a harsh but truthful review: "Decisions you and your party make will affect later events and even whether townspeople live or die by your hand and much more!" annnt! wrong, there isn't ANY non-linearity to this game. it is about as linear as final fantasy XIII. more so actually. you only move in one direction through the story, theres no real choices to make outside a few pointless multiple choice quizzes and why even give us our own boat when we can't use it to go where WE want to go? much like the teleport via save point function, it only has 1 preset location to travel to at a time rendering both things pointless. "Enhanced retro graphics melded with HD-quality background animations offers a more unique graphical styling presented within a dark atmosphere" -_- dude, it's a friggin RPG Maker game. how is it possible for such a game to have anywhere near impressive graphics? spoiler alert! don't click this link if you don't want to see the...final boss (what a cringy image): http://imgur.com/a/eywhk yep, apparently that's a "god". one who follows the "ultimate being" trope of being an unspeakably UGLY creature. overall a 4/10 for me. seen better, seen worse, overall simply unimpressive. o_O is this game really on steam? huh, $2...well, i guess you really DO get what you pay for sometimes.
