Yeah, you are wrong again. This game has a very detailed combat system, that's probably been a pain to program. And the developer probably has another job and work on this on their spare time. And it was a free game, but the developer must have noticed that he's making some quality shit, and decided that his work is worth something, and it really is. If they wanted to milk people, they would use RPG Maker, and make several small games, not only one game made from scratch.
