I have seen that alot of people have problems with downloading mods for factorio. But actually its really simple to do! All you have to do is go on the official factorio website with mods (https://mods.factorio.com) and find the mod that you like. Then you have to copy the link to the mod page (example: https://mods.factorio.com/mod/space-exploration)(Make sure to also get all the dependecies!). When you have all the links copied you have to head on this little dandy website i found wich downloads the mod from the link onto your device (The website: https://re146.dev/factorio/mods/en). After pasting the link in required box you should scroll down to click the download button. After the file downloads just open the factorio folder and paste the contents of the .zip into mods folder and thats all! Hope i helped <3

just to let you know you can play multiplayer but it has to be dedicated or lan and factorio dont let you have dedicated server stuff anymore what i did was use this webiste https://factorio.zone/ you just go on choose your region version which is the latest and start server, copy the server ip and port and log when in the game choose your character and paste the ip and port in and your done it autosaves and you can download the map once your finished so you can carry on at another point have fun :)
New version's out already m8. 1.1.48 Multiplayer's been working great even with others who have bought it, as long as the version's the same. It's annoying that they update so often though, but at least the game's just been getting better and better. Thank you for your hard work.
The multiplayer in LAN works perfectly fine. Also , be careful with the pollution or mutant biters. They will attack and destroy you. 2 Players can kill biters spawners using tanks but the acid is like a spiderweb, if them catch you then you're dead.
For anyone looking for mods. You are in luck, a brand new discord server has a bot that can do just that for you. It is currently being reworked from ground up to also include other things such as public servers for anyone to play, or giveaways for the legit copy of the game.
Hi I was hoping someone might help me with my download. I extracted the game no problem, but when I hit Factorio.exe, I get an error message about "Couldn't create lock file" I am pretty lost and would really like to get this game to work. Any help would be appreciated! thank you.
I found out on myself but If anyone else doesn't know just do this. Go to C:\Users*\AppData\Roaming\Factorio and copy config, mods and saves folder as well as achievements.dat and player-data.json files. Paste them all to Facorio's v1.1.96 folder.

Does anyone know how to use mods in the cracked version? Downloading of the mods isn't the main issue, the problem would be the verification in the game client, I don't know how to get around that...
Where do you download the mods currently? i used to download them from ittlword-factorio but their tool to download directly from mods.factorio by copying the link has been down for a while...
