When I open the game and select the base game it tries to sign in to GOG galaxy and it goes on forever. Help? someone below me suggest to Remove Galaxy64.dll & GalaxyNative64.dll but WHERE DO I FIND IT??

The reason the game is not working for some people is just the windows 10 update just update again and it will work i have encountered the same issue but fixed it with the update i even finished the game and got the demo mode now 😃
i have this same problem... i tried to run as administrator, i added exclusion to windows defender, even i tried to disable VT in bios... nothing worked...
the game runs perfectly, but it needs several minutes to load between screens, even those screens you can cross in 5-10 seconds, does anyone know a solution for this problem?
Sounds like a problem with your hard drive speeds. Since you have a laptop, you're probably gonna want to get an external HDD (120gb are usually only $20, which is more than enough for a game like this.)
i have this problem as well, my pc isn't the greatest but it can run this game at a solid 60 fps but still the loading screens can take up to 30sec and sometimes even crash the game, i played a lot of games which were "bigger" than this game but none of them took this long to load areas.

it does actually, some people with lower spec have a problem of not being able to launch it or it crashing on certain animation that takes up some ram space or spike the ram usage. it might be related to how they code the animation, cause this kinda thing happen once with a game called Crosscode, theres one update where they kinda mess up the coding of an area related to how the "ice" particle is made, and some people with 4 ram will always have their game crash, while me having above that have no problem.
