I suspect the latest update contains piracy detection and force the game to be stuck on loading screen instead of showing language and main menu. That's one way to stop piracy I suppose. 🤔
With Windows Defender, you can select to restore the quarantined/deleted file. I always have to do that too. Twice btw, because for some reason when you tell it to do that the first time, it doesn't. But when you do it the second time, it does restore the file. I always check on Virustotal too just to be certain, it's a habit. But if it says riskware or hacktool or anything like that, you just gotta know it's false positive. They're always going to see a crack as malicious because duh what we're doing is illegal after all shrugs
Checked, eveything works fine as it should. Keep in mind that the site is not gonna risk upload something that might endanger its users. Apsolutly everything's thoroughly scanned before it gets uploaded, So it's safe to download. If you're still paranoid, Maybe you should stick to CODEX and the scene release you feel comfortable with. Simplex always triggers virus total and every virus scan's gonna flag it as malicious, That is called a blog.malwarebytes.com/security-world/2017/09/explained-false-positives
virus still a problem, r u a boomer? I'm not even using antivirus at all, windows defender is enough. Just make sure not downloading/click something suspicious on the internet, dont forget to make a restore point and backup everything regularly. people so stupid searching free games and still make a complain, I download bunch of file from this site and never got any virus that ruining my working file. remember that 'crack files' sometimes acts like virus. If u don't wanna get virus...don't be a pirate. u selfish!.
When my computer detects a false virus I know how to bypass but when the browser cancels the download bcs it detects a virus, what do I have to do to force the download?
i have installed a lot of stuff using simplex and none have gave me troubles in fact i am very impressed of how this game was super compressed to 17 mbs
There isn't really a prob with simplex but usually, they don't include an uninstall for their games so what ends up happening is that we usually have to purge our system of the game files manually. Of course, every uninstaller leaves traces in the registry, etc but it's usually a pain when you can't just click or double click the uninstall executable.
remind me on my young days when I'm Playing Sea Dogs, bought Rum from Island A then Sell it on Island B or C with super marked up price. good old days :(
i doubt i may play this for a longer time i have a waiting list of games that i have never played and its getting quite big and another list of unfinished games too
