b" or "s" to the version number to know wich base version it belongs.

Assuming you have just the main game from the article (no patches/mods) and you are trying to launch through the right file (_Launcher.exe OR _Launcher_x64.exe) then what you probably need to do is to unlock all .dll files inside the installation folder. Windows10 default security settings can block and even delete some cracked files automatically, so first things first you should probably disable Windows Defender permanently (google how to do that). Then look into this page on how to unblock multiple files at once with powershell: https://www.404techsupport.com/2016/06/24/unblock-files-powershell/ Finally if that still doesn't help you, try to download and use Goldberg EMU to launch the game.
Sorry for the late reply, theres nothing else i can say to help you other than telling you to check if you meet the minimum spec requirements for the game and make sure you have fully updated Windows and GPU drivers. Just one thing I noticed (though I highly doubt it has to do with your problem) - you have the game installed inside "Mount & Blade II Bannerlord" which is inside a folder called "Mount.Blade.II.Bannerlord" - you shouldn't do this. It probably isn't the cause of your problem but remember that some windows apps detect files that end in ".something" as 'files' (not folders). You should never install anything in a folder that has "." (dots) in it - just in case. I hope you have got the game working by now cause its an awesome game! Good luck and good gaming! EDIT: Completely forgot something obvious, you probably need some Visual C++ redistributable packages for this game and I recommend you to install them ALL (including both x86 and x64 versions - if your windows is x64). You can check which ones you have on your program list within Control Panel. There are packages for 2005,2008,2010,2012,2013,2015,2017 and 2019. For each year theres a x86 and x64 version (again, you need both). You can find them on the official Microsoft site, or you can download a batch pack with all of them here: https://www.techpowerup.com/download/visual-c-redistributable-runtime-package-all-in-one/ If you decide to install the all-in-one pack you must first uninstall whichever versions you currently have and restart your computer.
1.2.0 seens to be quite broken right now, with cities without any money and some other issues, you guys should not be worried about a patch to update to 1.2.0 so soon.
1.1.1 was uploaded as beta but seems very stable, and the most recent. 1.2.0 seems to be a great patch fixing performance issues a lot, but not uploaded yet.

you need to download the torrent apply patch 1.0.10 go in game create save file then apply the beta 1.1.0 update check the verify hash and save backup boxes and then install the beta hotfix like you installed 1.0.10
Sometimes there are multiplayer crack out there, or sometimes the multiplayer just works, but in this case I doubt the multi will work and I don't think there are any multiplayer cracks.

Thanks for the reply, I have been applying patches one-by-one till 1.0.10 before the beta. There was no block box to untick which should be normal. I can play the game through bannerlord.exe, just could not make the launcher to work.

1.Download patch. 2.Right click on BannerlordParch.rar> Properties> UNBLOCK. (Unless u do this, it won't work.) 3. Decompress 4. Paste patch Modules and Bin folders in game folder. Replace. 5. Apply them in order i.e 1.0.1 to 1.0.2. 6.Repeat steps with every .rar 7. Stay in 1.0.10.
Try replacing the patched spitems.xml for the original one. Path: Modules\SandboxCore\ModuleData. It fixed my game when i updated to 1.0.7. Or, run bannerlord.native.

the best thing you can do is -Download the game (Only from IGG since my Betapatch is based on this version and my patches) -apply every update 1.0.1 ,1,0,2 etc... and stop at patch 1.0.10 if you want to apply the Beta or if you don't want to download the game again try to apply all the patches again(1,0,11 excluded)

@Ex@Exeo:disqus the newest patch/hotfix doesnt appy to 1.1.0 its only available to 1.0.xx. If you apply the newest hotfix to beta you break your game. So it's either 1.0.11 or the beta version 1.1.0 thaz you can play
I guess what they meant with beta hotfix is that they made a hotfix for bugs based on what players reported in the beta. If you look at the patch notes you can see that the hotfix only has bug fixes that came out in the beta before already
At this point, my advice is to refrain from updating to the beta branch and wait until the hotfix. There are a lot of bugs. For example, you cannot attack bandit hideout now, otherwise it will crash.

If you used any mods I would suggest a clean copy. I remember that I had the "canvas.png" error too. I tried many things but in the end only a clean copy solved my problem.

missing steam api 64 means you didn't apply the patches starting from 1.0.1 anyway uploaded 1.0.10 with the GUI files since i don't understand why people are missing files. Re-download

I did, I applied every single patch that came out before beta, I can only really play on native anyway but the patches allowed me to play the game on native at least, before then nothing worked and native crashed on me(the 1.0.5 or 1.0.6 hotfix specifically got at least native to work for me) Fair fair, I'll also apply the newest patch once I've redownloaded Bannerlord I don't really wanna push my luck again honestly, trying beta so I don't have to play on 1.0.0 broke the game for me
I am not able to get mods to work. I am on 1.1.0 but this happened even before i updated to the beta build. so i updated the game all the way changed to goldbergs emu, and then got some mods from nexus. but when if i hit run in vortex it opens steam. if i open the launcher for the game itself the mods dont show up. Anything i did wrong or forgot to do?
For manual use; upload the mods in the Modules directory, after using the launcher and before pressing Play button go to the Mods tab and activate the mods that you want to use. If you done all that and no luck then maybe the mods you are using aren't compatible for that release of the game.

eating 6gb of ram is pretty low on what it was used to be, it was almost eating 8-16gb. and this game has a minimum of 6gb and a recommended 8gb. so yeah you are pretty much at the minimun load of ram.

I had the same problem. First I deleted the mods but still got the same error. So I made a complete new install of the game and patch it with the previous updates (from 1.0.1 to 1.0.10). After that I did install the 1.1.0 beta patch without any problems.

Oh sorry my bad. When I said to make a new install I meant to make a new copy after I deleted the existing one (the game already comes as installed so we only need to copy it to where we usually install our games). Also I run the game form Bannerlord.exe or TaleWorlds.MountAndBlade.Launcher (this are in the same folder as LAUNCHER_x64). You can also look for Alex Leonhart post (further down) for a better and more detailed explanation. He is the one who uploads the updates for this game most of the time.

POSSIBLE BSOD/PC FREEZE FIX: Alright, after playing for around 30 min new Beta patch, my comp just froze, had to reset it... started game again, same deal... disabled all mods, same deal... After that, I right-clicked bannerlord.exe and launcher.exe (the one with long name), went to Properties, compatibility tab and set it to run with Windows 7 compatibility. Already ~24 hours of play time, 0 crashes/BSOD's. Please, do this only if you get freezes! Not if game just crashes to your desktop - that's a different type of error.
When I try to extract with 7zip it just says "unexpected end of data" I must have done something wrong but everything has been fine until I downloaded the beta and attempted to extract it. Do I have to reinstall it?
Question how do you know in files,properties or in game your game version? if its 1.1.0 or whtvr? i checked in right click > properties > details. the version of the game is not there even in the start/main screen of the game.
just download it all patches from 1 to 10 in leonharts mega. then extract it 1 by 1 then copy paste the bin and module at game directory. after that download the beta from leonhart extract it 1st zip file patch then install.
Not a bug. They changed how fast you gain skill levels because it took too long before. So these are the points that match your EXP amount in Beta. If you would start a new game and played untill you had the same amount of exp you would also have these additional points.
if you run the .exe you can see that it ask for the game folder. so, you don't need to move it to the game folder, use another folder to a void confusion and install it

true seems to work fine with Goldberg all you need is the steam_api64.dll from Goldberg as there seems to be NO DRM as of yet on the files If you remove all the SmartSteamEmu files it launches fine even with mods from the simple launcher NOT the Launcher that was in the game folder maybe post again to the top of the comment list
That just sounds like your antivirus deleted the .exe file, just unquarantine the file from your antivirus and make an exclusion, or, if the antivirus deleted it instead of quaranteening it, just redownload the .exe file only. Please do not make these comments unless you are 100% sure that it is a problem, and if you are unsure, just ask.

Started it up, spent 12-15 hours so in game and finally got my shit together..
I joined Vlandia, helped they take over a castle, and he gave it to me! My fief, my beginning!
Started organizing my kingdom and just as I left to get more troops 650 Northern Empire guys are about to take it back, my Castle!
I somehow managed to fight them off and the rest of t heir 200 forces got taken care of by my Derhert king and his 800 friends! I joined with my lousy 40 men.
As all my good men were wiped out I went for a trip to gain new fresh recruits to train and help protect my new started castle, the beginning of my great time as ruler.
Two days away to get my favorite Vlandian troops I figured I should max out my troops to 150 to bring back to my Castle but as I had just acquired 80 new fresh recruits there stands another 700 man strong Northern Empire soldiers camping outside my Castle doors.
So I hurry back with my really questionably weak army and I lost about 16 of them just for entering where as 8 of them were of my good cavalry units, and pretty much made my whole run useless to say the least.
We have another fight, A good long fight and I alone took down a whole bloody lot, so much that my fingers hurt, in real life even! They retreated and....... Gathered up again with the remaining of their 250 some troops against my 30 or 40 so and got my ass handed to me. Utterly crushed.
I spent the 20 seconds or so stirring blankly at the screen unable to really think properly and then it was like I somehow got possessed and hit alt + F4 four times, three quick solid times and the last one after a little pause. Started coming back to normal with this lingering somewhat cozy feeling of rage inside me I decided that this game is not for me, I am not masochistic enough and uninstalled the game.
If I lived happily ever after? Who knows... The End...
One key feature of these games (Bannerlord, Warband, Mount & Blade in general) is that no faction by itself has the strength to achieve supremacy. This means that you as a player have to make the difference, which means you have to grind like hell before you formally join a faction and can command fiefs and armies, otherwise you will have less opportunity to do so due to having active duties interrupting you when you are doing whatever, all the while your enemies will be super-strong and super-skilled. Yes, it is absolutely possible to learn on the go but... It is harder to do than as a freelancer, and much more likely to end up as in you own case.
It sounds counterintuitive, but newly conquered fiefs are actually some of the worst rewards you can be given - they are at the greatest risk of being retaken by the enemy or taken by third parties, and you need the resources to reinforce your own troops.
I do not recall if you can temporarily join a faction as a mercenary in Bannerlord, but if so, that is what you should do in most Mount & Blade games instead of outright joining in. There will be less rewards initially, but once you can pummel hundreds of troops by yourself then doing so with an army at your back will be even easier.
Finally, as a matter of fact, these games take a lot of time to master. Believe me, as much as I enjoy Warband and it's mods the simple fact is that grinding is a massive part of them.
Maybe someday, you will miss the day when you ruled the land with a shiny sword on your horseback.

the first one says "v1.6.3.286135 to v1.6.3.286182" so first you need to install the older updates, of course only works if the game and updates are from this site, i dont know if from another source will work.
After installing the game, DON'T forget there is still the update folder left in the rar file. After updating, only then can you use the other update rar starting from 1.6.3 to 1.6.4.

Idk if this work for people that only have 1 driver, but if you got 2 or more this maybe helps. But you single driver people can try.
So basically uninstall the game and delete every that left. Also to make sure no mistakes maybe agree on deleting saves files as well. (if you installed and played the game before)
Install the game on separate drivers. So if you installed in C drive, install the game in D drive.
Surely you can install the updates now.
If your C was SSD and D is HDD, you can just move the game.
I don't recommend playing in HDD.
It just the installer just feeze on same spot. I checked Task Manager saw the installer come and gone.

With My Pc this update (1.5.9) works Fine on Windows 10 x64 / GPU GTX 750 Ti / CPU Core i5 4570 3.20 GHz on medium settings 1600x1024 Resolution and FBS around 52-57 if (disable Full screen Optimization ) Without Any problem.
as for MMO mode is, well, a mod for the game with around 400 people that can play on one server. it's native map but you have other people to play with just like singleplayer everything is same with few rpg elemetns and other people. A lot of fun though

can't open launcher - Open your game folder, right click>properties dll files and unblock. do it on all dll files.

then mount the .bin file with some cd burning/emulating software and install the game.

Each mod has instructions on its description, I think, but generally you have to unzip the files on Modules folder.

If you have your own google account (gmail), you can just right-click the file and select "Make a copy" and if you have at least 5 GB available on your drive, it will make a copy there, and you can download it from your own drive - to bypass limit error.
Repeat the step for other 2 files if you have enough space on your drive for everything, or wait until 1st download finishes and then delete/empty trash, and then copy part 2 and part 3.
Once the files have been downloaded, right-click each of them individually - Properties, and click "Unblock" down at the bottom.
You just have to put the mods in the modules file of the game and then just apply a correct order when loading them in the launcher.
You could also download the mod bannerlord launcher so that it saves your load order, so you do not have to keep making the same order over and over again as the normal launcher resets it.
Either way, the trick is to have your biggest mods be last on the list, to overwrite everything that comes earlier. It should look like this:

They are rar and 7z format, extract them one by one in the game folder starting from the first 1.0.1 patch and finishing with 1.0.11.
After you have done that. Go back to "Bannerlord Patch list" and you will see a readme file. In that file there is a link you can access to google drive with the next 1.2.0 update.
Try to download them directly, if it does not work like that, just right click and select make a copy of the file, enter my drive, find the copy(which should be the first files) and download it and of course you should have a google account for that.
After this download the 1.2.1 update
Extract them in order again and that's it
Now if you want to download mods, after downloading them from nexus, extract them in the modules folder(of course, extract what is in their modules, in the modules folder, not their modules folder in the modules folder of the game/ it will make sense once you get there), start the game from the talesword launcher and see that you put mods at the bottom of the load order, so as to not conflict with the main game.

If you are looking to download this crack, I would recommand to wait for a new release. It's currently in a very messy state, the main crack is almost lighter than the updates and it requires downloads from sources not directly linked here...
I re-extracted the modules from the original with out the crack
then I just added the 1.2.0 crack to reduce the files I changed then Im now in campaign with no issues

Very soon after release, since it's Early Access, Bannerlord started releasing patches, from patch 1.0.1 to patch 1.0.11. After patch 1.0.11 the patch versions split into 2 different branches: the Public branch and the Beta branch. TaleWorlds also claims to soon release the Alpha branch too. Now, how do they differ?
Public branch is basically the "official" branch, meaning it's the more bug-free and stable/safe branch. Beta branch is a bit more "risky" but more forward with its content. Now important things:
At the time of writing this comment, the Public branch is at version 1.2.1, the Beta branch is at version 1.3.0+Hotfix (hotfix is a quick fix of something that didn't work out; a very quick mini-patch/a patch of a patch) and the Alpha branch doesn't exist yet. The Alpha branch is supposed to be the more extreme Beta branch, more forward with content, but more unstable.
So, now that you have the game without patches, at 1.0.0, you need to decide what patch branch you want to play on.
Alpha - you basically become a game tester, playing the non-tested version, which will most likely crash a lot and be bugged as fuck. Makes no sense for y'all, since you guys stole the game files, you should probably avoid this branch when it releases. Yarrr.
Beta - probably stable, more bug-free than Alpha, more forward with content than Public, but also more risky than Public.
Public - the most stable and most bug-free. This is your safe bet, since you all should avoid risk, because any crash or unstable version means you need to meddle with the game files even more.
So, now that we've decided that you should probably go for Public branch, where and how do you download the patches? Our good guy Alex Leonhart's comment contains a link to mega folder

in which you can find all the old updates. We gonna ignore all of that. There is also a .txt file there that contains a link to his GDrive folder.

This is the currently newest Public 1.2.0 All-in-one patch, which contains all the previous patches, meaning you can apply it to your game at any previous version with no bother. Be mindful though, it's 12GB, as 1.2.0 on its own is 10GB.
However, if you want to play on Beta branch, you need to look somewhere else and search for the 1.3.0+Hotfix AIO patch (I wasn't able to find it while writing this comment). I strictly advise not to though, since it's too much work and too much confusion for a few days of being ahead of the Public branch. If you need info on the patches order, go visit TaleWorlds news, where all the patches are listed in order (you can see the branches splitting after 1.0.11 patch notes).
So, long story short, grab this link (Alex Leonhart's GDrive):

As far as I know, Alex did not post any further update, although for sure there are 1.2.0 and beta 1.3.0, and I assume Alex is working on them. As Alex wrote on his most known post, "Credits for the patch to >> com1100 <<
i'm just merging files and uploading them on my mega", so not only we have to wait for him, but we have to wait for com1100 first, as well.
We still don't know how to upgrade to 1.2.0 and we will see which instructions Alex will provide us.
However Azatras, unfortunately sometimes you have to reinstall the game from 1.1.0 in order to update correctly. For instance, I had 1.0.10, then Alex uploaded 1.1.0 and I updated, then Alex uploaded 1.0.11 and I did not update it, since it was kinda a downgrade for me. But then he uploaded 1.1.1 and I needed 1.0.11 to install it properly. Unfortunately, the only way to update it correctly was to reinstall the whole from zero, because it is the only way to somehow "downgrade", up to now.
So I suggest you to wait until they publish the instructions to update to 1.2.0, so that you don't need to (perhaps) waste your time, if you need to reinstall it from zero.
I will not download the update from anywhere else.
I only trust you.

I tried Custom battle and game works like a dream and smooth as hell but i cant start a campaign without crashing
I have been playing some custom battles since those work. and i can do settings and everything but that one button crashes the game
As a side note before i launch the game it asks me to launch it in safe mode. When i say yes it takes me to brightness adjustment then game crashes. if i say no to safe mode it allows me to go to main menu and i can play custom battles but not campaign.
Dont know if that will help anyone to help me but thats all i got after doing patches and working on this for almost 13 hours to actually fix this but no luck

vcredist netframework directx and drivers (one of them, for me it was vcredist or netframework i updated them at same try)
And I already updated everything I could that was recommended as much as I can with win 8, hell, just reinstalled vcredist earlier.
E.g: If the game path is “D:\Games\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord”, the download location should be set to “D:\Games”
Your game files will be checked and will only download the update. Note that you dont have to redownload everything. As long as you set the download location same as game folder, utorrent will only download the new updates.

Well my looks like this. Dont minde the mods :)
If it still crashes make sure all your files inside bannerlord installation folder are unblocked. And if its still crashing its probably because you failed to patch the game properly and in that case you probably have to do it all over again.
EDIT: I've just confirmed the game needs updated Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable packages installed. Make sure you have all of them (both x32 and x64 for each package year if you have a x64 windows).

Make sure you have at least 25Gb available space on your main hard drive as well as the hard drive where you installed the game - just in case. Run "Bannerlord Patch.exe" as admin and confirm if the patch was sucessfull (the patcher displays a message at the end).
From this point on, if you crash launching the campaign then its gotta be some missing requirement on your part. Update GPU drivers, Microsoft Visual Redistributable packages and .NET Framework.

it can rollback your game data to a pre-patch state
so you won't need to uninstall the whole game and reinstall it back again
at least that's the idea

if so, that's probably the issue. you need a clean install
or there's some problem during your patching progress from e1.0.0 to e1.0.11 before you attempt to apply this e1.1.1 patch
i also had the same problem being rollbacked during 1.1.1 patch.
turns out i had a FIXED LAUNCHER mod, which alters the main game files.
so i did a clean install, apply the same patch from 1.0.0 to 1.0.11, then used Alex's patch, and voila patch complete
at this time, the latest patch is: e1.1.1 226038
-So I Download part 1 ran the patcher and patched it like that, and that's it i think .... i have no idea, works so far.

i had a problem where the launcher wasn't starting and fixed it by removing Bannerlord Tweaks from moudles folder
...\Documents\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\Game Saves\Native
To aply patches you need to download the patch and then drop its contents on the game folder as well, both the modules and the bin need to be replaced, this will erase your mods seeing they go in the modules folder
update to 1.1.1 :
-Download a fresh copy (higly recommended if you come from Beta)
-apply 1.0.1 , 1.0.2 , 1.0.3 , 1.0.4 , etcc... 1.0.11
-Extract update 1.1.1 in a folder And Make sure that you have at least 20GB before installing the update to avoid Errors
-Run BannerlordPatch.exe and choose the Game directory(the one containing Bin,data,modules,gui etcc folders) and start.
Tested on a fresh igg copy + 1.0.1,1.0.2, .... to 1.0.11 patch and then 1.0.11 to Update 1.1.1
Right Click->Open Properties for each update-> unblock -> Apply the update
if you don't have "unblock" you're fine, just apply the updates
Make a backup of the saves (always usefull)

Patcher is sensible to files. you need the same files. clean copy + every patch to 1.0.11 to update to 1.1.1
for black texture you can try high shader graphic (or different graphic settings) someone fixed it by trying different graphic settings

Now I completely uninstalled the game and started anew and I just noticed the 1.1.0 Stable patch seems to detect a "valid version" whether I have 1.0.10 or 1.0.11. So which one is it? I wish this patch was not installed through an .exe so I could easily rollback changes through Vortex without having to reinstall everything just to make sure everything is right...

Just doing another clean install and going to apply all the patches again from 1-11 then run this patcher... will let you know if it says the same thing.
Everything was taken out of read only... and evyerthing is unblocked.... The installer still cannot find many files which ARE right there... which is odd. I checked for the files it cant find but they are there and in the correct directory.

added a Patch to switch to 1.1.0 Stable
removed beta 1.1.0 (it's useless now)

the folder with patch 1.0.1 to 1.1.1 is for the stable version
the folder is named bannerlord stable
so i am coming from beta, so i download and update:

in that order and install part 1 and 2 like i did for beta, then copy hotfix 1.1.1.

Base1(Stable) -> patch based on stable
Base2(Beta) -> path based on beta
the numbers may be confusing because they are moved from these base versions to another. Meaning:
right now:
Base1(Stable) -> 1.0.1 to 1.0.11 and then stable (1.1 to 1.1.1)
Base2(Beta) -> 1.2.0 beta (when its ready it will be converted by the devs to 1.2.0(stable)
to make it easier for the future i think they should append "b" or "s" to the version number to know wich base version it belongs.

Windows10 default security settings can block and even delete some cracked files automatically, so first things first you should probably disable Windows Defender permanently (google how to do that). Then look into this page on how to unblock multiple files at once with powershell:

Finally if that still doesn't help you, try to download and use Goldberg EMU to launch the game.
Just one thing I noticed (though I highly doubt it has to do with your problem) - you have the game installed inside "Mount & Blade II Bannerlord" which is inside a folder called "Mount.Blade.II.Bannerlord" - you shouldn't do this. It probably isn't the cause of your problem but remember that some windows apps detect files that end in ".something" as 'files' (not folders). You should never install anything in a folder that has "." (dots) in it - just in case.

EDIT: Completely forgot something obvious, you probably need some Visual C++ redistributable packages for this game and I recommend you to install them ALL (including both x86 and x64 versions - if your windows is x64). You can check which ones you have on your program list within Control Panel. There are packages for 2005,2008,2010,2012,2013,2015,2017 and 2019. For each year theres a x86 and x64 version (again, you need both). You can find them on the official Microsoft site, or you can download a batch pack with all of them here:

2.Right click on BannerlordParch.rar> Properties> UNBLOCK. (Unless u do this, it won't work.)
3. Decompress
4. Paste patch Modules and Bin folders in game folder. Replace.
5. Apply them in order i.e 1.0.1 to 1.0.2.
6.Repeat steps with every .rar
7. Stay in 1.0.10.
Or, run bannerlord.native.
-Download the game (Only from IGG since my Betapatch is based on this version and my patches)
-apply every update 1.0.1 ,1,0,2 etc... and stop at patch 1.0.10 if you want to apply the Beta
or if you don't want to download the game again

I found it from another torrent web site. It contains all game files. So you should add torrent and recheck all files. It'll download ~100mb.
It works from Bannerlord.Native.exe and other old launchers don't work.
(I use Kaspersky and it didn't find anything.)

I am almost certain that I never had the first and second files in the game from the beginning. For the 3th one I don't believe that any mods would change that file but I can't be sure so if you or any one could provide a clean "spitems.xml" (one after a clean beta 1.1.0 update and without mods installed) I could test if mods are the problem here. I seem to have a bug(?) where I press alt and just cant see any information whatsoever. No units shown no information about the settlements etc. Is that a mistake on my part?
After that, I right-clicked bannerlord.exe and launcher.exe (the one with long name), went to Properties, compatibility tab and set it to run with Windows 7 compatibility. Already ~24 hours of play time, 0 crashes/BSOD's.
Please, do this only if you get freezes! Not if game just crashes to your desktop - that's a different type of error.

so, you don't need to move it to the game folder, use another folder to a void confusion and install it
they work 100% since i downloaded them too
