In case you're interested, the design is a bit inspired by a French video games magazine from the 90s, called "Consoles+", which was itself an "adaptation" of the British magazine "Mean Machines". For me, the best gaming magazines ever and a big part of my childhood. I grew up reading the reviews of Megadrive, Super Nintendo and NeoGeo games. I really wanted to "revive" them online somehow, using the exact same design. Definitely, these magazines were a bit childish(in a good way imho), not to be taken too seriously(most reviewers were extremely biased but wrote in a very funny way), using way more pictures than text, and they were extremely colorful. Unfortunately, I realized very fast that my design abilities were very limited especially on Blogger. Maybe I could have done it on Wordpress... But anyway, now I gave up on this and found another activity. Even if I wanted to work again on this, I don't have time anymore, unfortunately.
