this version have full voice while the first version have partial voice even on PC. also this second entry is better with art quality and quantity. first version is like nintendo ds port to pc with 360p scale to 1080p. my god. art is quite blur

Cool. Looks pretty neat. I mean. I guess I see the similarities in Mega Man but I'm watching a game play video right now and it seems quite different to me.
the original gunvolt I drop it because of not getting true ending. require something that need a little bit of gamling. and if out of luck replay that stage again. that is a pain. so no.
for gunvolt 1 the true ending wasn't random at all, just pick up the jewels when you find the jewels you'll see an icon on the stages so you know you have it. Collect all 7 jewels hidden in various stages and talk to Joule afterwards to get her handmade necklace and equip it BEFORE the final boss stage, it changes the ending to be honest, that's it, the final fight doesn't change at all just "story" changes it's such a short game you can finish it 100% in like 2 days and super easy the 2nd game needs like 80% of all the side missions done for both characters, so in my opinion much more annoying especially for sucking at megaman games.
looking it up looks like you have to beat final boss (bad ending), and then after the ending, load game and talk to her in base as shes no longer missing, then she gives you necklace if you have all 7 jewels found, THEN you can do the true final boss Games so short i dont remember doing the last boss twice lol
you can't find it. but at the end of each stage. I have to pick 3 to 5 ? box. and so far of all entire game first gamethrough I got 3 green gems from gambling LOL
Nibba, I completed the PC version with both Endings. The secret gems ARE there. Of course you to look every nook and cranny of the game or look it up online. Funny thing though I heard trainers mess up the game causing some things to not appear...but hey I get you, these games aren't for casuals.
yeah i don't think you're looking at the right gems, there's one hidden in every stage besides the intro stage and final stages. you'll see the gem icons on the stage screen, there are 7 total. the boxes you pick at the end are materials for making stuff in shop, those boxes have no bearing on ending i got best ending without realizing it cause those gems are super easy to find, but you can look it up easily
lol. perhaps exploring every nook isn't my thing. I got to final stage with everything from intro stage. no upgrade. finding material to craft something. I always missing material. lol. 2d side walk , left to right isn't my thing.
after trying it out for almost a hour i can say i didnt like it its not worth the download for me but then again you may like it it reminds me of older metroid/megaman type games
