I would like to request that this upload be updated to version 1.0.6 that was released on the 1st of June, please. This update introduced English and Japanese as selectable interface and dialogue language options, instead of just default Chinese only. I was looking forward to playing this in English and no other torrent outlets have this game at its current update of 1.0.6. If that can be arranged, that would be wonderful and I would be very thankful.
Better made? That's a hard no. Controls are noticeably stiffer than even TH08. The entire time I was saying 'This is cool, but a game that came out in 2004 feels better.' Plus the playing field is just so much smaller. Touhou lets you have more than half of the entire screen with only a small border to play in. If you prefer staring at a much smaller box, well... that's on you. Next, part of the joy of Touhou is darting to the top of the screen to grab powerups (which is defunct in this game too, since you're always full power...) but here the top half of the screen is basically locked off because the stage enemies literally dive from the sides from the start. That's usually a later stage thing in Touhou and even then is pretty uncommon. Even bosses in Touhou tend to take up only the upper third of the screen, letting them fill the screen with even more bullets but giving you more space to dodge. A lot of the patterns in this game were cool. The problem is that they were so claustrophobic. Kaguya's 2nd spell reminds me of Marisa's Master Spark in IN, (with the big buildup at the back) which had a visible cue to tell you 'There's a fucking laser coming'. Here it's just 'Have fun dodging a Remilia-esque shotgun in less space than you'd have in normal Touhou'
So a game that is Eddited by a company that eddited other Toho game, and managed to release them without any Legal issue ? And even if you would like to consider that it is indeed a company that edit fan game, does a fan game make it a clone ? Nope, that's , as the title suggest it, a game made by fan, therefore with the intent to be close of the product they "fanmade". There for my nigga, it's not a clone, it is at best another (amateur) game, at worst a fangame. Very different from a pity copy that act like they invented these character (heck the title of their game even mean Tõhõ when you translate them into Japanese)
I know, I don't care, I just like to see the "fan" beeing mad at anything for no reason, and since it actually looks like a legit game (again the Editor edited some real one) it's just even more fun to see someone jumping on th eedge and call that "a clone".

Even if it has the same editor on steam it doesn't belong to the main line of touhou games because it wasn't made by the original creator. idk if you know this but im just saying.Touhou doesnt really have copyrigth or some shit so a lot of people make fangames and got profit out of it because even the creator said that touhou is mostly doujin work. And anyways is a nice series when you get hang of it.
Yes I do know this, and that's precisely because it's made from doujin that calling fan-game "a clone" is beyond retardation, and when the same editor edit this fan game (which would imply it is considered good enough to be "official" of some sort), it is no longer beeing retarded but actually trespassing the 7th realm of stupidity actively seeking way to disintegrate your brain cells. Hence why I love seeing Tohofanboibaby crying out loud at anything they don't even understand themselves but still think they are "pure original gangsta" :3
