I am indeed a hater and I gotta say it has amazing graphics, intense combat, and kills that are just gruesome, but none of that matters if the story doesn't go hand-in-hand with it. The first one had an amazing story and good gameplay, so this one was a huge dookie let down, at least for me.
EFAP have pretty much tackled every argument that TLOU2 apologists have made, including this one. You can safely go as far as to say that the game is objectively shit for all intents and purposes.
