I can rant all day about the good and the bad of this game but i just wanna say that it feels so unsatisfying. The creators created such loveable characters, yet even in the sole happy(?)/true ending, they still suffer. I want to see them happily smile, even if they don't become a couple yet no matter what ending i got, it's just hollow or sad, twisted or downright depressing. I know it's dark even before playing it, but in retrospect, maybe i shouldn't have. I need some sugar and fluff to heal my soul..... Seriously, unless you are a sadist i doubt you can completely enjoy the game, so please save yourself and don't play it. If you still decide to play though.... well, i hope you can at least enjoy some parts of the game, since the 18+ scenes are very well done.
Yes the ending when they took the train and just said "we will see us next time?" or something like that I think the happy end depends on the players, maybe the ending where Seiji becomes a s*x addict is a good ending for some crazy players

so... i've been waiting on this game's english translation for over 2 years now. i downloaded it from here and was really excited to play it. finished one of the routes yesterday and went to sleep afterwards, pretty pumped to resume the next day. when i tried to start it again this morning, it doesn't open and this is all that pops up. translating the text, it says the following: "[target file] data/script/eris/es_gsd.yst [location] line no. 163 [contents] invalid file." this is not only really disappointing to me but also unsettling. i can't find any game data on my hard disk (except for the .rar itself and the extracted content) nor any file under that name. the fact that it's in japanese makes this all really weird too; isn't the patch from the official mangagamer english translation? worst case scenario, i'll just have to delete the game and redownload it. i'd rather not though, since i saved a ton of times already and starting from scratch would be a real bummer. i have no clue how to fix this. does anyone?
update: in the end i tried everything i had knowledge of but nothing worked, so i just deleted and re-extracted the game. before doing so, i copied all my save data from the 'save' folder in the game (if you're familiar with visual novel .rar patches, you know that works in very likely any case) and replaced the new one with it. wouldn't open. same message, same issue, different line number. upon deleting the folder's contents again, it opened no problem. i guess i'll really have to replay the entire game (not like that's appalling though, since i enjoyed it; just pretty frustrating) but if anyone has any clue of what might've happened, please let me know. i'd say it's just a corrupted save file but i can't say for sure.
I played this shit and it's entirely focused on the gay shit. Like hardcore gay shit. It's ashamed because the set up was interesting. I played Hashihime of the Old Book Town which is boy love but the gay shit was low key. It was very subtle and it took a back seat behind everything. That one was a good visual novel. This one however, is just for the gay guys to get a fap in imo.
