With game like this, maybe we should have a separate "walking simulator" genre. And for a game called "The Tower" the lack of climbing any tower is baffling
Gotta love all of this "you can make your own game too!" software coming out. I knew this day would come way back when Visual Basic and RPG Maker became mainstream. I foresaw poor foreigners that could barely speak English pumping out trash for PC like 20 years ago lol. Queue aspergers kids, furry and weeb tears.
All in all, I think it all depends on the creator itself, Undertale was made in GameMaker ffs. It's quite sad really, because I think with some patience and training in general, these shitty "indie devs" could at least make something good...
