Waking is action, adventure, 3rd person, exploration, limited interactive game where you have to explore and interact with various stuff on your way like demons. Game environment is amazing. Nice graphics and details. Music and sounds exist. 3.6 gb installation, no uninstall file🤔. Overall, I rate it ⭐⭐⭐
Please don't click on screen while game loads, black screen will appear and game will show "not responding screen". Wait for sometime, game will load, but it run slow on my system. It's uh... interesting. "Combining third-person action and guided meditation" more like combining third-person meditation and guided action. As you could see from the comments below me, there's not a lot of gameplay on this one, but the overall context of the narrative is pretty good on its own right. I personally enjoy this one quite a lot. And I would recommend you to try this one out for yourself.
Looking at the reviews on steam you either get a mental breakdown and cry or get bored by the gameplay, guess that just means we don't have a heart cuz i also got bored
I'll admit, the part where they had me meditate and remember a pet from my early life, then had me select the avatar that looks like him to accompany me in the game gave me some feels...especially when I found a little ghostly avatar that looked just like my dog down to the size and fur length.
It's playable as in it's not bugging out wildly but it's a strange one with a lot of interesting ideas. I respect the idea they were going with, I just wish the budget and manpower scaled along with the ambitious vision and scope.
