I am playing DAY 202 but I can not sail to other islands (I did 3 only) everything is hidden. Who can help? I tried with new versions of game but it is always the same. My task is to make armored ship but there is no option for it? HELP!
PTPA The game design feels like the designer decided i had to play it the exact way he/she played it. Each villager has unique perks. It creates a interesting dynamic. I think most will be very pleased with the features and level of customization. This game shows a lot of promise. It has a great art style like the first game, and the concept is still good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJ3R_U2EsfQ
Hey guys, does anyone know if there is going to be an update, will the game update automatically or I have to download it again? And my world will be deleted? Thanks in advance
Based on my experience. Every time there is new update you have download it all again. As for the world/saved file is depend on the game it self. Whether it can support old save file. Most of the new games don't support it. But there are also some support it. Like i said depends on the game it self.
If and when it's updated you'll probably have to uninstall this and download then install the new one. You'll keep your saves though unless they're stored in the game folder (it's very rare especially for Steam games). If you want the game to be updated you can issue a request in the relevant section when it's out ("game request" at the top of this page).
They usually keep games up to date but sometimes for some less popular games you need to ask. And it all depends if the scene did an update in the first place anyway. They don't "make" updates here they just upload the scene ones.
Good game, Played it for 3 houre, no proplem so far for me and there is new patch: Dynamic difficulty adjustment Worker spawn rate increased if too many were lost. Worker spawn rate increased slightly Final Battle end content bug fix whaiting for the patch
yea 1.0.18 here. but 1.0.19 Increased storage capacity of all resource deposit buildings at all levels. Added a popup on top of workers to notify if the storage capacity of buildings is full to give more indication when there is no space available to deposit more resources. Fixed building rotation 180 occupies correct tiles on the ground. Fixed hut maximum achievement unlocks at 12 instead of 15 (For some reason it didn't work as intended in the previous update) Bugfix with crafting when multiple items. Now workers don't wait to finish one item if resources are not available instead workers can craft multiple items even when another item is already in under construction.
Okay so, the game overall lacks a lot of quality of life features, content and has quite a bit of bugs The only good part is the very early game because it shows some potential, but the further you go the more flaws shine First issue that made me absolutely mad was the storage, some objects have it shared between multiple resources, you have NO WAY AT ALL to set limits on how much to fill up with given one nor which stockpile is for what so to maintain balance you need control their output, wouldn't be that bad if the game at least gave you data on how much you produce of what The second is the micromanagement, which is ironic because I just complained about lack of it for storage. New workers arrive? Assign them to a house manually, give them gear manually, assign them to jobs manually, each of those actions is done one by one and has no method of bulk assigning or automating. This also carries through for level ups, each point has to be assigned manually. The third is pacing. It's slow, painfully slow, if you are like me you will end up with everything half empty because the game just refuses to give you more workers, I have a ton of free housing, massive food overproduction, no issue to stop them from coming but here we are And finally, the quality of life features (or lack thereof), minor quirks and bugs. As stated before, nothing can be automated at all, it's a chore not a game. Gear on workers who died disappears into ether, I wouldn't be too mad about it if there was at least some sort of explanation, like iunno a traditional burial in their gear or smth. Finally the bugs, sometimes the clock stops working correctly (time still passes, it will just stop showing you how much day/night is left), construction markers won't disappear after building is complete and same for the construction animation, building things too close to each other or the trees can make your workers stuck. Overall it's an absolute mess not worth more than a short play in it's current state.
Thanks for the quick review :) It's a pity, the aesthetic looks really nice, reminded me of Bad North and Islanders. Maybe in a year or two it'll be playable.
What Banana said +1. Workers sometimes get stuck if u build houses too close to each other. And it looks like they do not want to work when they are waiting for level-up. I might try to download this game again in 6 months.
no key shortcuts, you have to click on everything, also building can be awful since buildings overlap eachoter making them impossible to place.
having to micromanage every villager gets REALLY tedious, i got to day 30 before getting bored, swapping them around every 2 minutes is awful.
if someone gets killed you're fucked since now you cant use villager 1 for the role he was in, now he's on guard duty leaving role 1 unattended [point 2]
weapons/tools unequip themselves after you reassign a villager to a role that cant have said item. [point 2]
there is 1 wave of night monsters, and day animals, making roles of guards and hunters useless for most of the time. would be quite nice for mobile, which i think this game is.
... Nah ... IMO, just plain bad ... Micromanaging for each villager already a nightmare, not to mention if they died ... Need major patch for gameplay too ... it is a trainwreck as it is now ...
Had fun battling the wolves!

because i got so many bugs that the real bugs around my house got scared and fled.
