The game works, guys. Download from Megaup.net. Choose to install everything. Then copy the \Binaries\ directory to the installed game. Overwrite files as necessary.
Then run the LifeIsStrange.exe found in Win32. it won't ask for Steam but run perfectly from there.
Do I really have to explain what a false positive is? The method used to crack games is similar to the method used to code malware! Anti-virus programs will detect the crack as a virus and delete it, even though it isn’t! :)
I am not a newbie i downloaded and played a lot of games from here it's the first time my antivirus gave me this warning. Tell me this why is this happening only for this game and not so many others?

I think it depends on where you dl from and at what time, because it only took me a few mins to dl it with megaup. I do prefer the google drive, but the extra steps to get around the download limit annoys me.
You're doing it wrong partner. All that garbage that you're seeing is there to throw off the trail and make it seem like it's broken garbage. Try the mega link. First few times it'll give you some pop-ups. You'll have to manage those. Definitely want to be using an ad blocker. But once you successfully download one file you'll understand the rhythm and the method to avoid any of those undesirable links that you mentioned earlier. Good luck. Once you get it, it's easy.
IGG doesn't reupload unless all links are dead, so there is no use whining in the comments. Mega up works fine, I use a cracked Internet Download Manager, and it gets at least 1mb/s for each file, even if I download ten files at once.

I read a comment below suggesting to disable windows firewall, but it didn't. Can someone help?

go download idm or xdm man itll save you time on downloads.... megaup with 9 files 5gb a piece plus two 3gb update files on 24mps speeds only takes 3 hours with idm...check ewora blog spot dot com for a crack to idm. do so at your own risks. newest version 1st build is safe as its what im using atm... of internet download manager.
you have to copy the files from PROPHET-Binaries- WIN32 then past it in where you downlaoded the game, Binaries-win32 and remember to disable your virus protection bc the crach wont work if its on
My only issue is theres 3 parts... Extracted and installed from the 1st one only and the game ran 100%.... Why yall make me download 8 gigs of extra data?
download all, extract all together as on epart, then once its done itll either have an installer like normal exe files or itll have a codex installer, if codex jus mount the iso file and copt contents directly to the installer, is its a normal exe install then mount the iso file hit install, then open the game location when finished, open the crack folder and follow the directory on it along with the exe file. codex is easiest to install but not all are from codex.
Lemme' guess, you're new here? If not, I'll say this anyway. -You would need all files/parts in order to extract. -You only need to extract the first one (Part 1). -IF you only download the 1st part and extracted, then an error/popup would open as it would ask you to find the 2nd part and 3rd part.

Go to the file where the Setup is. Open PROPHET File. Right click on the files that are in the PROPHET folder. Click Copy. Right click on the Life is strange Desktop Shortcut. Open file location. And right click again on the empty space. Click Paste. Then try playing the game. if it does not work. Go in the Prophet. Binaries. Win32. Copy all the Steam.dll files, And paste it in the folder where the game was installed.

when you open the "prophet" folder you'll see files, copy those files and paste them in the game folder just the game folder don't open anything else and if a replace file pop up appears just replace the files.

go to the life.is.strange.complete folder click the PROPHET folder and go to the binaries folder win 32 folder and grab all those files and put them in the folder carrying the game its not the same as the one were you installed the game you can find it by clicking the shortcut on ur screen and click file location then drop it in there
This version doesn't include a DLC, it only includes episode 1-5 but no DLC, you know there is a DLC in a game on this website if on the game's page, it says in red that it includes a DLC for a certain game

Everytime u see an error related to something MSVCP**.dll error, missing, installation could not be completed, couldn't be launched as example. 1st you should install the latest corresponded version of Microsoft Visual C++ here from the original website https://tinyurl.com/jqr7eec (DO NOT INSTALL from other source!) Installing dll from anywhere website it can be dangeourous like sharks, but, still a solution very appliable replace a MSVCR**.dll from the original pack into the game's folder! Yes you can install all the recent versions like 2015, 2010 etc. (but don't keep the same year and older versions) of Visual C++ no harm even Microsoft says there is.

I installed the codex part and it pops up I need to run steam. and when i do it tells me its downloading just the demo version. I extracted part 1, ran the codex and does this. Am I doing something wrong or missing anything?

Oh my God. Thank you so much. Because of your free downloadable version, I was able to convince two of my friends to play this fantastic game. Life Is Strange is absolutely a testament to how impactful a game based on narrative can be.
This game seriously shows how powerful storytelling can be. It left an enormous impact on me, like no other game could do. It's one of the few games, which you could truly call "art". It's really too bad, that there isn't any other game like this on the market. I really hope for a second season, but since the story is finished with the first season, it only would make sense, if there would be a new protagonist.

yes you need to download all parts... also if you have a similar error to that, copy the contents ofthe crack folder to the main folder. also install the directx.
In the ISO you have or in the folder where the ISO is, you should find a Crack folder. Open it, and paste all the files and the folders in it to the directory of the game (aka the folder you installed the game in). Overwrite everything if you have to.
I didn't move my ISO and when i go into the folder that has it, the ISO is all alone. When i go into the ISO i only have: setup-1.bin, setup, autorun, and CODEX folder. i have ran the set btw and have all folders

well,no but if u download all the parts,extract the file (put all the downloaded parts in the same folder or the extraction will fail),use it (the extracted file or ISO) with Daemon Tools,install it and placing the crack before lauching the game for the first time (if the antivirus is saying that the crack is a virus or trojan,then turn the antivirus off cuz its a fake alarm and also the antivirus will corrupt the crack,making the game unplayable),then u will have ALL the episodes from 1 to http://5.parts doesn't mean episodes,it means a chunk of the main ISO file that u use to install the game.

The whole game (ep1 - ep5) is 11GB when installed. Each episode should be 2GB large because you need episode 1 to play episode 2 and you need those to play episode 3 and so on.

You have to use Winrar, extract the first part, then when it's done it will ask your for the second part, then the third, so on. It will merge them into one iso that you install. Make sure you check to copy files to install directory in the installer, or it won't open. gl :)
So I got all 6 parts and then I tried to extract Part 1 but it said 'ISO File is Broken'. I tried downloading it again and it still says that it's broken.
Right click Part 1 and click "Extract here" using WinRAR. When it finishes, it will ask for/start extracting part 2, and so on. It says they're broken because they're continuations of the first.
I did, however my save files remained. If you're worried, backup the saves from your Documents folder. This includes the lip syncing updates for the previous episodes, so it can't hurt to just reinstall it anyway. :)
Yes, this is a full game download of all episodes, not an update installer. This will freshly install the game, however your save files should remain in your Documents folder, so you can continue with your past playthrough. You should back up your save files if you wish to keep them however to be safe. (C:\Users\Username\Documents\My Games\Life Is Strange\Saves)

All sorted, while installing make sure you tick the copy contents of codex directory to installdir and it works, probably common knowledge but the answer if anyone's stuck like me.
