i tried everything, but every time i try to launch the game it says "The code execution cannot proceed because d3dx9_42.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem." help pls?
For anyone having the dummy problem, go back to the ISO file and coppy all files from the PROPHER folder to your game files. Why this was confusing to me at first was because in most cases the folder is named CRACK not something else.
It appears that all the links - except for Megaup - are down. Problem is, Megaup won't let me download the file. It either redirects me to an ad page, downloads an .exe file or (when it finaly starts downloading a .rar file) doesn't actually download it. I have aprox. 35 MB download rate, so that shouldn't be the problem. Please help..
Did you download an exe file? When opening the exe, did you get a rar file, or am I missing something? If the above is true, you downloaded an ad, make sure you get the correct file.

Late reply, but to help people that come across this problem and comment in the future. Yes, you crack it. Most big games need cracking. Most cases there should be a CRACK/SKIDROW/PLAZA/PROPHET folder etc. in the .rar file. If there's not, you probably encountered a ISO file. Notice that when you mount it, an installer pops up, but also it appears in My Computer. After you successfully install it from the ISO, go to the mounted folder, OPEN it (not click, right click and open) and the crack folder should be there. What to do: copy the contents of the crack folder (mostly some dlls and an exe) and paste it in the game folder, then set them to replace all files, so the first .exe is replaced with the crack .exe, and same with these dlls. Now run the game.
If I got BNW with mongolia, Amrca cvl war and africa, but want the other DLCs, can i download only one part? if so, which one? or do i have to download both?

This game is still available on MegaUp. IGG only re-uploads when ALL links go down. not just Mega and Google Drive. Slow speeds are not a valid excuse for a re-upload.

Not all MegaUp works. To make MegaUp worth the time to use download IDM it downloads the files instead of the browser so the speed restrictions don't matter

okay so i found a way to play if you have the .exe you are lokking for error:so you need to take the .exe in the setup folder there is 2 folder search and you will find some .exe copy them to the civilizationV folder
Just got a quick question , the game works 0 Problem but when i put the Sdk inside the Mods Folder it seems the game doesnt find it. how can i solve this Problem ? is it even posible?
Not sure what cause it, but after a day or so when I try to start the game it will get to the loading screen & then to desktop. Before-hand it plays very well, then when i got to relaunch game it will start crashing. I have uninstalled & reinstalled many times to no effect. And help much appreciated. how to install: download all files and extract, then turn off anti-virus (Real-time protetion) and move the steam_api.dll and the other files from PROPHET to the data folder (after you started setup). I used 20 minutes figuring out how to move steam_api.dll wihout it saying "PERMISSION DENIED". stupid anti virus. then, start the launcher and click DirexctX11 or DirectX9. the windows 8 thing is only for touch screen. then open your folder, click "My computer" and right click on the CIV V "disk" (it's a fake disk, really) and click "remove" to then be able to remove the folder containing the game.
When I try to move the crack files into the main folder it is telling me " There is not enough space on Civ.V. you need an additional 43.4 MB to copy these files. Can anyone help with this?
OK. so nevermind. Now it doesn't show that "this isn't the .exe you're looking for" BS. But now every time I click an option, it shows a quarter second glimpse of a black window and then dies out immediately...
I literally did that at the time I was setting up the game files. Multiple times. That’s all I was trying to do? What patch is it exactly? Where EXACTLY do I need to place the patch? Because every time I tried doing it on my own, I received the same thing as a result.

open the .iso file in a separete window, go to the game location. copy the CONTENTS of the "PROPHET" folder in the game folder, replacing the old files. enjoy! :)
anyone know how to install mods? i created the MODS folder and extracted the downloaded mods into it but they dont show up in game? any ideas? I have a feeling i am placing my MODS folder in the wrong place. (I created the folder just where it was installed, not in any other folders).

Your mod should appear in the menu. Click the tick by the mod and choose "Next". The game will reconfigure the data to integrate the mod. 6: Setup a game and play.
I can't install it, it says me that the disk in full but it has 2 more gb then requested. And the file does not ask for a password. Can someone help me ?

What do you mean by game folder? I dragged everything from PROPHET to IGG-SMeiCivilizVComplEdition and try running it but it says the "This image is already mounted"
Okay, here's the problem: you didn't set up the game. From the sound of it, you've already mounted the image. That's good. That's the first step. Next you need to go to My Computer. If you're on Windows 7, just open Start and click on "computer". If you're on Windows 10, just open the file explorer and click on "computer". Once you get there, you'll see the game's icon there. Right click on it and press "open". A folder will open. Click on the setup file and let it set up your game. Once its done, it should create a shortcut for the game on your desktop. Right click on that shortcut and click on "open file location". A folder will open up. That folder is your game directory, also known as the game folder. Keep that folder open and go back to the IGG-SMeiCivilizVComplEdition folder. Now, drag everything inside of the PROPHET folder into the game directory. If you followed that correctly, the game will be cracked and you will be able to play it
You don't seem to understand. There isn't a Prophet "file", there's a folder called Prophet which has the crack files inside of it. You just copy those crack files to the game installation directory and you're done. Simplicity itself.
Open the .iso image. It'll be right in there, at the top. If it's literally not there, then try deleting the .iso image and extracting it again from the parts that you downloaded off of this site. If that still doesn't work, then you'll have to re-download every single part and then do it
Tenshi, if you download all of the files and go into the DLC folder and put it into the DLC folder for your actual Civ5, that should work. I bought the game legit but I wanted the dlcs, so I am gonna try this and see if it works. THIS DOES NOT WORK!!!! I CHECKED!
quite easy ;) you have to crack the game first :) when you have extracted the game there should be a folder called crack or something like that , you go in it and copy everything from the folder :) after you have installed the game , you open the file path of the game and then you insert the files you just copied in the file path of Civilization V :) Tell me if it works if not I am going to look again :)

Most of you Numbnuts dont even know how to extract/crack game and your talking shit about the uploader being crappy...iv been playing games from IGG since like forever and no problem/error or so.. Godly Thumbs Up For IGG
If you still need help try and rename the file (e.g. steam_api.dll to steam_api.(anything)) then move it and once it is in the file location where you need it re-rename it to the defult (rename it to steam_api.dll).

WinRAR says the archive is corrupted.

You need to move the PROPHET files content in your game files
