Every time I get to the 9th Lucretia mission (fog one) I get an Exception Access Violation error. Installed the game on a second PC, played through it all again, and still got the same error at that mission. Anyone get by it? Loved this series as a kid, was so excited to play this again ):
For some reason, this game would always get scratched until unplayable for me on the Xbox. I went through 5 games on three different Xboxes. I'm glad I'll finally be able beat this game. I don't want to buy this for a sixth time.
The game is 1.2 Gigs installed. Was it supposed to be shipped on floppy or what ? Still I'm gonna try it since it's got a pretty decent street cred'. But I heard the port is awful for PC players so I'll stick to controller gaming even though it's an RTS hybrid.
I'm liking it so far. Reminds me of Kessen 1&2 on the PS2. But oh boy is it ugly. The voice acting is bad, the sound is lacking, the controls are weird and the camera even weirder. Still like it. This is something they should properly remaster for sure !
as i said above, it was made for the original XBox, and it was originally made in 2004. that is why the graphics are the way they are and why people arent seeing the appeal to it. but for us that played it back then and fell in love with it (even though it was brutally hard) this is a GODSEND. i for one never thought it would ever be ported. although a remaster would be nice, i personally think it would take from the original charm. even if it hasnt aged well

i always try too keep my expectation in check tho and trust only my experience instead gaming news. specially since i am a hidden gem hunter and gaming news is one of the reason that i missed some title that shamed by news but i like on my earlier days. for now at least i am indifferent about re 3
Fugly as hell you're right. But after a couple of battles I think it's kind of good - bad voice acting, bad visuals but kind of good hack&slash&strategy gameplay. Just get a controller.
