I know the chance of anyone reading this is small, but i have no one else to ask: after doing those 3 missions they "reset" to me, instead of letting me go on the game keeps showing the same 3 missions on the list of things to do, as if i did not had done them, anyone has a solution for this?
It may have been fixed with an update at some point, but there is the Choice of Games (the publisher) forum where you could ask on the thread for it. Technically Steam's discussion board, too.
I imagine you may already have the answer to this, but for future reference- the choice of games forum is free to post for anyone. There in particular they can't tell what games you do and don't have, and where you got it from (steam, or elsewhere). Just don't tell them you're pirating it :p
This game still have bugs, and some are serious, including game crashing. It has a great story, but this is the first time to get a text game with so many bugs, i know the author is creating a sequel, but the way this one is im not hopeful.
Dude the game updated are depend on cracker not IGG. Even if they saw your request but don't have the updated sources, they can't do anything about it.
The thing is the updated version, ala part two, is complete and part three is going to be out soon. Problem though is that the part two, which has been requested/demanded of, isn't getting updated.
Its good that are still having updates, but i did replay the game there are still bugs, its the first time i played a text game with so many issues, despite that, thanks for keep updating it here too.
I finished the game once without many problems, but then i tried to replay it as a Tremere and this time the game showed several bugs, a few times after the meeting with the prince a bug that crashed the game and one that appeared as the game had ended and "broke" my game too. Asides from bugs, its a fun history, thanks for sharing the game, hope there´s a update someday.
Word of warning : this version (1.0 from 09/26) has a few game breaking bugs that prevent progress past a certain point. Update requested. Other than that, it's a really cool game, buy it if you can !
You guys know there are hundreds of different games to suit your needs? I think it's a really good game but it does have some glitches which need to be updated. Just click to the next game since you don't like reading.
But Vampire: The Masquerade is still mainly text even to this days. VtM is a PnP (tabletop if you prefer) roleplaying game. So the main series is books and paper character sheets, and dice rolls. Even the Game Master/Dungeon Master in VtM is called Storyteller. This game is closer to VtM than a 3D action RPG computer game (like VtM: Bloodlines games). So the title is pretty acurate.
Every time I see the name "Vampire Masquerade" in the title, my heart skips a beat. 😄 Can't wait for the next "Bloodlines" game... I'm waiting for this 1 000 000x more than Cyberpunk 2077.
Interesting, Coteries and Shadows of New york both were visual novels. This one is purely text based. Of course that shouldn't make it less enjoyable if the writing is good. Anyone try it yet?
Choice of Games has really good interactive fiction as a whole, and this one is exceptional. If you like the atmosphere of VtMB, I'd say you would like this. The only hang-up you may have is it being all text.
Bloodlines had an impeccable voice acting cast, I'm pretty hooked to that game because of it and maybe this spin off thing won't have that charm... Still I've yet to try it, like you.
I'd recommend at least trying it if you like the writing and atmosphere of Bloodlines (especially since it's at no cost to you here). At least from what I have read, this fits in fantastically, but I am completely fine with it being only text since I enjoy this publisher.
A bit late but I hope it helps
your request but don't have the updated sources, they can't do anything
about it.
Quality
ok this is not funny using that title for this shit ¬_¬
