um, can the links can be updated? i've tried downloading it but they ended up leading me to some irrelevant, shady website where you have to install a toolbar.

theres two things that could gone wrong (i think): 1. the game cant recognize the keyboard/joystick, 2. you need to download a better version of D3DXCompile.
