Don't bother with the currently uploaded version, because -aside from the interface being in Chinese by default and needs changing in in-game options- it doesn't save data (even when running the game as admin.).
Windows 10 appears to have updated Defender recently; it doesn't respect that it's turned off and has started pulling aside False-Positives. "Simplex" is an old virus from the 90's, probably what the crack team named themselves after. In case anyone else has suddenly been arrested by Defender (even though you've manually turned it off)
How to fix this ? Already install fonts in game folder, reinstall microsoft visual c++, reinstall game with antivirus off, run as admin, restart windows, update nvidia driver, but none of that work.
This game definitely wears the Castlevania influence on its sleeve... there's nothing to write home about honestly, at least the visuals are quite nice, the music and gameplay on the other hand...
Might want to change your settings. Simple Windows Defender is good about immediately getting rid of unwanted programs and even when the rogue .exe file does download all you need to do is delete it just don't open it.
How bruv? It's just saying no once. I don't even get that exe often unless I let the pop up tab stay open too long, if you close it quick enough it can't offer that exe as it has no time to load.
ads generate revenue. and tbh anyone above the age of 12 can differentiate between real links and annoying malwares. if not then, i can only feel sorry.

the gameplay is pretty much the same as the original one for sure, the spell shooting out only in straight line, the best weapon doesnt change your attack pattern. sure the game move more smoothly and I hope this one is not short and you cant easly get the best weapon as the original one.
This game release on 2016 and rebirth on 2020. yet the dev only have this game. the original one the review seems mixed half good half bad, idk about this version it just come may 22.
