I started it from the launcher and it just says "Authentication Failed: Authentication" Anyone know how to fix this?

I have installed hello neighbour mod kit and when I launch using the launcher, it launches into the hello neighbour instead. Anyone have any fixes?
UPDATE: Fixed. Just uninstall Hello Neighbour Mod Kit and launch the launcher again, it should work.

It worked for me. you just need to put the game in c games and add hallo mod kit to your epic libary and then click on the lancher

pressed launcher, epic stores restarted, game doesnt load automatically and when i launch hello mod kit it says: this account does not have ownership of Hello Mod Kit

to those of you who are having the problem, once you installed the 13 GB+ hello mod kit, uninstall it then run the launcher. it worked for me when i did that.
Edit: you actually dont have to wait for it to download completely, just when it starts downloading, then canceling the download, and running the launcher,
