I second how you feel..., back in the day i had so much free time...which i actually regret wasting like that.
With games, and with school. (Which i could course later via one of those fucking programs of one-exam-graduation or whatever bs that exists now. Instead of wasting my youth and valuable time of my life that will never come back)...eh..nvm me, i got too sentimental, and nobody cares about it anyway.
Yeah, i would have played it in the 90s too.

The sentiment is not unwarranted. Back then, everything was sparkles and hope. Parents were too busy to give guidance, school told you anything was possible with hard work, and getting a daily allowance of $300 made it seem like getting a white collar job was easy. The girls weren't so edgy or feminist, they were down to earth and was very much like the girl next door. Everyone used to hang out in each other's houses, playing Nintendo 64 or SEGA. Ahh, those were the best days.

That is always a props.
Would of course have been better if he wasted time doing non-lame porn goodness, though.

for a RPG maker the game looks good, and seems to be more focused on narrative than gameplay so far

"Winner of 7 Alex d’Or awards"
Uhm... ok?
Seems like a french RPG maker site, but I still don't know if these awards have more weight than "My gf thought my game is really good and my friends gave me a thumbs up.".

The award doesn't mean anything since it isn't an official organisation which gave it. I don't know why the author advertised that seriously...

Back in the days vidya Magazine give any bullshit award to any promoting game, up to this day it's a practice that means nothing but what the people playing it says

So what you are saying is, there aren't people who are playing these games behind a videogame-magazine.
And yeah, enough people said that "The Last of Us 2" is the worst thing ever, yet, I've had fun with it.
Also, enough people praise "The Witcher 3" as the best game ever... yet, it's a boring slog to me.
If I trust one person, it's myself.

More like advertising like using some names and awards of some random people similar to the old PS magazine back on the 00's
