basically just copy paste this crack (Speed2.exe) to your game directory..
in case you didnt know how just right click on your NFS Underground 2 Desktop Icon and click on ''Open file location'' and voila! there's your game directory .. just copy and paste it there.
it worked for me so i'm pretty positive it'll work for you too.

I downloaded the game and use daemon for the file and what happened is it changed the icon of my data disk and change the icon and now I couldn't change the name nor the Icon I did everything to fix it again but nothing happened anyone how to fix it??

Any fix for the "Please insert disk 2" thing that shows up? I've tried Mohd Zackyyy's fix but it won't work for me. It worked absolutely fine when I had a DVD drive plugged into my PC though...

For those who already installed it and can't open the game (basically where you double click the game and nothing happens) try this solution:
right click on your taskbar and click ''start task manager'' find the need for speed exe (its shown as SPEED2.EXE) right click on it and click ''end process''
if you dont have the SPEED2.EXE on your task manager then just follow this next step.
Right click on your NFS Underground 2 desktop icon and click on properties, and then click the compatibility tab, on there thick the ''run this program in compatibility mode for:'' box (mine Windows XP Service Pack 3 by default .. your might be different but it doesnt matter just thick the box)
and then thick the ''run this program as administrator'' box at the bottom and you are good to go.

I know someone is gonna come and say that this is not the first time im downloading a game and specially crack or an old school game where they still use disc. I already have daemon tool ready since years ago.
the crack is not included. Plus i only think to replay this while waiting for code vein, its cracked already so nvm.

I think this game file is not complete or something, it is an old game so its understandable, but the crack is not included in the ISO. You can run the setup it will install, but when u try to launch it, it'll say insert disc 2, i try finding a patch or the crack only from other places but doesnt work too. Guess cant go back to this, i ran out of things to play really. :/

Hi I play on Mac. I managed to download and install the game with the Google Drive link and then launching the game through The Porting Kit. But it is on the lowest level of details and when I try to raise it, my macbook freezes, I have to turn it off, restart it and then it says "insert disc 2" while 5 minutes ago it started the game with no problem. My macbook can run Batman Arkham City (2011) and Star Wars The Force Unleashed (2009) on medium / high settings and they are heavier games so I don't understand why it can't run a 2004 NFS on medium.

1. extract part 1 or 2 anywhere you like
2. open DAEMONS Tools Lite and click Quick Mount.mark the extracted location and go to the ISO folder and type "Underground 2 - CD 1.bin" (without quotation marks)
   
3. click setup and wait until it appears for you to put disk 2
4. do the same thing as in number 2 only write "Underground - CD 2.bin" (without quotation marks)

I found the easists most working solution EVER. You CAN mount the
original bin files. With Daemon Tools lite, click quick connect and go
to the ISO folder. Then type Underground 2 - CD 1.bin and click open.
Easy. Worked for me. Try it now! ;)

i also found another solution on how to install the game
Required app:
Either "PowerISO" or "MagicISO"
[Skip this step if you don't have this problem]

1. First you need to go into the program and chage the readme file.
   What i did was i got the readme file the internet then replaced it with the one on the disk.
2. While the program is open grab the sdat.viv file out of the cd bring to someplace but don't put sdat.viv file in the install folder because we will need that later then close the program.
3. Install the game like you would normally then when you get to the sdat.viv error copy the entire folder of NFSU2 to the place where you put the sdat.viv file before you press cancel.
4. Once you copied it put the sdat.viv file in the copied game put the crack on the copied install and play

Ooookay so I found the solution how to play the game.
Required app:
Just "PowerISO" yes, just that.

1. Make a new folder anywhere you like.
2. Open the .bin files inside the "ISO" file with PowerISO.
3. Extract the CD 1 first into the folder you just made and also inside that folder have a .zip file named "http://compressed.zip", extract it in there.

3.5) Do the same to CD 2 and CD 2 also have that "http://compressed.zip" so do the same again.

just found another way to install game just replace readme file in magic iso i can't show you what i did because can't share links

It's hard to install that game. There are 2 .bin not .iso files so:
you have to convert it to .iso format.

1. Download Magic ISO app (free not registered is enough)
2. Convert part 1 and part 2 from .bin to .iso
   One file is damaged... (support/redme.txt) and installation will not work correctly.
   But listen to me:
   Download PowerISO (free not registered is enough) and copy files from part 1 to your desktop. ALL FILES FROM PART 1 OF GAME!
   Then burn part 2 in DeamonTools
   Open Part 1 from your desktop ( setup.exe or AutoRun.exe )
   And choose MINIMAL INSTALATION - this is the only way to install game, because instalator will miss that file which is damaged.
   THIS IS THE ONLY WAY AND GAME IS WORKING!!! ( I downloaded this from MegaUplodad )

the problem is when i unmount the "NFS Underground 2nd Disc" bin. file in "CD Drive(G:)", run the game and it say "insert the 2nd disc". it seems like the game only work when you still mounting Underground 2nd disc in "CD Drive(G:)" althought you already installing all the required file in "NFS Underground 2" directory file no matter what

Why you think there must be a setup.exe file? There can be ISO or crack.

Note: I just donwld. the parts and the game is in 2 discs, each with a .bin extension. If using Daemon tools, you should change the extension to .iso to mount it, just for you guys to know. The game crashes once in a while but is playable and really fun. Sorry for the poor english. Great game
