I was skeptical to try this game after reading the comments. I eventually decided to play it for a few hours and was completely blown away by the creativity, writing, and graphic design in this game. It's probably better than Cyberpunk 2077 itself, it might even be a top 10 game this year.
this opens up an idea for a cyberpunk or neo tokyo city platformer, kind of like mirrors edge. and it would be cool to see something as in depth but truly open world with no specified pathways. Although it would be nice to have it involve npcs especially with enchancements to your ability from shady street merchants, night clubs and restaurants etc. some kind of enemy would be nice but i cant think of anything specifically to not intrude in the gameplay specifically. but maybe a gta style story and gameplay?
So, apparently, there's literally NOTHING to do in the game, except exploring a city which is supposed to look "cyberpunk". My two cents? Yeah, I know you don't want it, but I'll still say it. Play the Yakuza games instead. Japanese cities are the closest you'll find to "cyberpunk", except it's more clean(which is good), and these games are really beautiful.
The solution to all that is the simplest two step formula, Step 1. Guns. Step 2. Nudity. Haven't videogames evolved past trying to cater to anita sarkeesian yet?
Yep, you can't go wrong with the Yakuza games. Can I add Deus Ex in there for this type of sub-genre. The recent ones, both Mankind Divided and Human Revolution. Also I've been playing Astral Chain on my switch, and that also has cyber themed meshed together. An enjoyable game by yours truly Platinum Games.
" ...both Mankind Divided and Human Revolution." But doesn't insufferable canadien political opinions ruin anything? No matter how good the graphics are.
You're perfectly right. Actually, I prefer Deux Ex gameplay even more than Yakuza, it's more my style. I have them all, along with the mods GMDX and Revision for the first one. ๐๐
As of recent Capcom has been pumping out some extremely fun remakes to play. Back in 2008 they brought back one of their old IPs which was Bionic Commando. ReArmed was the remake that blew me away with the old school/modern, new look, and bumpin' soundtrack. You may remember Spencer Rad the Bionic Commando, a main character with cyberpunk quality.
Buy this game for 5$ equivalent of my local currency, and have a chance to win cyberpunk 2077? I'd rather gamble my 5$ money, it will only took 4 wins in a row, so about 1/16 chance rather than being 100 out of something that might not even keep their word
Pretty hilarious that this got indexed here, too. Definitely a cash-grab attempt like Cyberprank 2069 (search for it, not gonna link this site to an article)
Yep they are saying the longer playtime you have, the more chance you will win a copy of 2077. Basically getting you to pay $10 for this, then go over the 2 hour refund time. Scam.
Better check your task manager to see if the game actually closed its process when you stopped playing. Cyberprank 2069 was known to leave itself running to artificially inflate playtime for Steam metrics
Fuck steam, they pissed me off after a shitty patch in 2004, and I uninstalled that shit, and never looked back since. Every year that passes, and especially with the launch of GOG and Origins and GREENLIGHT, fuck me, I keep getting reassured I made the right move for almost 2 decades.

I recommend it especially for no one.
