story is very short for a 40$ game... it's the anime season 1 (+Ais's spinoff season) the visual novel layout looks very simple, static characters, powerpoint transitions, if you watched the anime you'll just hold skip on it all. took me few mins over 3 hours get to end of main story, only game over on final boss cause apparently dashing is slower than regular moving lol. gameplay is much too simple you can go light attacks all day and dodge, magic is there too but i never needed it. you can get through main story without extra grind just use what you get. there's postgame 3 dungeons and date scenes with various characters, for both Bell and Aiz and Bell and Aiz, THEY DON"T SHARE ANYTHING, not gear, not money, even unlocked gear from the market is seperate, even in postgame.

I actually enjoyed the first season of the anime. The second one was disappointing and this game is just horrible. Most likely even if they could have explored the dungeon deeper and in return expanded the story, they most likely don't have the skills to make anything decent anyway. This game could have been made in the 90's from a graphics standpoint and most likely even back then would have been seen as crap. In earlier years it was shitty movie license games, now it's shitty anime license games...

It's got me beat why a developer, any developer, would - in this day and age - make a game with a time limit mechanic. It blows my mind. What else did they chuck in this game, escort quests? There's a reason they dropped the time limits from the Atelier series. I was willing to give this a try, but at the first mention of a time limit, I was out.
