as of 1.0.0 Can they just remove the -5 per harvest negative trait on a unit in the early game (or just remove it in the game its not fun going back and fort to the caravan healing), IT REALLY SUCKS that one of your people is dying just doing there Job, this is probably "Balance" but can they just maybe make it -1? or something because -5 adds up quickly.
i can deal with -5 per harvest, i simply dont let it harvest if i can. What i cant deal with is -1 per turn lol, you are forced to go for potions which are a pain in the ass to produce. Have you tried the north tribe in 1.0.0? i honestly i think its impossible without a miracle with your traits. North tribe consumes wool each turn just like food AND all your pupils have the -1hp per turn perk. So you need a food source, a wool source, a herb source AND a wood source (wood for producing potions) just to survive. You only start with 3 pupils and are required to manage 4 resources just to survive leaving you with no way to gather the next halt requirement, its crazy.
i never try the north tribe yet, still wating for the patch for 1.0.2 where they Balance the game, Thought I agree that -1 MP to a unit IS BAD! REALLY BAD. one time i got a full start tribe -1 Mp. i just reset the game before it started. but still the -5 per harvest from the start is bad as a trait, it okay if you got that trait along the way, but it really pains me to have it as a start up one, like i can see them just being a herb and cook expert which is nice.
This game is Somewhat Heavy on RNG. my 1st and 2nd run, RAN OUT OF RESOURCES IN THE AREA to move on. Like how do you think i can go to the next hex when i have less resource to harvest and go to another hex. Though To be fair the game is still balancing something out, so there that. Overall, i still need to play more so i could get a good feel, the later part is somewhat easy because of overall harvest exp and some RNG? (desasters, landmarks, ect) , thats for sure.
1000+ for that "Iron" requirement and you dont have anywhere to find. Plus the RNG is so badly rig to your demise that every event is a negative with only handful positive RNG to help you in your runs (the other caravans WILL GIVE YOU SOME EDGE IN RESOUCES TRUST ME). in this run my guys are top off in stats and have 2 max specialization, sadly my run ended here because RNG F'ck my run REALLY BADLY, not in a fun way.
Here is my thought for now -
clearly small maps are generally bad in resources and not GOOD IN GENERAL , then why are they here? dont know, its poorly balance.
You can play it like 10 - 20 time and you know what are the "META" in the game is and with only handful of stuff going around with few decision ,changing base on events that the game throws at you, keeping you in check, but not really.
a -1 MP or movement point as a negative trait early will kill you sometime soon as movement and time is the basis of the game, having one or even multiple in the start just dont work, Just restart a new game.
As far as the eye can see.. lets see.. If Earth is a sphere with a radius of 3959 miles then Every horizon distance measurement Must Be No More than 1.225 x the square root of the observers height in feet. However we Know we can see way farther than That. Ergo Earth is Not a sphere with a radius of 3959 miles.
"Look at this little basic arithmetic equation that I made! It completely invalidates the work of thousands of different researchers with all kinds of instruments and technologies over the course of several hundreds of years! I'm definitely right because math is perfect and it cannot lie, right? Haha!"
I do because I rather thought it was a clever comment. Too bad you didn't get it. It was meant to be a joke anyway for Smart people. Just like the stuff you drink all the time called Dihydrogenmonoxide. But I digress. LOL Now as to your BS.. I spoke Facts. That is the exact distance you should be able to see according to the heliocentric model or the Standard Model. All I'm saying is that we tested it and we Know we can see farther so If Earth is a sphere it's radius has to be wrong. We have Photographs that Prove this. Tons of them Everyday. We know this to be True also because the Source we get this radius from (Al Biruni) did not site a tangent line to a physical geometric horizon but he uses a local apparent horizon .. in other words.. he saw to the limit of his vision due to atmosphere and did not see a ball Earth curve edge like he claimed.. Therefore, his calculated radius has to be wrong.. do you understand that?
I have 5 Numpty's down voting me because they Don't understand simple math and simple concepts! LOL No wonder all you people are pirating games! And the Kicker is.. it's Your Own Model - Don't you people have any Clue what they teach you in school? I guess Not LOL Come on people.. thats Only 3 miles for a 6 foot man! Don't you think you can see farther than 3 miles.. of Course you do. we all see farther than 3 miles all the time.. well.. that's Proof the radius is Wrong.
No one had to ask me. I made a comment and I replied to the people who commented under me. It is really that simple. Just like I am replying to You. So tell me.. Who asked YOU to Reply to Me? I guess you think you know better than me.. If so.. Show me ANY Radius calculation of the Earth that does NOT make assumptions. You Cannot. All I wanted to do was make a Joke but now the Gloves are Off and we are talking Real Provable Science and Physics. Still wanna play little boy?
Or I have to know after setup?
