I feel you lol. I've spent like 130 hours into the game up until my friend told me that i'm literally missing almost 40% of the gameplay because i dont have any of the DLC. Guess im going to have to play the pirated version until i can save up for all the DLCs or until it goes to a huge sale.
Guys, if you're getting database migration error in launcher uninstall the game, delete the Hearts of Iron IV folder in Documents/Paradox Interactive and reinstall the game, then go into launcher_settings.json in the folder where you installed the game and change where it says distplatform: "steam" to "pdx".
If you're having problems with mod installation do it manually by putting the folder and .mod file of the mod you're installing in Documents/Paradox Interactive/Hearts of Iron IV/mod and copying the folder of the mod you're installing to Documents/Paradox Interactive/Hearts of Iron IV/workshop/content/211990. You also have to change the path at the bottom of the .mod file to "C:/Users/{user name here}/Documents/Paradox Interactive/Hearts of Iron IV/workshop/content/281990/{mod id here}". Mod id can be checked in descriptor.mod file in the mod's folder itself as remote_file_id. After this rename the mod's folder in Hearts of Iron IV/mod and Hearts of Iron IV/workshop/content/211990 to the mod's ID if it isn't already. If you don't have the mod and workshop/content/211990 folders just make them.

How do you get the dlc without, after changing "steam" to "pdx", getting error JSON cannot be parsed when I try to open the launcher. I cracked V.14.5 a few months ago and am downloading again so I can play Kaiserriech. Don't have steam btw.
Can someone help to install mods? the mod did appear in the launcher, i put it in a playset, and enable it. But smh when i start the game, it loads the vanilla one instead of the modded one. go to launcher-settings.json Change distPlatform from "steam" to "gog" instead, but you need to have an online fix file. If it doesn't work, I don't know because I tried and it worked.

Adding to this, you can absolutely 100% ditch the launcher, which will only annoy you as you play a cracked game.
To enable/disable mods and DLC, use the dlc_load.json file in the documents directory of the game. If it doesn't exist, just create it and format it as such

Did your AV block it? The method used to crack games is similar to the method used to code m-a-l-w-a-r-e! Anti-virus programs will detect the crack as a virus and delete/block it, even though it isn’t. yes, now i know why. The iso file you downloaded was not complete (for some reason, for example the file was corrupted during the download, the internet was unstable,...). The CRC64 code should be "9731037F70236D72".

Guys If you have no DLC active go to your Paradox Interactive Folder (usually at ur document) and delete it if you have the last 1.12.14 delete that also

Got an issue with the game, when I research better weaponry and start a production line with them, all of the new guns are converted instantly to the ones I started with in 1936. This affects the AI too.

Manually drag and drop into the game file downside you can only have 1 mod only because if you try add other and that will rewrite something causing it to break. It has same principle as Stellaris mostly I only making mod idea not hard to do you just need making new Decisions so AI won't use them and Idea for that effect.

Some errors are present in the map definition and have been logged to error.log
You might want to disable your mods and try again. If that fails, check the integrity of game files inside steam. If that fails, try clearing your user directory from the launcher.
This error happens because of failed file pathing, as in, your game fails to find the map files and as such fails to load and crashes
This happened to me a lot when trying to load Kaiserreich. I fixed it however. The problem was the pathing indeed. Go to the .mod descriptor file and edit it. This editing is way more easy when using a tool such as notepad+++
Look for the path, if it isn't there, put it yourself:
This is my path for kaiserreich: path="C:/Users/Asus/Documents/Paradox Interactive/Hearts of Iron IV/mod/kaiserreich"
One major error is the stripes. You may copy a path and your computer will put it with \ stripes, but this way, it won't be understood as a correct path by the mod, so make sure your path has / stripes, NOT \
Secondly, make sure the path is formated accordingly with the example, for example, it is started and ended with inverted commas "..."
Also makes sure the end of the path is the same name as your mod's FOULDER name, naming it something simple helps a ton.
This should fix the issue, it did for me, if it doesn't or you need help in the way feel free to ask, although I am not the sharpest when it comes to modding I can get around simple issues such as these.

I played it well with no troubles but, when i tried to install Millenium Dawn mod it started to answer me with the map load error. I tried to reinstall the mod but nothing, and after i tried to launch the game in debug mod and actually the map was a mess. After all i seen your comment and i tried to fix it but in the descriptor.mod file theh slashes and the commaas were fine. How i can fix it? The Millenium Dawn version is the latest that support 1.11.* and the game version is the 1.11.12 as the files downloaded here

Instead of pdx, I changed it to gog but this dlc gives me an error and if I leave it on pdx, I still get the same problem.
