so I played v.50 for almost an hour and all i can say is that you should wait at least a year or two, the game is poorly optimized there's always an fps buffering especially when you drive a car it goes between 30 to 10 fps and for map its big o right but empty and for the zombies there is no reason to kill them , they have no loot like I said wait at least a year, maybe then it'll be playable
I just tried to play today i'm not sure what they did but it's horrible now! I new "3D" view is so choppy the game is now very difficult to do anything i'm so glad i didn't waste my money on this! I have a gaming rig and i turned everything off and it was still bad! They were getting close to having a really good game now they blew it! I'll still wait though to see what their "Final" game is like maybe they can turn this around let's wait and see!
Looks like they are still stuck on version 0.2.1 today i went to a different site and was able to download and play version v0.6 SSE the game is slowly getting better! 5IDROW codex reloaded has the 0.6 version if anyone wants to try the most up to date version out.It seems it's going to take a long time before this game becomes something everyone wants the dev is making it happen just very slowly well looks like time will tell eventually by the time he finishes all the tech will be obsolete!
i tried the updated version 0.50 and when it gets dark you cant see anything even with a big flashlight it's really really bad unless your inside a lit building it' makes it impossible to really do anything other then die as all i did was run into countless zombies and died without even seeing anything they made the night time part very very boring because players cant see anything and they made it so night lasts an hour long! So you get to do nothing for an hour!
i tried the game zombies walked right thru the walls! as i was exploring i walked thru a few walls too! It reminds me of a very early version of dayz. Well i'm looking forward to trying this in a few years i hope it gets better like dayz did! While i was playing 40 min into the game sadly my character refused to attack or even defend against a zombie! I ran and was able to jump up on a vehicle to stop the zombie attack i went into controls to try and use a different key but no matter what my character refused to swing his crowbar so with that i'm uninstalling this game maybe in 10 years this game will be better or forgotten but looking at it i don't get a good feeling.
If you want it request it! Looks like an Iranian site is offering it but the catch there is when you go to download it you have to pay them! They only offer 2.5gb files for free and the files are 5gb! 'A Walking Dead-Esque, open world survival game, procedurally generated, with both Online and Singeplayer gamemodes' Dozens of similar attempts have been tried and failed, another crowd-funded open world survival game? Nothing new or innovative. That being said I'd love to see it succeed, it's just not at that point yet. Hey everybody! The game runs really nice. There are parts that lag when heading into unfinished zones but the game is a wip. If you play this version long enough you'll get used to the minor bugs and learn to avoid them. Can't use your weapon? Restart the game. Now here is my issue and I'd love to know if anyone has a work around: After I exit the game and reload I don't spawn where I left off and any fortifications/storage I've built, or inventory I've stored not on myself resets, disappears. Id continue playing this version if it saved structures and fortifications. Any help here???
WOW it looked like it might be good but as soon as i started to play i could see the bugs the keybinds dont work. I found a few backpacks i could look thru them and i clearly have an empty space to put a backpack on but the hitting the key did nothing! I tried to get on the atv i did the 1st time but when i tried the 2nd time there was a loud noise and the atv went flying all the way into the sky! I found the key to change the perspective of the player but hitting it did nothing.This is the 2nd game i've come across which i feel they released way too soon before the game even works right.Do NOT go into the plane there is a small broken section if you go into you cant get out!!! It's at the perfect level where you cant climb under it and you cant jump back onto the planes floor so you get trapped!!! UTTER DISAPPOINTMENT! in this i dont think the dev even bothered to play test this crap! This game is a very early alpha i think once they fix the bugs it should be ok. The game runs nice but i'm testing it on a gaming rig so please dont go by me everyones experience will vary but the key binds dont work! even if you change them sometimes they work most times they go back to the default mode.Sadly i can NOT play this in it's current state it's not fun and very aggravating trying to play a broken game. lets see what the future will bring this game.For now i cant play this game! It's just a broken mess we can hope it gets better good luck everyone!
My friend the game is still in closed beta, this was cracked by one of the people who got the game early. The game is no where near completion. So hold your fucked up comment for yourself and do more research on what your playinjg. Go buy the game baka.
Nah i'd rather let everyone know what they are in for so they wont be as surprised and disappointed as i was! It looks like it's further along then it really is. Sorry if you want this information to be censored but this is the internet (freedom of information) So it's NOT going to happen, kinda like your game right now! LOL!!! One can see a lot of hard work went into this game but Why would you recommend buying a broken incomplete Early Alpha game? I only buy completed games! But we are all hoping you can keep fixing and patching the game! I downloaded torrent and extract all files.But after launch deadmatter.exe it starts Steam and Steam says aboat error with update. Its possible to crack it somehow pls?
No as stated before this is actually a closed-alpha build. I already experienced some crashes and I gotta say that the zombie spawning/ai is still.. well let's just say it's not that great. I encountered hordes of 30 zombies after like 2 minutes of aimlessly running around in a overshadowy forest and got killed for good. Then I did the same and I noticed every time I shot a bullet I would get flooded by zombies coming out of the forests to go to my last shot position. Certainly a very WIP build. BUT Open Chat with Y and type in / you'll find some useful commands to playtest the game. Just be aware that some equipment can cause the game to crash on equipping. Like the Military Jacket. Also if anybody could tell me how I could put any gun attachments on it would be nice to know.
It's a very early closed alpha, the point is they are just showing what they are working on, i think its got potential tbh, of course theres gonna be mad issues in the alpha
I can't seem to make the game work, when I go to single player all I can see is a vast sky nothing else though the shooting range (seems to be the tutorial of the game?) is working. Or maybe I'm missing something?

If you tried the game then keep in mind its CLOSED ALPHA and it says so everywhere in the game its not even meant to be for the public, its not the full release at all.
Fuck these game developers anyway. I actually backed them and they were supposed to send out all the keys but the whole thing is a clusterfuck. Their website I am supposed to get the key from is a barely functioning brick. I'm just going to pirate it myself at this point. Seriously, do not give these morons your money.
A correction i would like to add is build a game or build a website is 2 different thing. you asking Team work vs Solo and that is stupid to compare because it no point to compare. now a day website is so easy to build that a single person is able to build a function website in a week. Even they have test it work but there are limit amount of people online at the same time due to hardware limit so a function website not meaning not lag or slow.
building a simple website that actually works is WAY easier than making a huge survival video game. if they can't handle the one, what makes you think they can do that latter?

So if a server is handling millions of requests then it will slow down and lag. There are several ways to circumvent this issue, but all of these cost a ton of money. YouTube has Google, which spend 100s of millions a year to keep up to day. Netflix makes custom built racks that they install in local data centers to alleviate congestion. If Quantum Integrity Software were to upgrade their existing servers (EDIT: it's most likely that they rent their servers) all it be is a waste of money in the long run. As it would mean less funding towards the game
