in title screen i click new game and... dont work

So I was download Half life 2 Episode 2 in this websize, I downloaded Half life 2 mmod. I want to play Episode 2 with mmod,i know how it works. But only working at main story and the Episode 1. In Episode 2 I was try to move all the mmod files to the folder.Made a shortcut for Episode two and typed -game hl2_mmod_ep2, but when I try to lunch game it seem is just normal episode 2 and not a the MMOD verision, everybodys have any idea How to play it with mmod in EP2 let me know! Thanks you guys very much!

why is this 15 gb, does this include episode 1 and base game?

Game wont save and turns to black screen at Chapter 2, doesnt recover. Basically you can only play 1 Chapter before it breaks.
