Because the missions are so so repetitive. It goes like this in almost every mission, you go to mission area > you hide behind the boxes/stuffs > you whistle > enemy comes towards you like morons > you break their neck > rinse and repeat. I honestly don't know why you even care? You realize we're on a site where we get this shit free regardless, right? I mean I'm not saying it's wrong to give criticism, but I would rather have some definitive editions in my drives then have to play the old Mafia's on emulators to get them upscaled (correctly) and Mafia 3 isn't that old, so it makes sense they didn't do much with it. Mafia 2 was released around 2010, Mafia 3 was released a little over half a decade later, or 3-4 years ago, as opposed to almost a full on decade and then 15-16 years for Mafia 2 and Mafia 1, so it makes sense. There wouldn't be much to improve for Mafia 3. I like what they're doing. Especially when my biggest problem nowadays is not knowing if I'll come back home after a trip to the grocery store with what could be a deadly virus. I'd say this is a welcome surprise rather than a big ol' problem like you're making it. What did the update mess up and why are people bombing it? I've never had this installment in the series, so I'm curious if it's worth downloading or if it's just chalked full of more problems than the last release of this game?
I just played the first two missions, no freezing, no bugs, game works as intended, not sure where did those come from... probably some brats with their potato PC still insist to play this game.
Well, they bombed it the first time mostly because the lead character was a black guy and not an Italian, so I'm guessing they're bombing this version because it's a remastered black protagonist?

You are making ZERO sense here. What do you mean naming mafia titles differently? This is a re release of Mafia 3 with all the DLC bundled in, hence why it's called definitive edition because that's what a definitive edition is
Mafia II Definitive have better graphics and all dlc, Mafia III Definitive have all dlc, later there will be a Mafia I Definitive but will be a complete remaster, not just a upscale like Mafia II Definitive is. So: the Definitive edition of Mafia III means all dlc, the Definitive edition of Mafia II means upscale graphics and all DLC, the Definitive edition of Mafia I will be a complete remaster and all DLC. This is not a clear way to name and promote a game, some people will be confused.
