You have to rename the file (or all of them, so they have the same format – i.e., part1, part2, and part3) and will combine properly when extracted. Also, don't forget to change the compatibility settings of the exe/shortcut to Win 7 and disable the fullscreen optimizations, otherwise you'll hang with a black screen when launched). Can you specify what you mean "copied the crack folder"? Thats the step I dont understand. Do I need to copy the files inside or the folder? Copy to where? I pasted it into where there were most items, but after replacing the files, it doesn't even open ("the system cannot open this file" instead of just asking me to login to Uplay.) Now, I've reinstalled everything and completed all the steps up to "4- Copy the crack from PROPHET\Crack dir". Please help.
Try checking your antivirus logs and see if it deletes any files on the crack folder/game folder. Make sure when you copy the crack it overwrites the files, if it doesn't then you copied in the wrong place.
Hm, I checked antivirus, nothing was deleted. Just copied and replaced again and it worked (?). Had some trouble with fullscreen bug, but now its running fine (probably). Thank you for help.
hello, i have problem with might n magic heroes vi, when start ikon game, just stuck at images below, nothing happened, i copied crack to directory game, go to properties-compability icon game, checklist run administrator and disable fullscreen optimization, still same problem, anyone have clue ?
Try to re-install the game in non-root directory (i.e not C:) and then run the game. It should start with a blank dark screen or request to connect to Ubisoft servers, if so then disable fullscreen after closing the game using task manager (more efficient than alt+tab or alt+f4).
Is this actually the Complete edition? It only seem to be Shades of Darkness for me...unless I'm doing something wrong with Uplay etc, as I do own the game.

That's a bug that's present in the retail version of the game. You need to go to C:\Users\Documents\Might & Magic Heroes VI\ and open the file ProfileData with Notepad (this is for Windows 10). Then, find Fullscreen and change it to Windowed That's the fix that worked for me.
Thank you very much. Also, for me the last folder I needed to open was named "reloaded" rather than "computername". There were two lines about full screen, so I just replaced "Fullscreen" with "Windowed' and it worked. Thank you again.
