Tried this several times in the past, just felt to grindy without getting anywhere in any reasonable amounts of play time. No idea what it's like now though. It is unique in what it is.
Like most of these type of games it can be super grindy depending on your settings. This one is a little different than most because of how it breaks everything up into seasons and is really heavy on automation. The game has a weird curve to it where at the start you are running your ass off just trying to build simple shit and not starve while you set up a little village. Once you get it set up properly tho everything is basically done by the villagers and you don't really have anything left to do but fuck around, expand and make the village look nice.
I saw in the request page that the game was updated to 1.0.0.9 two days ago, but when I downloaded and installed it says 1.0.0.5. Am I missing something?
yeah seems like it... it's one of the best games i played this year on this genre. The only complain i have is traveling is expensive. You pretty much have to walk everywhere. Without unlimited stamina it's just a hassle.

Just so you know, they always have a torrent download of ALL of the games ;) At the top click on Torrent site. Then you can look for your game or see what's new. Same thing as this, it's just it's Torrents instead of direct downloads. You will need Utorrent or Bitlord or something that can download torrents. Then, you will be good to go. :)

After having played the game for some time, I'd say it has great potential, but its visuals are wasted by an unresolved problem. Namely the building system is too restrictive with regards to where you can build, and this has been a reported problem for a year now from research. I'm hoping they ease the restrictions in the future and allow us to also control the height of the construction template, so we can build villages in mountains and near waterfalls and such. Building on plains just bores me with regards to visuals.
yes 0.6.0.4 - test version. The game wasn't optimized well and it barely ran on my powerful PC. I would ask the uploaders to give the official version, not in the test phase, because it may contain many bugs and this is a version for testing, not for the game <3

fun game that crashes too much! I spent all day playing only to be put back to day one due to random crashes sometimes while i'm building my house sometimes when i'm in town buying supplies for my farm i found this game to be a bit unstable i hope with future releases it gets the proper patches as it is a fun game sad it's not stable i was getting into the game but constant crashing made me decide i'm not playing this game at least for a good 6 months until a few releases go by to hopefully stop the crashes of the game.

cheat engine works you have to get the right version! try reading down further and not take the old trainers posted on the 1st page in cheat engine! I think the new ones are on page 7 in cheat engine under medieval dynasty good luck!
yeah the 0.3.0.2 keeps crashing on me at random times i played all day only to still be at the start where you have to build your house due to so many random crashes! hopefully it will be fixed in a few months!
actually this is the horse test update , it has many bugs, some problems with saving and loading and does not have all the other things that were added to the latest update .. jic the latest update is 0.3.0.2 so if u want to get the complete fixed update then wait for 0.3.0.2 if not then u can try this one till the other is up
hi i have a problem with the v0.2.1.0 i open up he game and go into the main menu then i click continue then it freezes for a bit (like it usually does) then it just crashes
Download the new v2.1.2 ..... 2.1.0 was patched from steam testing branch before it went to live branch and had some bugs.....i tested the 2.1.2 here and it works fine for me.....i also have it on steam as well :) cheers
what if they update the game and you downloaded this game from this site and not from steam? how you gonna be update it? or you need to uninstall the game and wait for the game that is updated to be posted here and download it again
once the new updates are released by the scene groups who patch the steam and other version games, IGG will upload the new version if they have it.....just download the new version or newest update, extract the .rar file and play as usual from the new game version....and then delete the older version(s) .... most of the games patched here from steam will allow you to even play the new version and continue your last saved game, that way you dont have to start all over, however, sometimes you may have to start a new game if they update the core engine or major changes to the game it's self.
that is true, but when they patch the game from Steam Testing branches and not from Live Branch it tends to have more bugs than the normal updates....this was meant to be a "Heads Up" if anyone ran into any major bugs then that could be the reason.....I have this on steam that is how i know :) cheers
Most of the Steam-Games are not hard to Crack. Just Apply SmartSteamEmu and config it right. Works very often. Last Week i had to crack an Steam-Game from my list, because it doesn't started properly (Steam-Login-Loop). Worked fine.
Trying to decide if I should just wait for that one or not. Seems like a lot of bug fixes mainly, none of which I've run into. Mostly dealing with quests.
Including September 17th, release day, that's 11 days. There was a v0.1.0.7 and v0.1.0.7.1 or some name similar to that, and they most recently put out v0.1.1.0, so that's 11 updates. So they are averaging 1 per day. Gotta love that kind of dedication. It's Early Access, but a lot of people are loving it, and say there's already a solid base of a game there, and with the work they are obviously putting in, this is one to watch for sure.
The file has been replaced with the 1.0.9 update. So you just redownload the file. Extract like normal and use the new application to continue playing.

I do not think so... The player in this game is something like a village chief. You need to pay your taxes every year too. The bigger your village, the more taxes you pay. If you were a king, or were to become one, the game would not have a tax system that you must pay. Sure, the taxes you pay go to the king's coffers ... which is not you.
If the devs stick with their plans for it in the future it's only gonna get even better. $30 usd is a bit steep for a game so early in the development cycle but I caught it in the last few hours of a sale so I bought it. One of the best Early Access titles I've ever played. Hope you're able to pick it up, too, my friend 👍

Last time i looked the original game was updated to v0.1.0.6. It means that the dev put like 1 or 2 updates per week...it is very hard and time consuming to update it...

if there is no version in the title its most likely the first release. right now it says "Medieval Dynasty Free Download (v0.1.0.2)" so its version 0.1.0.2 at the time of writing.
I have had zero crashes. only problem i have had is the sound one. crunching sound sometimes and problem with the saves not always loading right. igg-games did say about 2 hours ago they will update the game soon. so that will fix those problems. i'm glad they upload Early Access games. gives us a chance to play around with them see if we like them without having to wait years for them to get out of Early Access. if you or others don't like them its pretty simple just don't download them.

Pretty great for a game in Early Access. Its gameplay consist mostly of gathering resources such as sticks, straws, and rocks. You can do what you want in the game, make your own village/town. For such a little game (3GB), it's really quite an accomplishment to have such graphics, especially compared to Kingdom Come Deliverance (which is superior, though), weighing at least 40GB, I think. I downloaded the MD.Patch.0.1.0.0.to.0.1.0.1.rar from CS Rin Ru ran it, choose directory and applied it but I still get the crackling noise. - It's annoying yes but my saves work fine. I just have to save the game then reload that save and the crackling sound goes away for a while.

From everything I've seen, even some older or slower puters should be able to run it, it might be a little slow but it shouldn't be too bad. That's why I'm giving it a chance, so far it's done good. A little issue here and there but the biggest is that it's just a little slow.

Now this looks interesting, don't know how I missed this game. Its modding community is scarce though which is a pity as this looks to potentially benefit a LOT from modding. Hope stuff picks up from this full release.
