Wow... They literally ripped off the design and gameplay of Zombies ate my neighbors ? Anyway, since I prefer 2D than 3D, I guess I'll stick to the original games. Edit : after all, I tried it. Controls are clunky and feel imprecise. A.I. seems actually more dumb than in the original games. Gameplay is different in a bad way. Saving people is not as convenient as before, and everything takes more time. Too many animations which you can't control, which feel unnecessary. (the hand-to-hand "combat") As for graphics, it's actually a big step down from the original pixel art. Deleted. Gonna be honest here, that's a really dumb reason not to try it. Are you ACTUALLY scared or are you just being dramatic, loosen up and play the damn game lol.
Its more like not wanting to waste precious hours on a game which is going to leave a bad taste, but you're right. Nothing ventured nothing gained. Lets do this!
Same here, but my curiosity about this is killing me...I think I'm gonna try it out! EDIT: Well, I can see where they're trying to go, and they're definitely familiar with the material they're paying homage to...I actually decided to take a chance and buy in on this in hopes they reach their goal for a great Zombies Ate My Neighbors inspired game. I'm hoping this turns out great like The Long Dark and not drag on with little to show for the time like Project Zomboid.
