I have a problem with vr. Vr doesnt work under any circumstances. I try to open steam vr nothing happens. I tried alot of things but vr still doesnt work. If anyone know the solution to play vr, i beg you plesase tell me. I bought a headset to play this game in vr.

Can you just put it in the game files themselves? There isn't any "Fix" for the game's voice recognition other than fixes relating to the devices instead.

looking at your folder name, you are using an old version of phasmo (0.3.0). the current one is 0.4.1.3 (although the latest one cracked is 0.4.1.2). you could try downloading the newest one and try then

you can change where to download stuff in the browser but if you don't have enough storage then you can't unzip it (at least with winrar, winrar stores the temporary on the C drive)

Well, everyone in my friend list has a different solution, everybody needs to launch the game once on administrator and accept the firewall, then launch it normally. Some need to do this with the game on the main disk: 'C:', the others need to do this on an other disk: 'D:' etc... But sometimes both solution don't work for some of them, I'm lost...

u can change it easy,just follow my steps,go in ur folder where is phasmophobia downloaded,then u will see file Settings>Account_name>delete FreeTP.Org,type anything what u want,then go in left corner file>safe and u can exit this notepad file. Enjoy
could be corrupted game files. for example if you tried installing any mods or just accidentaly deleted a file (windows defender could delete it too). another reason could be corrupted SAVE files. my phasmo did the same - closed itself. i deleted the save files in C:\Users\YOU\AppData\LocalLow\Kinetic Games\Phasmophobia, ran the game and it worked
If you get a file asking for a password then you downloaded the wrong thing. Sites that have many ads and redirects can make you download the wrong thing. Check so the folder doesn't end with something like .zip.rar

Yes, to my experience it does save your current progress (both level, money and items), it probably is connected to the steam user or some appdata files.
In order to use voice recognition / microphone in Phasmophobia, make it sure that you put that game to other drive. When i start the photon launcher it says that there are 900+ people playing on that server but when i join it says for example: population: 11 rooms: 3 but there are no servers? Is this a bug or is the game just simply dying?
this says 900+ people on all versions of Phasmo. few days ago it was wrong version 2.10.0 , now they fixed it and u need to download new version 2.10.1. u just cant play with people with different version
Okay guys I figured out how to get multiplayer on the new version. I noticed the new version had way less files than the 0.28.6.5 , and that's because its missing the multiplayer files in the base folder. So what I did was copy the missing multiplayer files (dlllist.txt , Launcher.exe , OnlineFix.ini , OnlineFix.json , OnlineFix , OnlineFix64.dll , PhotonBridge.dll , all the SavedScreen png files , steam_appid.txt , and winmm.dll from 0.28.6.5 to the 0.29.6 game folder. There are currently 5 files in the base folder of 0.29.6 and after you copy the mutiplayer files from 0.28.6.5 base folder, you should have 21 files in all. Than you just launch the Launcher.exe and you should be able to play multiplayer on the new version. I tested it out and was able to play with some random on the new map. Btw dont forget to change your name.

it's saved on another folder and doesn't get deleted even if you delete the game data(the name is in the game data and does get deleted) even if you buy the game and launch it it would stay in the same level and money
download part 1 and 2 put them both in one folder and extract part 1 start game from the exe your savefile should be the same as the one in the last version
I have had the problem where phasmophobia didn't hear me and this is everything I've learnt about how to fix it: you have to launch launcher.exe without administraitor. but the game won't let you do that if your game folder is on your main drive(drive c. the drive that has the windows logo) if you don't have 2 drives you'll have to make something called a "partition drive"(its when you take one drive and make your computer think its two drives) and put the game on the second drive. how to know if phasmophobia can hear you: get into the phasmophobia audio setting open the test option and check if it says "voice recognition is set on your pc correctly"(look at the added picture: https://ibb.co/xftMBt6 ) if it shows this sentence but the game still doesn't hear you than the problem is in getting the audio to phasmophobia not phasmophobia itself(in computer settings or the mic) BTW- I suggest going to phasmophobia settings-->pc settings-->local voice chat button-->turn off (this will make it so your friends always hear you when you're nearby without having to press V. you'll still need to press B to turn on global/far away voice chat). ill be happy to try to answer more questions when I can
I had the problem with voice when i first played it. Everything I done was to use correct microphone I have it on Driver (C) , I start it with administrator and it works. Voice test in lobby doesnt work (mic works good in game)
Sorry for the misunderstanding but what I mainly talked about was the voice recognition(like spirit box usege, the voice recognition test and quija board) other people should still hear you if you have the game on Drive (C) and launch with administrator

Soo, the "Give us a Sign" test isnt working, I exactly know why, it is because the game, the launcher and / or steam was started with admin rights. Just check that everything is getting started normaly without any admin permissions But I have a problem, when I try to start Phasmophobia without admin rights it gives me a error: "Launch the game with admin's rights."
You gotta have windows 10 for voice recognition to work type in how to fix voice rec phasmophobia. Also you gotta make your operating system in eng cuz it aint working in other languages
you have putted the game on your system main drive which is the reason of why it asks you for admin rights which is also another thing that this game self doesn't want you to give it so to fix this just make sure to put the game's folder on any other drive rather than the system main drive and if you don't have any other one just make sure to create an partition drive, this thing is been going for awhile now and there is a reason of why online fix me still keeps it.

Part 2 extracted is exactly same size and same files as part1 (13GB)... also quite a few subfolders... how does this make any sense to drag n drop.. u d just completely overwrite part 1... anyone have this issue?
youre supposed to put part 1 and 2 into one folder and extract part 1 open the extracted folder and start the game from the launcher exe thats basicly everything you have to do

yea the multiplayer is working just start the game from the launcher exe and be sure to select the same server with your friends create a lobby and send them the lobby code they have to insert the code when they want to join the lobby and thats it
When i press connect in the launcher nothing happens. the launcher just disappears. Put the game in a separate drive. The reason why it doesn't work is because you run the game as admin. However when putting the game in a different drive you don't have to run as admin, I recommend the D drive.

For those who get crashes at 90% when entering the game, there is also a fix on the site of the people who made the launcher which you need to take. Just follow the FAQ they provide on the site for the option without torrent and search for Phasmophobia. follow CNT1's guide, short answer if you cant find it you need to move the game to a drive that isnt your C: drive. move the game folder to a different drive. if you don't have a new drive, open command prompt, enter "subst W: [game location] replace W with a letter other than C, your game location should be the full folder your game is in. to make it easy, put the game folder on your desktop, open the folder, and copy the path, for example, your path may be C:\Users\youraccount\Desktop\Phasmophobia subst W: "C:\Users\youraccount\Desktop\Phasmophobia" is an example of what you put in the command prompt. quotations around the path is sometimes required. open the W: drive from the "This PC" folder and launch the game as you would, test the voice recognition and see if it works
ummm yea but i have my game on my e drive, that is not a virtual drive btw edit : nvm, i just changed disc and it worked for some reason, i mean it wasn't on my c drive so i dosn't make any sense

my game can load ahead of 90% but then i start to teleport everywhere my fps are 200 and im not lagging its stuck in a rectangle teleportation loop in the lobby i tried restarting the game multiple times but its glitched
For those who have problem with the 90% loading error, do this Go to %appdata% then go to LocalLow then find the folder "Kinetic games" and delete everything inside there... it worked for me, if you're not too sure, make a copy of those files...

Now, normally I go through this comment section responding to people all the time fixing their issues but I've stopped recently mainly because I'm waiting for a new online patch.
To clear things up, Coolphobia does NOT work on the latest version 176.28, it only works with version 174 and only SOMETIMES.. I beilive the Photon Servers have been updated for 176.28 for the Photon Launcher which is why coolphobia is having issues. Either use the PhotonLauncher or wait for a new version of Coolphobia or something new like Coolphobia.
I tried the older version of Phasmophobia (v174) using Coolphobia and I was able to connect to a server and create a lobby for me and my friends but none of us were able to connect to the Voice Chat - it kept saying "True/Disconnected". Also I tried using both Coolphobia v0.4 and v0.5.1 and both gave me the same problem. Is there any way of fixing this voice chat issue?
I've downloaded everyting and launched the game through steam, but when I launch coolphobia as administrator, it gives me this error message : "failed to find mono.dll in the target progress". I had already played an older verison of the game before with coolphobia and had no problems playing the game... I also reinstalled the lastest version of coolphobia... I don't know what to do...
beacuse the newest update of phasmophobia dosen't use mono anymore, the ersion of coolphobia you are using is outdated, not sure if there is a new one tho

yes, that one uses mono for the injection, as i said mono isn't used anymore so the creator of coolphobia if he still works on it needs to switch onto il2cpp. won't work even if you have 5.1

Guys, I managed to get it to work in MP and DON'T use Coolphobia Actually, you don't even need to download part 2 DOWNLOAD JUST THE FIRST PART and extract it wherever, it's working.
Tylko że jak wypakowywujesz part 1 to automatycznie ci wchodzi part 2. sprobuj se wypakowac part 1 nie mając na komputerze part 2. Nie uda ci się. A poza tym - przecież wszędzie tutaj piszą że nie działa coolphobia z tą wersją. Zamiast coolphobi uruchamiasz launchera online-fix.
So you have to have steam launched. Then go to menu, select play, and create private server. In the top-right corner, there is a little eye icon. click on it, and it will show you the code. send it to your friends. They have to click play > join private server and paste the code there. But when you are launching phasmophobia, there are 6 servers to join in the photon launcher. You and your friends have to join the same server. And you could have a little problem with joining, or your friends could have the problem with joining you. Then go to the menu, click play and there it says "EU". Click on it, and select some other server. Then come back to "EU" and everything should work fine.

After they join the server, they don't see any servers, or can't join my private, but we are on the same slot. And yes, they have got steam launched. My friend reinstalled the game completely and removed old save, but still have that problem. Can they fix it?
I was told mics do work but I dont think so, I even tried adding a steamapi.dll to the folder and it didn't work, if the mic did work it would say in the mic test something around "Your mic is set up correctly" also the problem of all the servers being full but that's not steam unlocks problem, its online fix me's problem

I was playing with my friends with the previous version(0.174) using CNT1 guide. (Thanks a lot!) We played for several days until Coolphobia voice chat doesn't work anymore. When we connected to the AppID and click the "Connect to Voice Chat". Instead of the ending line of True/Joined, we kept getting True/Disconnected. Any help or do we need to download the new version? Does coolphobia still works there?
Creating new PUN servers doesnt work either. The only thing that sticks out is the fact that if u spam the join button it says ''Connecting to master server''. Maybe its Coolphobias fault?

We will need to use the Photon Launcher that comes with the crack, Coolphobia no longer works and I have a reply to someone else which explains why I think it no longer works: "I'm no expert with Mono or Unity but after some self digging, I've figured out Phasmophobia no longer uses Mono but now uses IL2CPP an alternative to Mono. Coolphobia uses a Mono Injector and because they no longer use mono, coolphobia's injector will no longer work. We'll have to wait for someone to make a IL2CPP injector if that's possible or find some alternative. For now though, as o typing this the Photon Launcher's server aren't jam packed full so you can use that for a while."
Ohh i see, that's why i see "failed to find mono.dll" on the command. You said that we can use the launcher.exe from the folder for going online ? But there's no way to join that server, everytime i refresh it just 1000/1000 :/
You can use the Photon Launcher that comes with the crack, the issue with using them is that it could be slow/laggy or all the servers may be full. Only alternative for now..

When I launch the game with the photo launcher it always crashes when it reaches 90% and all it says is that phasmophobia has stopped responding. What do I do?
I have a problem, I can speak with Ghost in Tutorial or while playing alone, but when I join friends (or they join me), I can speak with 'em, they hear me, I hear 'em, but ghost can't hear us, sometimes he reacts to "Give us a sign" with flickering lights or opening doors, but that's it, Can't use spirit box (after a question it won't show "Nothing Detected" [ and yes, we're alone and in total dark when asking] ) or Ouija board.
they need to use the coolphobia luncher as well,don't worry it's possible and not hard,but from our experience you need to use discord becouse voicechat doesn't work

Hi, Have a little problem, I did everything right and played with 2 friends However, the game recognizes my voice, but my friends can't hear me and I can't hear them as well. My voice is working with the game, but not with my friends. We checked the voiceIP, they have the same Voice IP, but I have a different one, but we don't know how to change that. So everything is working, we played together without problem, it's just the voiceIP who doesn't want to change I don't know why
you need too extracked it into a different hard drive other then the C drive if you just extracked it on the C drive and run it administater it will brake the mic i do not know how too get the mic working with only one hard drive at this point hope you found this use full
that is exactly what i have problem with. when i go to settings i see my mic is working but in game wont accept it. i tried 23459160 times btw. and im using built in mic on my laptop. cant be broken becouse i see sound coming in. game just wont use it so i dont know.
you dont need to connect to vc for that, thats for joining servers also your mic probably doesnt work, you should check on discord or some app that uses your mic and plays it back to you
I was regarding the Online-Fix site, to grab the latest edition of the game it required a login to get access to the link. The game has now been updated.
When me and my friend join a game I can hear him but he can't hear me. The voice recognition works and it says True/Joined for both of us, I'm not running as admin or off of my c drive
Dont download the whole game again, Just wait for the updator. Or you can just download another updator. In their website. But it's russian. Highly recommended a translator. There you can download the updator. But there might be a problem. You can't see other player's username nor can you hear them. (That was my issue once I updated the game)
Hello I have a friend where everytime he launches the game and relaunches he always gets offline on the public games, he cant join any private match etc.. (He has coolphobia and other things etc..)
I downloaded the game yesterday and it worked normally, but today when I try to start from the launcher it gives a "Chosen server is not for that game" error, do i need to update something?
There is a new version of the game, as well as new files for the game, so the servers were updated to fit the new version. You can either wait here to get them sooner or later, or if you have solid BS detectors and know how to avoid viruses/ADS, ho to online fix, and search for phasmophobia, and download it- install it.

To Play in VR mode you need to download SteamVR and just play it have fun. Oh and remember to play it from your virtual desktop because SteamVR may not detect the VR and play it in the classic mode.
Well, i solved my C: problem by using an External Driver. But, the problem is everytime i launch the Launcher (online-fix) and enter on a server the launcher launchs itself back. Soo i just keep opening the launcher without stop. I can`t enter inside the game... Make sure you are all using the crack, with the latest version of Coolphobia from my guide. Also try @disqus_rmeKJNJj5Y:disqus's idea by changing the region in the lobby selection.
For everyone who just download this game. Don't follow the instruction above. It hasn't been updated. Don't use coolphobia. You don't need it. Just download the game like usual.
Extract all parts into one folder
Run "Launcher.exe" while STEAM is open at the same time. If you don't open steam, the loading will stuck at 90%
When you run the launcher, it will give a list of server. You can connect to all of the server. But I recommend the first 4 ones.
If the server is full, just keep click connect. You will be connected after a few times.
When you're in the game, you can play like usual. You can play alone or with your friends. NOTES : DON'T RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR. THE MIC WILL NOT WORK. ALSO, DON'T EXTRACT YOUR GAME IN DISK C. USE THE OTHER DISK.
I wouldn't recommend using the PhotonLauncher as their servers can be pretty full and laggy. I suggest for people to use coolphobia in which I have a fully detailed and updated guide that explains how to get it all setup as well the current featured guide is outdated.. (0.4 -> 0.5.1)
Yes, the server can be pretty full. But if you keep trying to connect, eventually you'll be connected. Even though it takes 2 or 3 minutes of trying. This method works for me and my friends, but I don't know about anyone else. So, I reallly appreciate that you can give them another method they can use.
I do prefer Coolphobia as it's your own server so it's never full and from personal experience the Photon Launcher's servers have been pretty laggy but like you've said it does work. If you don't mind could I link this guide on my Coolphobia guide as an alternative if people want to use the Photon launcher instead?
Can you make the Coolphobia loader have an official link? Because I dunno where I can update the servers for coolphobia for versions 0.176 or above to play with friends. And we are stuck playing in v0.174.
ur game is installed in ur c drive gotta put it in another drive. if you dont have another drive, youtube how to make a new simple volume partition of 14 GB from your c drive, make it a P drive for (phasmophobia) extract phasmo to the new P drive, and then your mic will work :)
my mic works in discord, and my game is on B:, the game detects my voice in the settings and private sessions with a friend, but when i join a public lobby, i can't be heard anymore
Ensure it's not on the C: drive as windows will require you to run it with administrator on the C: drive. If you only have 1 drive and that being the C: drive then see my fixes guide which shows another way around it.
Okay so, i downloaded everything and everything words just perfectly. However i want to play the game in VR with multiplayer. Unfortunally i cant interact with the coolphobia menu. Not in vr, not with mouse and keyboard. Not even in the oculus virtual desktop thingy. It seems the game wants it to be exclusivly focused on the game while in vr. Does anyone know a fix for this?
I currently do not know the fix for this, I made the updated guide but not the program it self so the developer will have to release an updated one or someone will have to find a way around. Everything is working fine, even the coolphobia launcher, but I can't create private rooms and it seems there aren't any rooms. I am lost, please help.
Make sure your game path has no weird characters, and if there are none try extracting to a different place like another drive and make sure it's in a folder and not your Documents, Downloads, Music or any place like that, make sure its a new folder created for example on your desktop. If you extract the game to somewhere like your Documents, Downloads, Music, etc then it may read the game path as Documents and not for example C:\Users\exampleuset\Documents.
Theres no point in downloading as currently there isnt a way to get the voice recognition to work which is really the whole point in having the game so just wait for it to be updated

The featured guide is simple yet outdated, and explains how to get the old version of Coolphobia which is an alternative to the photon launcher the crack comes with. People have had many issues/problems with the photon launcher though, so people try coolphobia but the featured guide is outdated and gives most problems. I've done everything I was able to in this guide. Also, I put the game on my D: drive and it still won't let me launch it without running as admin, otherwise my game gets stuck at 90%. People can hear me in game but for some reason the ghosts can't lmao
The game NEEDS to be ran without admin, and that sounds very odd that it still requests to be ran as admin. I suggest you create a virtual guide as shown on how to fix the run as admin issue in my Fixes guide (not my coolphobia guide).
Make sure you start Steam before you start the launcher. If it still gets stuck, wait 2-5 minutes and if it loads, lower your graphics. If it doesn't load, launch it as admin, lower your graphics and try without admin again.

When I launch the Photon Launcher I see no servers and error box "Unhandled exception" "An error occurred while sending the request.", It was working before, i changed nothing, i quit phasmophobia and launched it later, it suddenly stopped working, my friend who's game still worked told me that the servers are almost empty so it's not only for me. There is no update for this game yet. There is a single developer for this game. It has huge community so just be patient since its 1 guy on this game.

The guide was very easy to follow so thanks for that :D. But i have one issue with the game and it is the same that @Oskar Makuch had. My friends have different Voice Chat ip and I can only talk with one of them. What's interesting is that we both have to go into training and leave in order to play and we have the same voice chat ip. But the other two can play right after opening the game and they also have the same ip but it's different from us. I've tried creating other servers and all that but nothing works :/

We can join the room and we have the same IP but voicechat doesn't work. When we try to disconnect and reconnect it then just says 'joining'. We have same version of the coolphobia and the game. We do not run this program as an administrator. We have removed PhotonBridge.
I suggest try creating a new Private or Public lobby in your server or create an entirely new server all together. Can I ask what version of Coolphobia you are using?

Hmm, the IP for the Voice chat should all be the same for everyone. This issue is the first that I've seen, are you all using the crack or are some of you using the officially purchased one from steam?

While Trying to open launcher it didnt show any servers and it said: An error occurred while sending the request. This happened While i havent done anything with the app. I was playing it for a week normally and this happened. Thanks for help.
I think I understand what's going on after reading this, you didn't follow my guide on how to setup coolphobia correctly.. You have to remove PhotonBridge.dll from the dlllist txt file or delete the PhotonBridge.dll file it's self from the game folder. Not doing this will request for you to join a server with PhotonLauncher before launching the game, removing the DLL file fromt he game directory or the txt file will get rid of this restriction.
@ubumbadawisugbemugbemossas:disqus you're using the outdated guide xD, the Featured Comment that tells you how to setup coolphobia is outdated as it uses the old outdated version of coolphobia which connects you to premade servers like the PhotonLauncher. The updated version allows you to create your Very Own server, but you need to use the latest version of coolphobia. I have a guide that explains how to get it all setup and how to create your own server instead of connecting to premade ones like in the photon launcher or the old coolphobia.
You'll need to do it through your pc, lift up your headset once in-game and head to your PC. Launch coolphobia, connect to your photon server and when it's all done go into VR by just pulling down your headset.
You'll have to try different ways to get around that as this sounds like an issue with coolphobia which wasn't made by me. Are you using the Latest version (0.5.1) from my guide or the outdated one from the outdated featured guide?

Make sure your using the latest version of the crack 0.174, also if you have modified your appdata or anything in regedit that may be the cause of the save file not actually saving.

Running the game with wine gives an error of not being able to load winmm.dll even though it is there BTW when I run wine Phasmophobia the game opens up but gets stuck at 90 % loading and when I run wine Launcher I get the error BTW It does say it needs 8gb min ram and I have exactly 8 so that could be the problem

My friends don't see any servers. They tried it with only the launcher and then with coolphobia, but nothing works. Whenever they use coolphobia, they can enter the game, they see they are using unofficial servers but when we try to connect it says "Server mismatch". Any ideas how to fix this?
Hey me and my friend both have this problem, the game opens normally we go to open coolphobia and it connects us to the server but then when we press play and try to open a room nothing happens, additionally population is like 10 and there are no rooms available
If you used Listy600's featured guide, then you've done it wrong.. if you read the comments you should have seen its outdated that guide. See my guide on how to PROPERLY install the Latest version of Coolphobia. Hey, a friend of mine tried following your guide, but when he tries connecting with the app-id, it just shows false, and when he starts coolphobia, it shows a different ip then the ns.exitgames one. Do you know of any way to fix this?
If changing your Region does not work, I have a fix that fixes this and MANY other issues. Just don't run the game with administrator. Running it with admin breaks a load of features. Phasmophobia and the crack require you to be logged into steam with it running before you start the game. Steam does support most Linux OS's so you can go to the steam site and install it. A head's up, WINE will not guarantee that it'll make windows programs run fine on linux so its possible the game still wont work. If you are having any issues with the game check my guide on how to fix different Phasmophobia issues, it is mostly Windows oriented but my guide should still help. First of all, the LAUNCHER will run the Photon Servers, this is HIGHLY NOT recommended.. I suggest you look into my updated guide on how to get Coolphobia working (The featured guide is outdated). Second, DLL's cannot be ran on Linux operating systems and WINE is not perfect so that issue lies with WINE and not the game and that's probably why it's getting stuck on 90% or you are not logged into steam with it open in the background. You'll have to do A LOT of tinkering with WINE and the game to get it working on linux, its possible but very very hard to get something made primarily for windows onto linux.
There is no need to Install Spacewar as Homeduc as stated. Phasmophobia and the crack require Steam to be open and logged into, when you launch cracked games it'll trick steam into thinking your playing ''Spacewar" when you're actually not. SORRY! Ignore some of that, I had read a different comment but responded to you by accident. But yes there is no need to Install Spacewar as Homeduc as stated. You say your game Crashes at 90% and not freezes? Make sure your haven't deleted any files, for example some people delete the Internet Shortcuts but deleting the 'OnlineFix' internet file shortcut will make the game crash so make sure you haven't deleted it.

One of my friends has his mic working but we cant hear him and can hear eachother, anyone found a fix? His mic is recognized by the game btw we just cant hear him in lobby for some reason
Make sure they can actually hear the game's audio, also its possible you can hear them but your mic's aren't working which may be why they cannot hear you. Essentially make sure, that it says True/Joined in the top left under voice in coolphobia and that all your audio and Microphones are working, ensure you're using the LATEST version of coolphobia (v0.5.1, see my guide if you need help) and the game is up to date, and make sure your all using the crack.
The weird thing is he can hear us (me and my friend) he can hear the game, when he talks we hear nothing, the game recognizes his voice even though we dont hear it (So much so that he has summoned the ghost by talking in a lobby) we havent checked the true joined every time but we're pretty sure its correct, we're using the latest version too. we're using the crack everything is working apart from we hearing his voice, we can play games and we sort of have we just listen him as a exception on discord.
This is very strange, I've seen many issues but they've been repeats. This one is new to me, maybe check that their anti-virus is OFF and reinstall the game and the crack as it may have messed with some files
Is this Phasmophobia or Coolphobia telling you this? Also can you send the path to your game, perhaps there is some weird character the game doesn't recognise.
So 2 of my friends were able to play online without using photon launcher or coolphobia. They just opened phasmophobia version 0.174, clicked play and there a more than 3000 servers and population available but when I do it, my game says offline on both population and servers. Anyone encountered this or know how to do it? both my friends don't even know how it happened lol
By default, the crack tries to use Phasmophobia's main servers and perhaps it just let you in. 99% of the time though it dosn't work on the crack so people have to use Coolphobia or wait hours to get into a laggy Photon Launcher server. I suggest you see my updated guide on how to get coolphobia setup.
F2 acts like a toggle to show or hide the menu, also if you are using the updated version of coolphobia (0.5.1) then the boxes at the top are actually Tabs that allow you to modify/cheat the game..
Tips for playing online just go on "Play" and change your region (if you are on EU put on US), and create a private invite your friend and if he can join go back and change your region again on your, and normally it will work :).
It is likely they encountered the default server bug, by default the crack will try to use normal phasmophobia servers and 99% of the time the crack will fail due to security on the servers but there is a rare chance it'll actually work but its very unlikely. I suggest your see my updated guide on Coolphobia.
It is possible to play without slots limit? It's almost impossible to play in the evenings because all the slots are full. Is there any way to do this?
Yes, have a look at this great Mod for the game which allows you to change loads of things about the game from the player cap to walk or run speed. You can ever rename the ghosts, there's loads of things you can do with it. #

Your edit is slightly incorrect, Coolphobia allows you to connect to a server that then allows you to join Public and Private games. By default, Phasmophobia the game requires you to do the tutorial before you can join any servers which is why the 'PLAY' button is grayed out. Just click the tutorial, then as soon as your in press escape and leave and this will bypass you having to do the tutorial.
When cracked games are uploaded onto IGG-GAMES, some places have a 5GB file limit so what they do is they Split all the game data into multiple Parts in which when you extract them it'll combine them all. If they are RAR's, then to extract is correctly make sure all the parts are int he same folder for example you downloads folder then open the very last part with WinRAR and extract, it should extract all the parts into one whole game.
the comment explaining multiplayer used to work for me but now whenever i use the coolphobialoader, it will connect me to the server (it says "non official server" and has the Beta 29.95 - True) but nothing happens when i click create private game, does anyone have a solution to this? been like this for a few days now
If you used listy600's guide, its now outdated. I have 2 updated guides which you can find by scrolling down in the comments. One guide tells you a load of fixes for the game and the other will explain out to setup Coolphobia and what not. If it was helpful then please upvote it as the current featured guide is outdated.
Make sure you rmicrophone is working in the Audio settings, and that voice recognition is working. As for just talking in the game you can use by default 'V' to talk in game and 'B' by default to talk on the Radio.
Make sure Steam is open in the background and that you are logged into the Friends list area, also make sure your antivirus is off and reinstall the game as it may have affected game files that ended up breaking the game.
Make sure everyone your playing with are using the same type of game as in make sure everyone has the Cracked version and not a mix of Purchased and Cracked..

A guide on how to fix Problems with Phasmophobia. I've seen many people have issues with the Voice Recognition AND/OR Coolphobia, after many hours I've discovered a fix that worked for both me and many friends. #1.) DO NOT run the game with Administrator, for some reason this causes the game to break in many ways. If you can't run it without administrator then see #2. #2.) If the game asks you to run it with admin privileges then ENSURE the game is running on a Drive other than your C: drive as the C: drive for some reason requires the game to run as administrator. If you only have 1 drive (C:) then you'll need to make a Virtual Drive. (PERFORM AT YOUR OWN RISK. This example will create one with drive letter W:) Open the Command Prompt and type subst W: [Phasmaphobia Folder Location/Path] replacing W: with your chosen drive letter (MUST NOT BE AN EXISTING DRIVE. If your path contains spaces, surround in quotations). If you want to remove the virtual drive, open the Command Prompt and type subst W: /D replacing W: with your virtual drive letter. #3.) Make sure Steam is open in the background and that you are logged into the Friends menu in the bottom right of the Steam Software (Sometimes you may appear to be logged into steam but not in the actual friends list of steam). #4.) If you are using the cracked version from IGG-GAMES then make sure you DON'T delete the 'OnlineFix' website shortcut as deleting it appears to have made people's games get stuck at 90% or even crash. #5.) Make SURE Coolphobia is on version 0.5.1 (See my other Guide on how to get Coolphobia working if you need the download/instructions). Feel free to ask questions, and I'll try to respond when I can :D
When trying to run the game, it runs in the background (looking at task manager) but the application doesn't show up even when I alt + tab to search for it, it doesn't pop up anywhere. Do you have a fix for this? Thank you in advance
im having a problem with servers basically when i join a server for example when i click and open 'online-fix GWYF #1' it says that this chosen server is not for that game, and i have this message pop up in every server i pick(except the ones that is max 1000 people bc these servers are max). How to fix that??
Creating the Virtual Drive won't give you any response/message in command prompt after entering the command. To check if you did it right, find the drive in your File Explorer in the 'This PC' tab and it'll show all your drives including the new virtual drive.
Make sure you have ALL the files, and that your anti-virus hasn't touched anything. I suggest reinstalling the Game and Coolphobia, also make sure that you're not running the game as Admin.
i just bypassed it and did it another way but ive found another issue because i can do everything just okay now except that one of my friends has his mic working but we cant hear him and can hear eachother, anyone found a fix?
An updated Guide on how to get Coolphobia working (a way around Photon Launcher's full lobbies). #1.) In your Phasmaphobia game directory (Assuming you've downloaded the game), open dlllist and remove 'PhotonBridge.dll' from the text file then save and close. Then remove the files 'Launcher.exe' and 'PhotonBridge.dll' as you won't be needing them anymore. #2.) Download https://mega.nz/file/tUkhVAJS#kHzv6d37pqD9CSU0xc3GJiy17x8T57LXFFcprZzGiwc (NOT VERSION 0.4 FROM IGG-GAMES) and extract the files somewhere like your Phasmaphobia game directory for easy access. #3.) Signup to the https://www.photonengine.com/, press 'CREATE A NEW APP'. #4.) On the https://www.photonengine.com/, set the type to 'Photon PUN' and give it any name then hit create (Leave Description and URL blank). #5.) After it's created copy the 'App ID' (click on it if it won't appear fully). That 'App ID' is what you and you and your friends need to connect to the private server. #6.) Launch Phasmaphobia, once you're in the game launch Coolphobia coolphobialoader.exe. You should see a menu that you can interact with by heading to the Projector (or by pressing SPACE on keyboard). #7.) In the top left, enter the App ID in the box and press 'Connect To [App ID]'. If the IP appears as anything BUT 'http://ns.exitgames.com:5058' then it's working, go a head and create a Public/Private game (Only those who are connected to that App ID can join the Public/Private servers). NOTE: If people can't hear you AND you cannot hear them. Check Coolphobia in the top left if 'Voice IP' says 'True/Joined', if it says False, Joining, Failed etc then try the button 'Disconnect from Voice Chat' and then 'Connect to Voice Chat (use in room)' and if it still does not say 'True/Joined' then make a new server/room. If you are having ANY issues, for example the Mic or Coolphobia not working. See my other unique guide on how to fix it. Feel free to ask questions, and I'll try to respond when I can :D

Oh i got it. I was also able to launch phasmopobia, but now when i launch coolphobialoader.exe a window popped up and it gave me an error message saying: sharpmonoinjector.i njectorexception: failed to open process - - -> system.componentmodel.win32exception: access is denied And it has stopped working then proceeds to close the app. Is there something i might have missed on instruction #1-6?
You may want to get your eyes, checked lmao Jokes aside, create an account on the photon engine site then if you don't get sent to the 'applications' page which is where to button is, click Dashbored in the top right and click 'Applications' and the button should be on that page.

That's odd, make sure your anti-virus has not removed, modified or added any files. Sometimes the crack or coolphobia can trigger your anti-virus. Also ensure that the game is Not on your C: drive and that you're not running the game as administrator.
For some reason when I open the application. (In Administrator Mode) It'll open a command prompt, the command prompt will close and there's no ingame menu for the servers.
Go to the site, click dashboard and signup afterwards it should take you to 'Your Applications' (If not click Dashboard and select 'Your Applications') and then near the top left it will say 'CREATE A NEW APP'.
Double check that you Anti-Virus hasn't affected any files as it can remove or manipulate files and stops the game working so reinstall the game with your Anti-Virus completely off. Also ensure Steam is open in the background and that you are logged into your Friends list.
Even when it says "True/Joined" me and my friend can't hear each other, we both have our microphones correctly selected and it even says "We heard you!" in the Audio Test section of the menu for both of us.
Make sure your Master volume is up in your audio settings, some think this is their microphone volume when actually its your game volume and for some the game sets it to '1' or '0'. Also make sure you are in the same Lobby/Room and that you are talking with your push to talk key which by default is 'V'.
Just to check, are your Sounds working. If you have multiple audio devices, it may be trying to use a different so make sure you can hear audio. Also try delete your server app and creating a new one for Coolphobia.
Make sure EVERYONE is running the latest version of Phasmophobia which as far as I know is 0.174. If you are also trying to play with those who have actually brought the game instead of the crack that may be why, try to make sure everyone is using the crack with coolphobia.
Yes there is, disable your anti-virus and any others running and make sure they are always off or get them to skip your phasmophobia directory when virus scanning. None of it's a virus but how ever it's been coded it seems to make anti-viruses trigger sometimes, so far so good though.
Yep, make sure its off. If you have any other issues, reinstall the game with it off as it may have changed some game files that stop things from working.
im having problems with the mic (voice recognition test). ive been trying to fix it but nothing ang been playing as a mute investigator. anyone have any other solutions for this?
nothing.. been moving the files back and forth. ive tried re-extracting them clean and still nothing. fixing the settings cant even do it. maybe an actual installer works? idk. it did work the first time but there was an unrelated issue that i had to fix but this happened.

If you are downloading it from MEGA, then you have not gone to the link correctly. MEGA works by putting the decryption key inside of the URL so make sure you go to the right URL. If you can't do it just try another source.

Thanks SpicyWasabi for the screenshot. If this is happening to you go to Phasmophobia\Phasmophobia_Data\Plugins\x86_64\steam_settings\settings and change user_steam_id to anything, but make sure it has the same amount of numbers. the problem should be solved
what does this have to do with the site that cracks the game lol some ghosts dont respond to spirit box and ouija board has a specific conditions under which it is active, or try to talk ingame if u havent already (in case you were using discord) and ask if your friends can hear you, they should hear you through both V-local and B-radio chat

Choose Photon Type - Photon Pun, write any name and press Create
You will have a card with your server. Click on Appid and share it with your friends.
Start the game, enter your Appid in the AppID field (ctrl + c && ctrl + v) and press "connect to your-app-id"
Profit! Press Play and enjoy your own server with your friends, your friends have to connect to the same app id then u can join each others rooms. if it works add me on discord because i already got a server up and running
To fix not being able to create a room, you need to download the new PhasmoPhobiaProject.dll and place it into your coolphobia folder https://cdn.discordapp.com/... then you have to make your own server here,
Probably because one of the people didn't connect to the server properly, everyone has to connect to the same app-id, and when you connect it should say "Coolphobia" in blue at the bottom left of the screen. Also try connecting in the same region like NA.
I did this exact thing yesterday and it didn't work. Wait nvm I missed the part where your friends have to put in your app id too. Do your friends have to register an account too? Or just one person so we can all play together on each others rooms.
Everytime I open coolphobia it says the version is 0.174normal (which is how it's supposed to be) but as soon as I click "connect to servers" it automatically switches to a beta version which doesn't allow me to either create my own lobby or connect to any lobbies at all. My friends weren't having this issue yesterday and were playing perfectly fine while I couldn't. However all of a sudden today one of them is randomly getting this issue aswell. I've tried reinstalling coolphobia already and it doesn't work. Is there any fix for this?
The beta version is actually how its supposed to be. But the reason why it won't let you create a lobby or something is because the servers are down. Nobody can play on coolphobia right now. Just go back to the photon launcher which means reinstalling photonbridge.dll
How were all 3 of my friends playing perfectly fine yesterday and have played today aswell with coolphobia while it said they're on version 0.174normal? Servers weren't down for them
i can't play, always stuck 90% with sounds in the background(the guy with walkie talkie) at first i can play 1 times, then when i open it again it stuck i did everything i can do to solve this like re-extract the file, deleting save data, changing VRmode from 1 to 0 running steam in background, restart PC, changing the the directory, deleting its save data in regedit. if u ask me bout my pc spec, i can run it but old version (0.173) work fine any idea? edit : i fixed it by replacing steam_api64.dll from my 0.173 to 0.174
Hello for everyone who is having a problem in connecting into MP,don't use coolphobia go back to its orignal launcher which is the Photon Launcher,so you have to undo the thing you did for coolphobia installation.this means putting back PhotonBridge.dll on dllist and the physical PhotonBridge.dll on the game folder.and running the game with the selected server of the PhotonBridge Launcher.
The servers are not working or I don't know but they're not stated Offline but as of I see there is no available rooms nor I am able to create one. Please hit me with a fix ASAP.
To those who have server issues (normal 0.174 | false) and/or voice chat issues. Move files to your D drive which will fix server issues, do NOT alt tab to open coolphobia, always use windows key as alt tabbing will break VC.
I have 1 drive but theres a way to make a partition (which you basically can call this a drive) on your pc. Search up how to make a partition and set it to the letter D so you can play phasmophobia on it. Come back to me if you have more questions.
I do have an alternative method for fixing the server on that 1 drive, although have no idea how to fix VC. It sounds weird but, start your game and launch coolphobia. Disable your wifi so an error screen pops up, keep it on that error screen then reconnect your wifi/ethernet then click "connect to server" on coolphobia. You have to do this everytime sadly.

For phasmophobia, I always get stuck on the first loading screen at 90%. I have turned my AV when I try to start the game and made sure steam was open. Any help would be appreciated.

I can't do that because I can only make a partition with 260 megabytes free of space. Edit 1 Nvm I decided to have my pc bite a healthy partition off that had 116 gigabytes free of space so I can use that instead for the D drive. Edit 2 ok so I decided to just move phasmophobia from my main drive into the d drive. Will that work or do I have to reinstall phasmophobia.
Plz Help: I downloaded and extracted the parts into a folder, but whenever I click the exe to start the game nothing comes up on my screen. I opened task manager and it says it is running there, but nothing is on my task bar indicating that the game is running. I have reset my pc 2 times and re-downloaded the parts 3 times. I am not sure why the game wont work for me.
can you run phasmophobia without administrator mode?, and if i can so how?. i can launch it as administrator from the launcher.exe or remove PhotonBridge.dll from the folder and the launch Phasmophobia.exe as administrator.
If you use coolphobia you need to see everyones lobbys in the lobby finder. If you click connect and you don't. Go into a training and click connect, back out of the training. And it should work.
Hey, one of my friend's voice recognition isn't working after we tried everything. He doesn't have space in his D drive so he's forced to run as admin, we're pretty sure the running it as admin is the reason for his mic to not be recognized.. Does anyone know how to run the game without admin and without moving it to a different drive? Thanks.
mfw google drive are overloaded and every other site IGG uses has the most intrusive ads ever, not hating on IGG, but anyone who's new to IGG or piracy as a whole, like my friends who i walked through how to install the game, can easily get a virus from those annoying pop up ads
oh dont worry, i've been using IGG for years now, but my friends haven't, and besides, everything other than google drive either has a download limit or is just obnoxiously slower than google drive
yeah i can't really argue with that, mega will give 5gb though so you can get 1 part from there relatively fast, then use the slower links and in this case part 2 is only 174.5mb so it shouldn't take too long anyway. Hopefully some day google drive will allow people to create copies again :/ iv been considering recommending 1fichier as their speed is actually really good now but if you have a file host you want to suggest feel free to leave it in the FAQ and IGG will see it eventually.
for some reason i can play multiplayer even without coolphobia, i used coolphobia once and now i can just connect to servers without it. (i don't know what about vr because when i tried vr it was before i used coolphobia).
voice recognition not working, my mic is working, my windows 10 speech recognition is working but Phasmophobia voice recognition isn't, do i need to talk in a accent or something? and it's not like my mic volume isn't high enough, Phasmophobia doesn't hear my mic at all. (and yes my mic is set to default in the sound control panel and in phasmophobia).

You need to see everyones lobbys in the lobby finder. If you click connect and you don't. Go into a training and click connect, back out of the training. And it should work.

Ok so I noticed an issue. 2 of my friends and I can play together. Their and my coolphobia show server version: 0.174 normal. But, my third friend can't join. His says beta 29.95. I think that is what causes the server version mismatch error for him. Anyone know how to fix that?
Mines too. Although whenever I disconnect my ethernet then click connect to server it says beta. I reconnect my ethernet and it works. But it is a pain and I would love an alternative way
Yes, there is no solution for Win 7 users for voice recognition. However, even on Windows 10 there are a plethera of issues preventing it working- one is you shouldn't launch the game/steam as admin, and many others.
My friends pc is window 10 but the voice recog still dont work and for some reason we can hear the walkie talkie on but cant hear anything or someone talking..idk if its correct or not

I have my game running on a seperate hard drive (not C). I have steam opened, and I have coolphobia running. My friends can join my private lobbies. However, voice chat recognition doesn't seem to be working on the test menu in game. But when I run from the photon launcher, it works. Any fixes?
Make sure you have set your default microphone to the mic you want to use. Also make sure you have setup voice recognition in Speech Settings. Only install English as a voice package. If you have multiple, delete the others.

i downloaded the game from the torrent site and it opens ok but when i connect to a server i can hear someone talking saying he will walk me through but the game is stuck at "Loading Game" 90% (and i don't see anything in VR). Fixed it, steam wasen't open.
Ok so I got it working, but if I try to connect to servers I always get FALSE for connection. Also, if I try the training mission it sticks at 90%. I can walk around the empty room for about 30 seconds then the game crashes. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

you can drop it on any folder, and to use it run phasmophobia as administrator, when you get to the game menu you can open coolphobia as administrator too, after that you just click connect in the new window that will pop ingame
nope, because the private lobbies rely on the public servers, so what they are trying to do is create a new public server, but the servers are always full
a new crack for the multiplayer which you can find at some other website make sure to follow the step by step if you find it, i can't post the link here, it got deleted
I didnt downloaded the 0.174 version from igg, but is the "photom launcher" the online crack? i downloaded another 0.174 from other site, and it didnt work, download coolphobia instead

I mean i tried 15 mins ago and it says 500 players out of 20 connected to the server so they messed that up. And both of my friends get stuck at 90% when loading into the game so yea. Useless crack unless its fixed
Have you got steamVR downloaded? If you do, close/delete it. If not, I actually don't know. Try doing some research. I'm going to take a break from answering, see you tomorrow!

both you and your friend need to have the cracked version and open launcher.exe as administrator, after that, both should join the same server on the launcher, which is pretty hard considering the numbers of servers available. ingame, you can create a private lobby and give the code to your friend so you can play with him

Ok, there are 2 parts of the game. You need to download them both and extract them in the same folder. Also, disable your antivirus to avoid more problems with cracking games.
To play solo, open the dlllist.txt file and delete the part where it says: "PhotonBridge.dll" or you can just delete the PhotonBridge.dll file. If you delete it, you should save a copy of it, so then you can put it back to play multiplayer whenever you want.
WARNING If you alt+tab out of the game, click the Phasmophobia icon in the taskbar to get back into the game so voice chat doesn't glitch. Do NOT alt+tab back into the game. Also, open steam before joining a sever. Have fun!

I found out that it tries to connect to main server ip 20.44.185.149. The Update has patched it to new IP which I don't know. So the game doesn't start
go into the config and change Vrmode=1 to vrmode=0, if it still doesn't work like it didn't for me, just go into the plugin folder and delete the OpenXR file, VR will never work if you do that though, so I suggest holding onto it if you plan on VR anytime.

no, it can't even be played with the cracked versions together, let alone official servers (Though it could until they released the new version). It's estimated that the cracked servers will be good to go in ~2 weeks, and they will obviously only work with other cracked games with the same version that will be really old at that point.

I fixed it by redownloading completely the parts. But still no online support, only the tutorial can be played. Which is not a real fix, so better wait for the update.
you need to move your game file to another disc and don't run on adm,if you don't have other disc just create a new partition,just go on youtube it's easy.

Devs updated the servers and you cannot play anymore using goldberg emu due to servers automatically detecting it as a pirated version. Singleplayer does work though
you install the 2 parts and extract them together. What I do is when the 2 parts are downloaded, I create a new file for the game, place the 2 installed parts there and I extract both of them. Highlight both of the parts and right click it and then do "Extract Here".
Among us was a game exclusive for phones, therefore when it was released on Steam/PC it kept the servers that were used for the phone version, so it doesn't have any steam authentication to begin with even though it is on steam. There is nothing to crack, One person can buy the game officially and send the original files to everyone they want to play with.
Are you sure that version was uploaded? I played with my friends and the server crashed then we all had a weird bug where we keep teleporting in the starting place (game menu), sort of a stuck thing.

If you have the vr headset plugged in while launching the game that could be your problem. Otherwise, there is a file in the folder of the game (I think its the config.txt one but not sure) and change vrmode=1

not even close to that. is related to your windows voice recognition as how it works for me i keeping my windows voice recognition in the screen because i'm playing from vr so it won't disturb me and if you playing from nonvr you could just small button and it won't close the voice speech it just would be in the background processes and without keeping it open the windows voice recongnition. the voice recognition of the game just wouldn't not work so make sure to keep it open while playing i hope this will fix your problem and if you didn't understand something let me know :)

how to know if phasmophobia can hear you: get into the phasmophobia audio setting open the test option and check if it says "voice recognition is set on your pc correctly"(look at the added picture: https://ibb.co/xftMBt6 ) if it shows this sentence but the game still doesn't hear you than the problem is in getting the audio to phasmophobia not phasmophobia itself(in computer settings or the mic)
BTW- I suggest going to phasmophobia settings-->pc settings-->local voice chat button-->turn off (this will make it so your friends always hear you when you're nearby without having to press V. you'll still need to press B to turn on global/far away voice chat).

To clear things up, Coolphobia does NOT work on the latest version 176.28, it only works with version 174 and only SOMETIMES.. I beilive the Photon Servers have been updated for 176.28 for the Photon Launcher which is why coolphobia is having issues.
Either use the PhotonLauncher or wait for a new version of Coolphobia or something new like Coolphobia.
Also I tried using both Coolphobia v0.4 and v0.5.1 and both gave me the same problem.

Seems outdated or servers are down?
If you extract the game to somewhere like your Documents, Downloads, Music, etc then it may read the game path as Documents and not for example C:\Users\exampleuset\Documents.
For some, windows won't let them. A way around this is to put the game on a Drive other than the C: drive and if you only have 1 drive (your C: drive), see my guide as it shows another method.

when I join a session and connect with my friends in the room, I have a different VoiceChat ip than them. I don't know how to fix it. We can join the room and we have the same IP but voicechat doesn't work. When we try to disconnect and reconnect it then just says 'joining'.
We have same version of the coolphobia and the game.
We do not run this program as an administrator.
We have removed PhotonBridge.
We are using the game version 0.174. We tried to create new rooms and new servers but it didn't work. We are connected and joined. I don't know why only this ip voicechat is different. It just doesn't work for me, because only I have a different IP, and they can talk to each other.
Not doing this will request for you to join a server with PhotonLauncher before launching the game, removing the DLL file fromt he game directory or the txt file will get rid of this restriction.

Make sure your haven't deleted any files, for example some people delete the Internet Shortcuts but deleting the 'OnlineFix' internet file shortcut will make the game crash so make sure you haven't deleted it.

Edit if anyone has this issue just do the tutorial,
By default, Phasmophobia the game requires you to do the tutorial before you can join any servers which is why the 'PLAY' button is grayed out. Just click the tutorial, then as soon as your in press escape and leave and this will bypass you having to do the tutorial.
If they are RAR's, then to extract is correctly make sure all the parts are int he same folder for example you downloads folder then open the very last part with WinRAR and extract, it should extract all the parts into one whole game.

I've seen many people have issues with the Voice Recognition AND/OR Coolphobia,
after many hours I've discovered a fix that worked for both me and many friends.
#1.) DO NOT run the game with Administrator, for some reason this causes the game to break in many ways. If you can't run it without administrator then see #2.
#2.) If the game asks you to run it with admin privileges then ENSURE the game is running on a Drive other than your C: drive as the C: drive for some reason requires the game
to run as administrator. If you only have 1 drive (C:) then you'll need to make a Virtual Drive. (PERFORM AT YOUR OWN RISK. This example will create one with drive letter W:) Open the Command Prompt and type subst W: [Phasmaphobia Folder Location/Path] replacing W: with your chosen drive letter (MUST NOT BE AN EXISTING DRIVE. If your path contains spaces, surround in quotations).
If you want to remove the virtual drive, open the Command Prompt and type subst W: /D replacing W: with your virtual drive letter.
#3.) Make sure Steam is open in the background and that you are logged into the Friends menu in the bottom right of the Steam Software (Sometimes you may appear to be logged into steam but not in the actual friends list of steam).
#4.) If you are using the cracked version from IGG-GAMES then make sure you DON'T delete the 'OnlineFix' website shortcut as deleting it appears to have made people's games get stuck at 90% or even crash.
#5.) Make SURE Coolphobia is on version 0.5.1 (See my other Guide on how to get Coolphobia working if you need the download/instructions).

#1.) In your Phasmaphobia game directory (Assuming you've downloaded the game), open dlllist and remove 'PhotonBridge.dll' from the text file then save and close. Then remove the files 'Launcher.exe' and 'PhotonBridge.dll' as you won't be needing them anymore.
#2.) Download https://mega.nz/file/tUkhVAJS#kHzv6d37pqD9CSU0xc3GJiy17x8T57LXFFcprZzGiwc (NOT VERSION 0.4 FROM IGG-GAMES) and extract the files somewhere like your Phasmaphobia game directory for easy access.
#3.) Signup to the https://www.photonengine.com/, press 'CREATE A NEW APP'.
#4.) On the https://www.photonengine.com/, set the type to 'Photon PUN' and give it any name then hit create (Leave Description and URL blank).
#5.) After it's created copy the 'App ID' (click on it if it won't appear fully). That 'App ID' is what you and you and your friends need to connect to the private server.
#6.) Launch Phasmaphobia, once you're in the game launch Coolphobia coolphobialoader.exe.
You should see a menu that you can interact with by heading to the Projector (or by pressing SPACE on keyboard).
#7.) In the top left, enter the App ID in the box and press 'Connect To [App ID]'. If the IP appears as anything BUT 'http://ns.exitgames.com:5058' then it's working, go a head and create a Public/Private game (Only those who are connected to that App ID can join the Public/Private servers).
NOTE: If people can't hear you AND you cannot hear them. Check Coolphobia in the top left if 'Voice IP' says 'True/Joined', if it says False, Joining, Failed etc then
try the button 'Disconnect from Voice Chat' and then 'Connect to Voice Chat (use in room)' and if it still does not say 'True/Joined' then make a new server/room.
If you are having ANY issues, for example the Mic or Coolphobia not working. See my other unique guide on how to fix it.

Jokes aside, create an account on the photon engine site then if you don't get sent to the 'applications' page which is where to button is, click Dashbored in the top right and click 'Applications' and the button should be on that page.
A heads up, the guide may no-longer work FOR NOW as the game from IGG-GAMES is currently out of date and will be updated soon. I'll keep you up to date if the crack works on the new version when it's updated.

and change user_steam_id to anything, but make sure it has the same amount of numbers.

My friends weren't having this issue yesterday and were playing perfectly fine while I couldn't. However all of a sudden today one of them is randomly getting this issue aswell.

If you delete it, you should save a copy of it, so then you can put it back to play multiplayer whenever you want.
Your friend can download the cracked game just to play with you.

If you alt+tab out of the game, click the Phasmophobia icon in the taskbar to get back into the game so voice chat doesn't glitch. Do NOT alt+tab back into the game. Also, open steam before joining a sever.

I played with my friends and the server crashed then we all had a weird bug where we keep teleporting in the starting place (game menu), sort of a stuck thing.

4-To change the amount of money, look for PlayersMoney_h (random numbers) by left clicking change the value (we put the decimal)
5-Do not put huge amounts, because it will go into a negative number
6-For experience, we are looking for myTotalExp_ (numbers), we also change it to decimal
7-We enter the number with the left click . remember that 100 (experience) = 1 lvl. 800 - 8 lvl.
