total is 9 characters but as of now they release the first pack only which contain 3 chars . the other 6 character will be release later on . didn't know when yet they didn't announce anything yet.

For anyone wondering why their saves are gone after the new update, the game just made a new folder for saves in the appdata folder AppData\Local\BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment\One Piece Pirate Warriors 4\Saved\SaveGames the new folder is 1957516521 for some reason, so just copy your old save from the other folder in there and you will be fine
Guys, to use the newest update, just drag the files from the update to the folder for your game. For example, the file in 'linkupdate\cmn', copy and paste to the same location in your game folder. Do this for everything in the update folder, replace files if prompted. Remember to replace the application too.

In all cut scenes the screen is always black! The subtitles appear just not the video, does anyone know why? The game runs fine by the way. The only problem i'm having is really just the actual cut scenes not playing, only the subtitles
For thoses who have problem all you need to do is to open CODEX file and then copy all the files into one piece pirate warriors 4 file and open the game and that's it
I just finished the game in 7 hour (HARD) and I could say that it's the best experience of the One Piece: Pirate Warriors series so far. Although, with cut scenarios... it's a little boring and has no interesting events. But anyway, it was a good game. To those that is having problems launching the game... put the CODEX crack files in the installation directory... also, if it's lagging, buy or upgrade your pc.

I think its an issue with the cpu compatibility, try The Intel Software Development Emulator, it's not a fix but hopfully you can open the game, but sadly if you have a low end pc the game wont be playable...
i found this game really boring and repetitive. the bosses on the map take FOREVER to defeat since they have GUARD now. and i found myself pretty much doing the same thing since chapter 1 when im on chapter 3. it feels like im playing DW8 story, you cant choose who you wanna play and its very limited even though theres like, 3 other characters you KNOW that are playable, but only in free mode. withing what...2 hours in this game? i seriously felt like this game was more of a chore to play than to enjoy. before i knew it, i uninstalled the game. maybe its because im not a one piece fan or they made the battle system REALLY boring. i mean, i played Orochis 4 ultmiate despite playing 4 and beating it, i STILL enjoyed it.

It's not working all the time. For ex. on Mount and Blade Bannerlord. You can transfer into your drive, you can make a copy, but you still can't download it because the download limit.
if its the "make a copy" trick that no longer working on u, try to add the file to another account of yours, i faced the same problem before, and somehow get pass it by changing it to my other google account
"Bypass Method still works (i found that you have to add a little step) once you added it to your drive, go to "shared with me"(refresh untill you see the file) and make a copy ,of the file, from there this should create a "true" copy" Thanks to:Alex Leonhart
damn,tried the alt+enter trick and still the cutscene stutters to oblivion. I'm the type to enjoy the cutscenes and the alabasta arc brought a nice nostalgia.
No, i have read some comments from steam users that bought the game, and some can play with 2 controllers but others can't. That means: game is compatible with 2 controllers and maybe it needs a patch to fix it.

The installer should be around 20GB, and installed game 22-23GB.
