I wonder when the fad of xxx:yyyyy titles is finally going to die (can't wait for it). Using such a title even now, that countless of others did it, doesn't look very imaginative but like you just copy from others. It already makes me turn away from your anime, game or whatever.
Its not the full release, i thought it was since ive been waiting for this game and all, but it stops suddenly with a Thank You. Gotta have to wait for another month
I like 2D horror games much more than 3D ones. Devs have actually try and be creative in order to create the horror, and sometimes, there are very neat monster designs and these games are a bit more disturbing. 3D horror games (especialy first person ones) are most of the time just jumpscare gallore and... this isn't horror in any way or shape.
Kirby Super Star. More seriously, Clock Tower on Super Nes is still one of the best 2D horror games ever, if not the best to me, at least. Maybe you would like Mad Father. It's on IGG, check it out. It is worth nothing that most Hidden Object games are 2D after all, and some of them are very very creepy. (You can try the Haunted Hotel series. When I want to play some kind of 2D interactive story with puzzles, hidden object scenes, and very creepy stories, this is where I go. But even the "Mystery Case Files" series can have creepy elements too.) If you don't have anything against "point and click" games, you can try "Dark Fear" or "Kathy Rain". (The blackwell games aren't scary, but still great.) "I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream" is one of the creepiest point and click games ever made. So disturbing that I never played it twice. lol Also, it's more survival than horror, but maybe you can try something like Project Zomboid ?
Lone Survivor, Home, Claire, The Swapper, REDO, Viviette, Dark Matter (251410), Clea, Ailment. Some Java mobile games like Zombie Infection series, Darkest Fear series and Nowhere, there's also a Call Of Cthulu game but I hate it, plus tons more including versions of Resident Evil and Silent Hill. Older versions of Metroid and Clock Tower.
Would definitely recommend Silence Of the Sleep, dunno if because noboby knows this game that its never mentioned, but its a great 2d side scrolling horror game
I may also add "The Coma 1&2" and "The Last Door" is also really nice. "Don't Chat with Strangers" also was really interesting... even if the solving of the whole game was confusing.
I have one game to add to the list. Mind you, its Hentai so if that's an issue ... sorry. What got me into the game was the plot. No, I do not mean "plot". I mean, actual plot. It may not be heavy enough horror for some people's tastes, but its definitely a game loaded with a good amount of creep factor. The game is called Divi Dead.
Add to the list of Jash Laker , Angels of Death , Deeproot Manor , Derange , Midnight Scenes The Highway (Special Edition) , Neverending Nightmares , Undertale , DISTRAINT: Deluxe Edition , DISTRAINT 2 , The Count Lucanor , Fran Bow , The Last Door – Collector’s Edition , The Last Door: Season 2 Collector’s Edition , Seven Mysteries: The Last Page , Downfall , Darkwood , Knock-knock , Detention 返校 , The Cat Lady , Lorelai , WORLD OF HORROR , and I wait for this game to released ( FAITH- The Unholy Trinity ) .
Neverending Nightmares , Undertale , The Count Lucanor and WORLD OF HORROR , but I like these games because of its horror and story and action , mate , all the puzzles are easy to solve , nothing huge or hard . and all other games that I write it are a good horror games for Me .but always VN and point & click games have more puzzles than others as it depend on it in its gameplay , it has a little action .

And "True Fear: Part1&2" are also well made.
