Anybody else thinks that 80s games are worthless?
I think that 90s games have aged like fine wine (Megadrive, Super Nintendo, Neo-Geo, and of course PC games as well), but this...
Unless you played them back then and therefore feel super nostalgic, I think they're unplayable.
Of course, I'm not talking about late 80s, which were already great.
Golden Axe, Strider, Final Fight, Crime Fighters, etc.

one day not so long ago...
i showed my niece these old arcades, and a selection of konami and williams.. you know. and she just said "these games are ghetto." so i said "some of these are the best games ever made. here's why..." and loaded robotron. it totally shredded me in wave 6 or 7, but she got into it. "ok let me try." and she nearly broke my controller trying to survive the first wave.
this decided me to go a step up. smash tv. we had a great time. must have been an hour playing that together. i just kept dropping more virtual coins in for her until we got to the end... which was cool for me too cuz i'd never seen it before.
anyway, point is we probably all draw lines, and often for the wrong reasons. it takes the right situation/company/mood to change your mind. but it can change.
edit: on the other hand, there's so many games to play you sure can afford to be choosey.

thats a fanslation not localizedfrom the dev team. it's important to anyone that cares abotu splatterhouse, as the endings are canon to the storyline/.
fan translations are fine, but I prefer the devs to do it to preserve their intent.

well duh obviously is not an official translation
but with or without translation this game is not rocket science, you dont need to do specific things cuz theres no alternate endings

I remember watching the anime Tower of Druaga. Kinda made me want to look for the namesake game it was based on... It was horrible.
The MMO version was alright tho.

Druaga anime is a mix of the old bandai brand name with the sequel, then later mixed the mmorpg with the anime. I've watched gameplay but honestly looked infested with bots at the time.
