Hey, if anyone has the problem of "Error reading application id. Please either write it to steam_appid.txt or use the launcher" upon running the .exe, downloading Steam (no need to register an account, just click on it and make sure it has installed any updates) fixes the issue. Prior to this game, I do not have Steam but somehow installing it fixes the issue. I'm pretty sure this issue has nothing to do with the game, and more onto my (client) side.
You downloaded from torrents or Direct link? If it show steam login, it is not cracked, try manually applied the crack to it, and while doing that please disable the antivirus.

Try to disable your Windows Defender if you don't have any antivirus installed. Once you double click on the ISO file it will not extract the ISO contents, it will just mount a ROM Drive in your My Computer, and try to check if the Setup.exe is there?

It definitely looks good! I sense a very classic Blade Runner/Cyberpunk-esque vibe from it.. I think it could have benefited from voice over work in it.. but I understand that things like that just aren't feasible with many indie games..
