Just a word when using Unity... Limit the frame rate to 30 or 60... DO NOT use the default setting to unlimited. And maybe move the animations and GPU processing to the fixed update

Terraria's bloody great, but you need some sort of tutorial to really get into it. Almost no mechanics besides core progression are really explained, so if you want to make the most out of the game, you need to learn the movement, how & when to use the smart cursor, how weapons, armor and accessories work, etc. etc. If you've got a friend who plays the game a lot, and most importantly knows how to teach it well, you will love playing it for sure. Playing solo is great too, but requires more skill in general.
