So i downloaded and installed the main game, but the update does not work for it. Update nfo says it needs "SnowRunner.Lights.and.Cameras-RUNE" but the main game is "Fix and connect".

Guys who have problem with SAVE - CRASH game, you need only download from this site "Crack fixed inclu DLC" and only copy that files where you have game install and that its fixed, no more crash and autosave will save normal without crash! Hope for you will also fix that.
I had the same problem. Solution: Delete the installed game folder, reinstall the base game but don't install the crack, install the update with the installer but don't install the crack with the installer, and finally install the update crack manually. This worked for me
installed without crack, ran update without crack, still "ISDone.dll error" (no crack involved yet) Retrying same procedure, same result, during the "update" it stops with that error (should be memory related, however i have 64GB available) After this, the rollback doesnt work good so the next try gives wrong checksums on the first few packs. So basically after checking bloody 20 GB checksums, it breaks after the first 5 pack updates, and you cant reupdate because the checksum of the first 5 is wrong after update :) Did a backup of the packs and when you set the first 5 back you can run de update again, but it will break at the same spot
The exact same thing happened to me. I installed the Elamigos 14.0 update, it worked fine in a few minutes. It can only be the installer with problems, because today I installed the biomutant 1.5.0 codex update and it worked perfectly.
I don't think you can just copy-paste your old save files and go with it. This version uses .cfg instead of .dat. Even if you change all the extensions to .cfg it still might not work properly. The game also crashes when saving. If you look at the error dump it shows code 0xC0000005 with description "The thread tried to read from or write to a virtual address for which it does not have the appropriate access.". This means the SnowRunner .exe did not have proper permissions to write to a save file to save your progress. I gave the .exe max permissions and even ran the Windows troubleshooter on it which surprisingly did something. However it didn't help. The game also randomly closes without freezing, hanging or "not responding" which is pretty weird.
I have an issue where when the game starts to autosave, it would show up a crash report. If I ignore it and continue playing, anything I do will not be saved(the auto saving icon will be on the display forever) if I do close the game, no progress will be made. How can I prevent this from happening?

if your game crash and a "crash dump sending unity" window pops up, just ignore it, ALT+TAB back into the game and keep on truckin. PS: if you do that, game doesn't save after the pop-up..wasted 2 hours for find this out..guess I'll wait for the fix here...(maybe? not sure at this point...)

Try retaining that vehicle (X on xbox controller) and then selling it (go into vehicles and press Y on the vehicle you want to sell) Or just retain them and pretend they never existed

You have to go to : Documents/mygames/snowrunner/base/storage You will see two folders 0 is for the 8.0 saved games and 1638 is for this version. Copy all inside the 0 to 1638. Then go to : Documents/mygames/snowrunner/base/ storage/backupslots And do the same with the two folders 0 and 1638 You'll have your saved games from 8.0

So the problem is with your laptop's power settings... When you unplug it it goes into power saving mode or whatever it is called in your laptop... So you must change that if you want to play while unplugged.
No there isn't yet a codex version. You should copy your saved folder manually. Check the torrent page for imandra i explained how to copy your old saved game.

Actually it did work with the previous releases of the series, for example spintires: mudrunner. You could play cracked coop. That's where my friends decided to buy that game. I hope someone will find a way to get online working for this aswell! Also quite some games work with cracked online. Especially the coop ones.

You can set your saved game to have as much money as you want by editing the file "CompleteSave.dat" in C:/users/YOURNAME/Documents/MyGames/SnowRunner/Base/Storage/1638 You might want to make a backup of the files in the folder in case something goes wrong Open the file with your whatever editor you want, use the Find function to search for money, change it to whatever you would like and save it. I havent tried to, but i think you can unlock whatever vehicles/upgrades/map you would like by finding and editing it in this same file.
If you installed it and the crack correctly then the next step would be to run the compatability troubleshooter/ try running as admin. If you had the previous version (4.8) installed and updated to 4.9 you can try to reinstall the crack. If that doesn't work then either need to reinstall and only update to 4.8 or wait untill a patch comes out.

From what i had myself and read, cargo going through trailers is aggravated, collisions issues between vehicles (one vehicle become ghost and you cant interract with it at all) and objects popping in the sky or out of the map (i have 2 trailers flying, and lot of cargos i have to use for missions From what i read, a lot more crashes and instabilities Mods disable themselves all the time (but we cant have this one as we cant usesuscribe to install mods)
I did the update to 4.9, and i'vez many cargos mandatory for doing missions in all areas floating in the air 100m above the ground. I stopped playing, waiting for the 5.0. You can test by yourself, as it seems all users dont have the same issues... but be sure to backup your save files BEFORE you update, cause loosing all progress is one of the possible bugs

Some tips for beginners Before we start, Just keep this phrase in your mind when playing "looks can be deceiving" 1- before you start taking contracts, you better use a scout car to reveal the map first, or most of it, visit watch towers to uncover large spaces, one of the most important things especially for you as a beginner who don't have a lot of truck parts and upgrades, is to map all the official roads (beaten roads) so focus on them in particular 2- while you can visit the snowy Alaska soon after the brief tutorial, it's best to go back to the muddy Michigan (yes you can go back and forth between maps and transport any truck you found to different areas) I know the game is snow runner so y'all probably want to see and test snow physics, but no need for haste, you'll first need some upgrades in order to traverse the snow with less trouble, and those upgrades require leveling up your reputation and also require money 3- related to point 1, as you scout beaten roads, you'll encounter obstacles that prevent you from going further, such as rockslides or collapsed buildings, these obstacles will require you to bring material to fix them, and the factories that provide such materials maybe too far away, and may require you to go through a lot of muddy (or snowy) grounds which will take an hour or so of real time since such terrain will make your beginner vehicle move really, really slow and sometimes it gets stuck, so instead, look for nearby untowed cargo trailers and flatbeds, they may contain the things you need and will save you a lot of traveling distance 4- also related to point one - make fixing beaten paths your priority, while such missions (tasks) usually pay you less than contracts, still they do give you money and reputation, so you won't be doing them for free, believe me when I say you gonna need those roads, the muddy or snowy paths may look like a shortcut on map that will get you to your objective faster than the beaten road, but your vehicle will most likely get stuck in the mud, move really really slow, will require a lot of carefully calculated pulling with the anchor, you will end up wasting a lot of time on such "short cuts" you may even waste an hour trying to get through these paths (happened to me more than once) when you could reach the same target location in 7-13 minutes using the asphalt long road, like I said above, looks can be deceiving 5- if you have no other option but to go through rough terrain, then always use the right vehicle for the job, while the game allows you to attach trailers to scout cars, it is best not to do so if you're about to go through muddy roads, towing trailers will increases the chances of your vehicle getting stuck, so use bigger trucks that have better tires and stronger engines, and you better use trucks that are classified as heavy duty rather than trucks that are classified as highway vehicles, also if you want to move cargo but still have beginner vehicles then its best to install flatbed on the back of your truck itself rather than attaching an external trailer from behind which will have higher chances of slowing your truck and making things harder for it when going through rough terrain
Note that this appears to not be a stock Khan from the DLC. Looks like it has been modded. Has 5 engine options, all cost $1, has tons of tire options, and has a 500l gas tank. I have a friend who bought the full game and that is nothing like the Khan he got from the DLC..
I did some more digging to try to get it back to stock. Its a full-on mod version, not actually just pulling in the DLC. Since its a modded-in vehicle, it replaces one of the other vehicles, the Don-something. Its just a mod vehicle using some Khan specs and the Khan model and sounds... Knowing that I got a legit copy of the Khan vehicle code and replaced the Scout with that, but hopefully a proper crack release of the DLC comes out eventually. Also, it is modded to be able to tow scout trailers.

The drifting on asphalt occured also in mudrunner and original spintires, this isn't ets2 where you mosty drive on asphalt. If you mean by "marker is not showing the way" something like GPS, this also weren't exist in previous games, if you mean only the straight line to the marker, it's like hardcore mode on these 2 games. About the camera, I must agree, that was always a problem in these games, but you can get used to it. The truck is going faster with load in mud, becouse it has more weight on back, where most of engine power is given. Try to grab a ball or something round and try to spin it in place when pushing light and then firmly to the ground. When you have more grip?

is your game installation location correctly pointed when you do the updates? your error message seems like you pointing to the wrong location, that why it don't work.
I dont think that is the problem ( bigger half of the files scanned are scanned as valid,only the first 7 are causing problems) , i checked once again also tried to selecting completely different directory and it said "file not found" instead of "Hash sum mismatch! Required MD5: -890669826" .
Well it did run normally today, before i started doing things around the update, now when i start it starts bud before i get to start menu it shows big yellow circle on the screen and it is stuck on it. hmm...
So i reinstalled the game , started update, everything is going fine ( all files valid) , installation of update starts and suddenly this error appears ( http://prntscr.com/satjeo ) if you notice under installation progress bar there are files that were flagged as mismatch. When i start the installation of the update again it scans the files and again shows the ones that managed to be installed before error appeared as mismatch.
FIX: The problem seems to be in applying the codex crack ( the one that came with game setup) before installing the update. I reinstalled the game and ! did not apply the crack ! then installed the update and after all this applied the crack from the update file.
you used to be able to install by simply uploading to the correct path in initial.pak wich is a zip file but now theres other folders except classes so .....
yeah, the -gen means they are generic results so nothing harmful was found its just a false positive because are similar to a malware file but its harmless
you can deleted the un-needed files after installing successfully.
right click on D Drive and choose "eject"
then you can right click "delete" the file you downloaded - "SnowRunner-CODEX"
the last pics is the installed games on your folder, you better leave it where it be. make sure your games can run then you delete the folder that you downloaded.

Yes, first and second is the same contents actually. DVD drive is because the game is ripped in ISO format. Windows 10 has a built in Virtual Drive....well, just delete the 1st and 2nd pic will do.
the contents on the drive is actually from the file that you downloaded from here. Once you eject it will be gone, a temporary memory only. Once you eject it, you just need to delete the files that you downloaded and all the remaining installation files will be gone. Don't mind the thing that you ejected, you have to ejected the drive then you can delete the folder you downloaded. Do let us know what is the outcome. Cheers
Some do find this game boring, but not for me. If you drive a double cabin you will like this game more. Very realistic and the graphic details is very high, weather effect does the same too. If you noticed the terrain that you driven through before it will become more muddy and might getting you harder to move over. It is like real envinronment. I have the same problem, after I re-installed the epic game launcher and it work smoothly. My friends have the same problem but resolved by updated his graphic card, you need to update if you are not on Nvidia.
Your antivirus/windows defender ate it. Either restore it from quarantined files or if that's not possible reinstall with antivirus turned off. This should fix it
hi there, i instaled the game, made exeption in anti virus for the false positive in the crack, i played the game 2 minute and it freeze. close the game and freeze on start. it freeze for about a minute and then load for a second or two. tryed to reinstal the game and nothing, the only fix i found is not that great but if i restart my pc i can play for somewhere between 5 to 10 minute before the freeze come back. it is unplayable moving 2 second every minute. dont know what cause this but if someone had it fix it would be nice to know.
With steam games you open up "smartsteamemu.ini" where you can change anything that is connected to the steam account, including game language, appid, username and appid. But this game isn't available on Steam but Epic games. I also would like to know the answer .
which version ryzen you on? And can you check your motherboard temp when you got red screen on your game screen? just restart and go to BIOS to check. It probably overheat.
if you are playing on the pc just edit your money and experience in the save game file in \My Games\SnowRunner\base\storage\1638 you need to find ''CompleteSave'' and then open with notepad and find money or experience use ctrl+f to find, remember after edit the exp go to the Tower to levelup.
You can also go into where you got you're game is and go to SnowRunner\en_us\preload\paks\client open initial.pak then media then trucks.from here you can edit the vehicle you're looking for like how much fuel it can carry and the addons for said vehicles.If you're looking for tuz 420 go to SnowRunner\en_us\preload\paks\client initial.pak media trucks tuz_420_tatarin_tuning tuz_420_tatarin_trunk_1.xml and open it with any editing application then you can change how much fuel and repair point you can carry.
And if you want to change price or how much fuel the vehicle can carry go into SnowRunner\en_us\preload\paks\client open initial.pak then media then trucks and go all the way down to the bottom and look for you're vehicle and open it then search for fuel or price and change it to whatever you want.

Most logitech wheels should work; however, I wouldn't recommend using one as it is a bit janky and doesn't feel right. Also there are no H-pattern shifters
I got it from the RAR BG site, even after disabling my AV both the installed folder and crack folder inside iso were locked saying I need access from "Everyone" to change anything. Got IP banned for reporting/questioning it lol. Good to know I'm not the only one.

the game is in fact after waiting, running at 0.1 frame per second, or more like 30 fps for on second every minute or so, i restarted my pc and was able to play for a good 10 minute before that zero fps bug again

When you instal SnowRunner, you have CODEX , autorun , setup, setup-1 and you need to copy the files in CODEX (CODEX64.dll, epic_emu, SnowRunner) to the game files (Games/SnowRunner/en_us/Sources/BIn)

Solution: Delete the installed game folder, reinstall the base game but don't install the crack, install the update with the installer but don't install the crack with the installer, and finally install the update crack manually. This worked for me
(no crack involved yet)
Retrying same procedure, same result, during the "update" it stops with that error (should be memory related, however i have 64GB available)
After this, the rollback doesnt work good so the next try gives wrong checksums on the first few packs.
Extremely sad, now you get stuck because of bad memory management of this Setup.exe or a corrupted cdx
Tried install and updated on different disk, same thing:

So the new "level_ru_02_02.pak" never gets written.
So basically after checking bloody 20 GB checksums, it breaks after the first 5 pack updates, and you cant reupdate because the checksum of the first 5 is wrong after update :)
Did a backup of the packs and when you set the first 5 back you can run de update again, but it will break at the same spot
It can only be the installer with problems, because today I installed the biomutant 1.5.0 codex update and it worked perfectly.

The game also crashes when saving. If you look at the error dump it shows code 0xC0000005 with description "The thread tried to read from or write to a virtual address for which it does not have the appropriate access.". This means the SnowRunner .exe did not have proper permissions to write to a save file to save your progress. I gave the .exe max permissions and even ran the Windows troubleshooter on it which surprisingly did something. However it didn't help.
The game also randomly closes without freezing, hanging or "not responding" which is pretty weird.
from this site "Crack fixed inclu DLC" and only copy that files where
you have game install and that its fixed, no more crash and autosave
will save normal without crash!
PS: if you do that, game doesn't save after the pop-up..wasted 2 hours for find this out..guess I'll wait for the fix here...(maybe? not sure at this point...)

You will see two folders 0 is for the 8.0 saved games and 1638 is for this version. Copy all inside the 0 to 1638.
Then go to :
Documents/mygames/snowrunner/base/ storage/backupslots
And do the same with the two folders 0 and 1638
You'll have your saved games from 8.0

You might want to make a backup of the files in the folder in case something goes wrong
Open the file with your whatever editor you want, use the Find function to search for money, change it to whatever you would like and save it.
I havent tried to, but i think you can unlock whatever vehicles/upgrades/map you would like by finding and editing it in this same file.
If you had the previous version (4.8) installed and updated to 4.9 you can try to reinstall the crack. If that doesn't work then either need to reinstall and only update to 4.8 or wait untill a patch comes out.

From what i had myself and read, cargo going through trailers is aggravated, collisions issues between vehicles (one vehicle become ghost and you cant interract with it at all) and objects popping in the sky or out of the map (i have 2 trailers flying, and lot of cargos i have to use for missions

Before we start, Just keep this phrase in your mind when playing "looks can be deceiving"
1- before you start taking contracts, you better use a scout car to reveal the map first, or most of it, visit watch towers to uncover large spaces, one of the most important things especially for you as a beginner who don't have a lot of truck parts and upgrades, is to map all the official roads (beaten roads) so focus on them in particular
2- while you can visit the snowy Alaska soon after the brief tutorial, it's best to go back to the muddy Michigan (yes you can go back and forth between maps and transport any truck you found to different areas) I know the game is snow runner so y'all probably want to see and test snow physics, but no need for haste, you'll first need some upgrades in order to traverse the snow with less trouble, and those upgrades require leveling up your reputation and also require money
3- related to point 1, as you scout beaten roads, you'll encounter obstacles that prevent you from going further, such as rockslides or collapsed buildings, these obstacles will require you to bring material to fix them, and the factories that provide such materials maybe too far away, and may require you to go through a lot of muddy (or snowy) grounds which will take an hour or so of real time since such terrain will make your beginner vehicle move really, really slow and sometimes it gets stuck, so instead, look for nearby untowed cargo trailers and flatbeds, they may contain the things you need and will save you a lot of traveling distance
4- also related to point one - make fixing beaten paths your priority, while such missions (tasks) usually pay you less than contracts, still they do give you money and reputation, so you won't be doing them for free, believe me when I say you gonna need those roads, the muddy or snowy paths may look like a shortcut on map that will get you to your objective faster than the beaten road, but your vehicle will most likely get stuck in the mud, move really really slow, will require a lot of carefully calculated pulling with the anchor, you will end up wasting a lot of time on such "short cuts" you may even waste an hour trying to get through these paths (happened to me more than once) when you could reach the same target location in 7-13 minutes using the asphalt long road, like I said above, looks can be deceiving
5- if you have no other option but to go through rough terrain, then always use the right vehicle for the job, while the game allows you to attach trailers to scout cars, it is best not to do so if you're about to go through muddy roads, towing trailers will increases the chances of your vehicle getting stuck, so use bigger trucks that have better tires and stronger engines, and you better use trucks that are classified as heavy duty rather than trucks that are classified as highway vehicles, also if you want to move cargo but still have beginner vehicles then its best to install flatbed on the back of your truck itself rather than attaching an external trailer from behind which will have higher chances of slowing your truck and making things harder for it when going through rough terrain
